Clean, cheap place right near Alona Beach”
When we first arrived at the Hotel we couldn’t work out why it got such great reviews. It seemed like the basic kind of place you are likely to find via the Tourist office in Thailand or Philippines. However, once we had settled in we realised what a good choice Casa Nino is for the following three reasons: Clean, Location, and Value. CLEAN The rooms are basic but clean. The bed and linen are clean and sheets are changed and bed made daily. There are clean towels that are changed every day, there is a clean bathroom with new sink, shower and loo and there is always hot water. LOCATION In Bohol the liveliest area is the Alona Beachfront, which gives you options in terms of restaurants etc. Casa Nino is located on the small street leading up from the beach about 50 meters from the beachfront. This means you can turn right leaving Casa Nino to the beach or turn left to continue on the street which has further options. Next door is a Money changer, shop, tour operator, Spa, Dive shop and also the Taxi & Trike Pickup/drop-off, which is useful and the Bohol Bee Farm mobile shop (for ice-cream). The location is perfect for best of both worlds. VALUE We booked via Agoda and paid in advance so we were had nothing to compare the price to. But having stayed in Bohol for a few days we visited a few other resorts and Hotels and enquired about the price and it seemed Casa Nino was at least half the price! Considering the location, cleanliness and the fact that breakfast was included! (American or Filipino) It made Casa Nino excellent value for a Bohol trip.

Great staff, great location”
We had a great time here. The staff are always available to help you with anything. Thanks to Eng and Ramil for all your help ! The property is located is just a few steps away from Alona beach so if you're planning a snorkeling trip to Balicasag and Pamilacan islands...the boats in Alona are easily accessible from the hotel. You don't want to book far away from Alona beach as all the tour agencies and restaurants are located there. Alona beach can be crowded at times so we opted swimming in nearby Dumalauan beach which is just an approx 15mins tricycle ride away from Casa Nino. The tricyle drivers will charge you 150pesos for a chartered one-way trip to Dumaluan. The beach in Dumaluan is less crowded and much cleaner than Alona beach plus there's less boats parked in Dumaluan. The rooms are clean. Breakfast is included in the booking. Only downside with the property is that wifi is only available in reception but we've got mobile data on our phones so it's not really a big deal.

A nice place to stay with a family”
The hotel location is great- both close to the beach and restaurants/shops. The staff performance is very good! We stayed in Bohol during New Year Holiday, and the hotel was not fully booked, we could always get help when needed. The room servise was good, too. They serve only breakfast there, but you can always choose what to have and if we went for morning trips ( 6 am, for example)we had the breakfast for take away. It was good value for money- a lot of hotels were fully booked and we managed to book Casa Nino for a good price.

Awesome boos of this hotel ”
The hotel is very nice, near to the alona beach, just need to walk about 3 mins! We stay in this hotel about 2night, unfortunately the second day before we left, a typhoon blows bohol , therefore we can’t leave bohol. The boss of the hotel noticed our situation, very enthusiastic to help us. Help us to get a cost guard certificate, let us can use this for proofing we can’t leave bohol to catch up the flight next day, as a result we could reschedule our flight after the typhoon has gone. Additionally, the boss also sent us to another hotel which is also under their company to stay for one night during the typhoon blows bohol. It’s very lucky to meet this boss, thank you very much!

Very good hotel!”
The hotel is very good located just 1 min from alona beach. Location is very quite. Changing of towels and bed linen on daily basis. Also there is soap, shampoo, gel, toothpaste and toothbrush- every day new package. There is a balcony and it is allowed to smoke there. It is forbidden to bring hotel towels on the beach, so don't forget to take it with you. There are only 2 options for breakfast and it's not very delicious. There is a possibility for snorkeling so if you wish to bring snorkeling stuff with you or you can rent it for 150ph per day and also you can bring reef slippers as there are echinuses ( sand dollars). There are no sunbeds on the beach but you can rent it for nearly 700ph from Hennan resort. In the evening there are loads options for having dinner on the beach with different kinds of seafood ( fish, crabs, lobsters, clams, oysters, shrimps etc.)You can choose it by yourself the price is for 100gramm. There is no good supermarket near alona beach, so if you need something special you need to go tagbilaran city which is 17 km from alona. In the nearest shops you can find fruits, snacks, alchogol drinks, water, juice, ice-cream, cosmetics. I easily recommend this hotel for tourists.

