Even though the location is far away (abt 20km) from the main town of KK and Borneo, it is actually a short and easy drive. Afterall, this is a perfect place to be away from the bustling city where u get vert close to the sun, sand & sea. The sunset was a beauty looking straight into our villa. I am so glad to have spent such a quiet & quality time with my wife & 2yo son. As in almost every such premise, just be prepared for the insects & mosquito which, a good thing, appears mostly after 7pm. Hotel was good to standby mosquito coil in the villa which we eventually didn't use. The facility is very well maintain & the beach is so clean. I am reserving my last part of my review for the ever friendly, polite, excellent staff which made our stay smooth & great. I am already looking forward to spending a longer vacation in Sabah & most of my stay will be at Borneo Beach Villa. Looking forward to a wonderful family retreat in the near future. 2 thumbs up.

First time staying at BBV and I really enjoyed my stay! Requested for a room deco for my wedding anniversary and guess what? They did it as per request. I feel blessed and was so thankful to BBV team! We also got a room at the corner with beachfront view. It is so lovely.. As for the room, it is big and spacious enough with a balcony . My kids love it. All basic utensils is provided there. No worries. Bath tub is big and got sauna too. As for the staff, from front desk to their cleaning team, service given was superb and also very friendly. Thank you BBV! Sure will come back again and will try to stay at villa. Cause I didn’t have the chance to stay at the villa, it was full last time. Once again thank you! Definitely will back again.

Best Place For Family Holiday”
Actually this is not my first time staying in Borneo Beach Villa… I stayed at this place as holiday trip with my family since 2019! The environment is so nice. The beach is so clean! Bagi yang bawa anak anak kecil, boleh bawa mandi kolam! Facilities at Borneo Beach Villa are very sufficient for family trip. We can cook here. Besides, those who need to recharge mind and body, boleh pilih this place…the sound of the sea are amazing and during sunrise, with the fresh air, you can plan your business or work plan and doing meditation. As for me, i will always choose this place to plan and think how to grow my bakery business🥰 Much love for this place! and yes, will going there for another vacation…🥰

Affordable, Helpful, Kind and Tolerate”
First & foremost, the rate of the suite is very much affordable. You can't get this rate at other resort. Secondly, the staffs are very helpful and kind. The instructions given upon online checked-in were clear and understandable. The best part was the management was very tolerate. I asked a permission to check out a little bit late because I wanted to perform zohor prayer at my suite before i checking-out, and they permitted me to do so. The room is very spacious, clean and cosy. All the amenities worked so well. The view of the resort is tremendous. I plan to come back again in the coming school holidays.

1) Room is spacious and clean for family member of 4 (Booked two rooms SeaView Spa Suite) ***There is spa bathtub and sauna room in your master bedroom!💯 2) Beach is clean and less crowded. Not visitor is allowed to their private beach. 3) Serve a good breakfast with lots of varieties 4) Staff is friendly. Alway smile when answer guest enquiry. 5) FREE chocolate for staying !❤️ 6) Solve problem immediately. I found my bathtub is broken and they change another room for me instantly. They admit their fault and make correction immediately. This REALLY SURPRISE ME. Good job.

The house is clean, has a bath tub in the master room. Aircond in each room and living room. Basic kitchen utensils provided. Tv is not a smart tv so make sure you bring a mi stick if you plan to watch netflix on the tv. can rent bbq grill for rm80, but only one pack of charcoal is provided so make sure you bring extra. Can just walk to the beach. Beach is clean with very clear water. Recommended for a big family staycation. Got free breakfast but it's not buffet style, one order per pax. Best meal for the breakfast is the roti canai kari ayam!! Other meals are so-so.

