Friendly, safe and great diving!!”
Wonderful family run resort. The staff are friendly and approachable. It's clean and the food is good. Filtered water is free, which is really nice of the owners to provide. There are dogs and cats that live there - very pet friendly. They are tame and not dangerous at all. The diving aspect of the resort is safe and they listen to your needs and make sure not to rush you. They are good teachers. The dive master is lovely and I went on a fun dive, which was incredible. My mum is not a diver and they are accommodating to that. They offer snorkelling and will bring other guests of yours on the boat if space allows to show them around the islands and white beaches. They will look after non swimmers and ensure their safety Thank you for a lovely stay and I will be going back in the future.

Great Value, excellent staff”
This is a great place to go. Linda the dive instructor / dive guide and the owner are very accommodating and personable ( both British ). It is a very small resort which is nice because when you dive there is only a handful off you in the boat. The place is very clean and the general staff / dive masters are very nice and hospitable. The place is very quite. You have beautiful view of the beach / ocean at sunrise and sunset.

The pool is excellent for my kids who were practicing their snorkeling skills. They were able to snorkel without life vests in Sombrero island, thanks to their confidence swimming in the nine-ft pool at the resort. The room we had (Rm 2) was spacious enough for the four of us. Food was good, had big servings that my 8 yr old twins had to share. Staff was helpful and nice. Will stay there again. The resort is small and that means it's not overcrowded. The waters directly infront of the resort had a few corals where my kids practiced snorkeling before we went island hopping.

Good people, good service and good food!”
When we first arrived , we were kind of not impressed because of the the steep stairs to go down to the resort and not a beach area ( realized that anilao is famous for diving not for sandy beach) but staff were so helpful and very warm welcoming and will make you feel home. Our room in our first night was big and and clean and has balcony, which is their newest room. We ended up staying for another 2 nights, but had to transfer room , and that’s the only down side the rest of our stay because the room we moved in to was too noisy, you can hear footsteps from upstairs room, right next to the reception and kitchen , so you can hear everything, but it gets quite at night though. We still decided to stay because of the dive master ( Dang) he is young but very professional and knowledgeable about diving. Dang is diving with My son who is is 12 yrs old and they had a great time. The resort owner and rest of staff were so nice and staff will offer some merienda (snacks) with them. The resort is small and relaxing place. Has a good diving sites/location to take you. We had a great time and relaxing time. I would definitely recommend this place, just get ready to exercise with those steps .

Thanks a lot for staying with us Mary and glad you enjoyed it. Steps are a bit of a pain but that is the same at a lot of Anilao. I've lost some weight since i started over here. I've noticed that that room can be a bit noisey also so we now save it to last that we sell that room, the others don't have that problem. Anyways glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again soon

This is a Resort for Diver’s, but they will cater to your needs as a beach comber. Highly recommend island hopping. The staff is great especially Angie and Eds…they all work very hard with their hospitality and it shows.

Lovely Stay”
We stayed for 5 days during the hot diving season. Room is very clean, 24/7 cool/hot water provided at the bar. Dive guild is prof, showed us a lot of interesting marine life. Staffs are super! Friendly and very helpful. Food was good. Already booked for next year :D

Exceptional”
Very nice place to stay and book island hop/dive. Would be better if the dive schedule starts earlier and ends before check out time of 12noon so you do not need to check out before the dive. Food selection was good though not priced a bit higher than usual. But very quiet and homely with just a few rooms to make the stay quiet exclusive. Added bonus, Shadow the Husky and Billy plus a few Labs that frolics around the resort.

Peaceful! ”
This place is the best for solo traveller and wanted to just relax and unwind. Staff are friendly not to mention the food, It’s awesome! I did my intro to diving here with John the diver instructor and i would love to continue the session and level up a bit! Will definitely be back. Thank you Blue Ribbon!

It was a great experience, staff were all friendly and nice. Food was great as well. I spent the day with a group of scuba divers, but the dive master was considerate to take the group where I can snorkel and the reef was just around 5-10m down. We also had brewed coffee in the boat.

Small, friendly dive resort”
I enjoyed my stay at the Blue Ribbon Dive Resort. The staff were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants a nice, relaxing stay. However I was disappointed that I was the only one looking for and finding nudibranchs! Both the guides and the divers seemed indifferent to the macro-life - an this is in Anilao, the nudi capitol! I did buddy up with a photographer who had just finished taking a super macro course from the resort owner and he was delighted to follow me around and take photos of the tiny creature that are so abundant there.

Owner/Coach Diver is very accommodating to all our questions. Were'nt able to dive because we haven't got clearance from doctor due to some respiratory concerns. But overall stay was good. So nice to have the 3 dogs around the resort. Island hopping is good alternative activity..and the resort FOOD IS A BOMB! So delicious!!! worth every penny :) Kudos to big servings as well!

Great dive-focused resort”
Rooms were smaller than we expected, but it was more than made up for by the lovely staff and the view on the balcony. As for the diving, we had a great instructor who showed a lot of patience and who didn't take any shortcuts in safety. A very good experience!

Room and restaurant staff were excellent, but some dive staff were not so friendly Cozy nice location Facilities were good Wish we could have stayed longer to actually do some diving. We only went snorkeling in front which was very difficult for newbies since the beach was very rocky. It was also nice that there was massage room service

The resort was ok. I enjoyed because there were many dogs in the area, the staff was friendly, the beach has live corals and different kinds of fish, great for diving. THE stairs going down was sooo steep a little dangerous for children. The resort was small since it is just a dive resort. The room was ok good for 3 people the aircondition was ok. The food was a little expensive for our family but I understand the price as well since the hand make some items and its yummy too.

Really only good if you intend to go diving”
A good choice for divers and for multiple night stays otherwise not recommended for others or just one night stay. Great diving, satisfactory accommodation, meals and facilities. The stairs down from and up to the parking lot at the main road are a killer which one doesn't want to repeat often. especially with dive gear or much luggage. Beautiful views.