Modern Room, Great Value”
Pros: The facility is clean, modern, secure and well maintained. The room is large, king sized bed, washroom is modern with large over head rain shower. Staff is friendly and helpful. 2 mins walking distance to Alona Beach. This place is also just across the famous Alona Kew Resort. The beach has tons of restaurants and live band entertainment at night. Free breakfast is good but small. I'm very pleased overall with this hotel. I would definitely be returning at this hotel! Great value for the price. Cons: No safety deposit box. Not a decent restaurant in the hotel but this is no problem because there's tons of restaurants along the beach! No swimming pool but who needs it when the beach is so awesome!

Satisfactory”
The resort is not situated in beachfront. It is a 5-min walk to beachfront. It is in the center of Brgy. Tiwala near bars, restaurants & mini-marts. The area is crowded at times. Beachfront have many boats parked. When you walk down going to the beach, go to the left side facing the beach and there is a stretch of bars and restaurants as well. Room is satisfactory, clean & spacious. The shower water pressure is very low but tolerable. I suggest you request for a pale and a deeper, instead of using the shower. No fridge inside the room but you can ask the reception to store in their fridge. The breakfast selections are limited - Filipino (tocino/longanisa with rice) and Western (sausage/ham with toast). Buy things you need (bottled water, chips, toiletries, etc.) from a bigger grocery stores in Tagbilaran town proper. The price of these in Panglao Island is a little expensive.

Next hotel near beach and good staff”
on my 2nd trip to alona beach i decided to stay here at a lot cheaper price than hotels right on the beach. the hotel is within 2 minute walking distance of the beach. staff was the best there. i extended my stay there for 10 days. rooms were good. hot water was ok only, they use the electric heating coils like many hotels do in the philippines. they do have free wi-fi that always worked. breakfast was good, staff were friendly and kind.

Adequate and clean but not value for money.”
The hotel is nice enough. The room is an OK size but for the price paid I was expecting more. The mattress is cheap and thin. The TV is small and the wifi does not extend to the room. No tea/coffee nor water provided in the room. The bathroom looks nice enough but there is an odour from the water. Having said all that I did see some other rooms at other places that friends stayed at and Bohol Casa Nino is cleaner and newer than those places. I would stay here again if alone.

Just ok”
Well casa nino resort is just on the road and very accessible. It has access to white beach. Just don't expect that they clean the rooms everyday because our rooms weren't cleaned. Breakfast it's already pre-cooked.ane oven after. They offer coffee in the rooms but no water boiler. Shower with malfunction water heater. Worst is they don't offer late check out but you know there's no other clients. Management is literally just milking it. No plans of imrovement based on we experienced. But then if u need a room in alona just for sleeping, this is good enough.

Good location, clean”
Location of the resort is good it very close to the beach, lots of dining choices and stores. The property itself does not offer much in terms of facilities but the room was clean and everything worked fine. Staff was accommodating. In the end, I was looking for a good jump off point for our activities those 3 days and this place fit the bill perfectly.

I have stayed here about 10 nights in 3 trips”
I have stayed at this hotel more than 10 nights total over 3 different visits. It was nice to see that the same small group of staff were all still there since my last visit 8 months ago. The staff is very nice. Free simple breakfest. 100 feet from the beach but far enough away to be away from the last night beach noise if a music band is playing on the beach.

Directly near to the beach, but still calm”
We stayed here for 4 nights. All in all we enjoyed the stay, because it was near to everything. Easy to book the tours around Alona Beach. You have good restaurants around and can also rent the motorcycles next to the hotel. The breakfast is not too much, but enough for a starter. The stuff was so friendly and also prepared everything for breaksfast for take out for the daily tours. The rooms are quiet dark, but silent and clean. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!

Excellent”
The price of the hotel is okay. The room is comfortable..I just dislike the transparent door in the bathroom - not all travelers are couple. I suggest they need to change the door. The location is superb.. 3-5 mins walk to the beach. The staff is nice.