Great place to relax with kids!”
45 mins away from KK city center but worth the drive as there is a beautiful private beach right in front of the accommodation. The beach is relatively safe (but watch out for the indicator flag) with lovely sand and the sunset view is not to be missed! A lot of people would stroll along and wait for sunset to capture. Staff are super friendly and breakfast is awesome. Malaysian Nasi Lemak away from home is a plus! on top of the western+asian+local selection. Having a rental car makes for better experience getting around here. We got one from the airport. The only issue we had was inconsistent water pressure. Usually had to wait a bit before able to shower properly. I have seen several stray dogs around early in the morning but they weren't a nuisance.... no traces of p00p on the grass & sand of that's ok. !!!Highly recommended!!!

Best getaway”
So just got back from BBV. The staff was friendly. The place was exeptional. We took the one bedroom villa, its like a 4 stories apartment but very exclusive with a living room, kitchen, one master bedroom with its own bath room. There was a jakuzzi tub and personal sauna room too. We took the highest room, the sea view is remarkable. Its a shame the monsoon season brings harsh winds, we cannot play at the beach. The pool is nice. But the security is strict you need to wear swimwear attire. I was asked to leave or to take my jersey off. The place is very private. You are not allowed to bring visitor. They even checked if your name is on the booking then only you can go in. Good view, good room, I am grateful

Very Relaxing and Excellent for Kids”
We came with 3 grandchildren aged between 2 to 6 (and their parents). We had a 3-bedroom villa. The pool by the living room was excellent for the kids, as was the large grassland behind the villa, and the private beach beyond the grassland. The BBV cafe served good food at inexpensive prices (and the kids can walk to the cafe over the grassland instead of on the road). The only problem is that there were too many flies during lunch time, but later we moved indoor and the problem goes away. The resort is quite far from the city centre, but the concierge helped us book a van (with driver) at a very reasonable rate (for a full day), and we spent a day at the UNESCO Kinabalu Park and another day at the Sabah Museum and the Floating Mosque. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and we will definitely come again.

This is your perfect getaway with your family if you plan to have a relaxing week away from hustling city. Hotel / villas are very spacious and comfortable. Toilets are clean and every hotels /villas have their own kitchen equipped with utensils. You can rent bbq pit and bicycle. Staffs are friendly and helpful. And don’t forget to catch the sunrise and sunset when you’re here.

The view was great, the suite was so close to the sea and you can hear all night the waves hit the shore. The suite was spacious enough and clean. The jacuzzi was working well, so does the sauna. All was great! Wish to come here again.

Last minute booking to this resort, same day as checked-in, booked 1 bedroom seaview. When checked-in, was given 2 bedroom seaview. The unit was spacious and clean. The children love it. Except for balcony - a bit dusty. Kitchen utensils provided. Overall, my family and i love staying at this resort. Looking forward for next stay at pool villa.

Check in procedure was very smooth and the staff named "doremon" was so friendly😊 Room condition was superb. The pool was so clean, nice and enough space for 3adults with 2 young kids. I have booked 2bedroom pool villa. The beach was so near to our unit eventhough we didnt booked beachfront. Recommend this place as has own pool&kitchen and rooms were spacious and clean. This trip was our 5th time visit. Will definitely go back to this place for our short holiday next year again. Tips: keep all the door close all the time otherwise many flies will come in😅 뒷문옆문 열어두면 파리엄청들어와요. 항상문닫고계세요~ Thank you!!!

Perfect short getaway for family!”
we booked for apartment as we only need to let the kids play at the beach, but as we arrived, we were amazed with apartment. The space is big enough for kids to run around. the kitchen is complete with fridge, stove, toasters and other necessities. after beach, we managed to play on the bath tub. the master bathroom is complete with jacuzzi and the shower is also equipped with sauna. It was a short getaway but the experience is worth the price !

One of the best resort I have visited till now. The room was well equipped and the service was excellent. From our villa we could view the sea and feel the cool breeze. The location of our villa was absolutely perfect.The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The view of the sunset from that point was mesmerizing.

Huge villa with private pool abd huge bathtub. Its my second time here for the 2 consecutive year. My kids love the private pool and us adult love the beachfront villa with a beautiful sunset view. I even believe the beach view is like Bali but u are actually in Kota Kinabalu. Worth every penny.
