Tired room with broken window handles and bath panel taped up”

Tired old room with broken window handles so you couldn't open one window or close another one! The bath panel was all taped up to be held onto the bath. Burn holes in furniture. Massive empty wardrobe falling apart with no hangers. Fridge with mouldy food in it.

Could have been better ”

It was okay. The check in/out was easy. It was in a good location. I didn't have any food, so I can't comment on that. The room was an agreeable size for a single, but the carpet had a large vomit stain, the furniture was wobbly, the bet springy, the TV terrible quality. The bathroom was okay, a hair in the bath, horrible non slip mat inside. Towels and bedding were clean. Room was far too hot, radiator was on full blast but even when turned off it was hard to sleep, and the windows didn't open enough to let enough fresh air in. Sink had some sort of burn marks and ceiling was rough but all in all for the money it was okay, could of been much better. It's not what I'd call a standard agreeable quality.

Top class it warants a 4 star not a 3.The staff were very very good. The bed was comfortable and the view of the sea just great with the sea gulls my wake up call. I will stay there again.

The room needed a lot of work doing to it, it was very tiered and the heating did not work.

Looking a bit tired but ok”

This hotel is looking a bit tired the paint work needs updating as do the internal furnishings but it's still clean inside. I booked a single room only to find out it was on the 4th floor and the life only goes to the third floor. The walls of the rooms are very thin and you can easily hear sounds from the next room. The room was however clean as was the bathroom Had a nice sea view from my room though

Typical seaside hotel”

this particular room was small and located behind the reception desk. it was noisy as near lifts, communal toilets and communal areas. small ensuite, tiny shower with no room for a sink (sink located in bedroom). bare wires exposed on hot towel rail, there appeared to be no way to turn this appliance off. bedroom tv and radio not working, reception said due to digital switchover, however main bar lounge tv was digital and working. bed very lumpy. can't speak for other rooms in the hotel breakfast buffet adequate.

needs updating badly”

cheap and cheerful needs to update rooms ok 30 years ago , shower cubicle small , wash basin in bedroom , ok for one night couldnt stay for a week .

location ok”

rooms smelt damp,nets at window dirty, shower useless, shower cubicle tiny u could not move, the whole hotel is dated, might have been ok in the fiftys,would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel is in a great area but the room small”

i stayed in a lovely area and the hotel is not far away from the beach and near to the town centre people can walk easily to do their shopping
