Great location but no English spoken”
This is a brand new hotel right above route 12 - the main road between Phitsanaluk and Phetchabun, about 63 kms west of Phetchabun town itself, commanding great views of the surrounding mountains. Everything is in good condition as it is so new, but the swimming pool was not filled when I was there. It was being prepared however and will most likely be ready soon. Unfortunately it appeared none of the staff understood or spoke any English. I was ok as I had a Thai person with me but it could be a problem if sign language or pointing fails you! Also the menu has very little Western food on offer and the Thai food is relatively expensive for that area. There is no wine available. The included breakfast did offer an American style one but it was very basic and would disappoint an American! A car would be essential here as there is no public transport to speak of. The region of Khao Kho is a great place to explore so this alone makes the hotel ideal for that.

very conveneint and easy to go to any tourist attraction in Khao Kho. The hotel has a big and clean room. the bed and pillow are very comfortable and made me sleep well throughout the night.

Excellent location with mountain view”
Hotel reception and services are good. The mountain view from the restaurant and guest rooms is great. The cool breeze from the outdoor seating at the restaurant compliments the name of this hotel. Guests can travel to many places in Khao Kor from this hotel. We will care taint return to this hotel again.

Simple clean room with comfortable bed and good views from nice balcony. swimming pool. simple to find for the weary traveller right beside route twelve but on a hill so little traffic noise.

Reasonable”
The hotel looks quite new. Room conditions are overall moderate. However, it has everything that I need for staying. Price is reasonable. Breakfast is buffet, but has very limited choices to select from (if we don't compare with 5-star hotels then what they have should be enough for everyone's breakfast). The weather was very good and we impressed (December visit). In reach to top destinations.

Great Hotel with Very Good Restaurant ...”
Nice hotel in a great location but you need a car to go anywhere including to eat outside the hotel. But this is the first time in many years that I would be happy to eat at the hotel for a week without leaving. It is very, very good value at the same prices as off site eats ... which is most unusual for a hotel. And is beautifully located outdoors with fabulous views and air. Great views. Downside ... AirconditioningI don't run mine at night but was kept awake listening to everyone else's! If the hotel management would take the blankets off the beds that were designed for European winters ... the guests wouldn't need to run their aircon at night.

The hotel is pretty new but it's good for business or just 1 night stay more than a romantic vacation. The service is below standard. With such a low price, I would consider it as a save one night stay when visiting Khao Koh.

Great location for exploring”
spanking new hotel in great location with goood mountain views. no english spoken though. if you run out of hand signals you will need a thai person with you. food is basic thai with few concessions to western tastes. american breakfast would not be recognised by an american i fear! but a good place to stay to explore the area. no public transport so a car is essential. each of the 30 guestrooms at the hotel is well designed and fully equipped. room amenities include mini bar, shower, internet access - wireless (complimentary), desk.

Nice new hotel, excellent mountain location. The staff were helpful and polite. We could not fault the hotel for the price we paid it was good value. It would have been nice if they had just a few international TV channels as there are none (Thai TV Only)

Great location to travel around by car”
We stay only one night with 6 years old kid. He really enjoy hotel swimming pool. Although it is a small one but enough for kid. Hotel location is convenience and perfect for family who plan to travel around. Room is sizable and in good condition as the hotel is newly open. Staff was friendly.

Wasted potential”
The hotel has great potential, but it has been wholly wasted. The hotel faces directly onto Route 12 and thus suffers some traffic noise. There is building under way on the adjoining plot, though there was no activity while we were staying. The rooms are clean and a reasonable size, though the quality of the fitments is very poor and they are already showing signs of wear. The bathroom has a shower with its own heating unit, though this appears to be of too little power as turning the water beyond a trickle resulted in a cold shower. The restaurant is outside, the roof - which leaks - appearing to be made of old fertiliser bags, though presumably they advertise some product I do not recognise. The food is only very average in quality and the choice was poor. A Thai speaker is needed given the extraordinary translations into "English". Breakfast is very poor and of the quality one would expect in a B300 a night guest house; indeed, some cheap guest houses would offer a better selection. Never have I seen guests expected to help themselves to margarine from a 5KG plastic tub and "jam" from a similarly sized plastic tub, the staff being too lazy (the restaurant was not busy) to consider presentation. Customer service was non existent and even my Thai daughter in law (with many years experience in the hotel trade) expressed a view that this was amongst the worst she had encountered. The staff were dis-interested in their guests and has no concept of what was reasonably expected of them. The swimming pool - which is nowhere as large as the photo suggests - has no tables or chairs, thus guests must sit on the ground if they wish to use it. I was surprised to see the pool being topped up for at least two hours by use of a garden hose, thus bypassing the filtration system. Not a pool I would care to use. This hotel is very expensive for what it is and I would recommend others to avoid it.
