A classic hotel in a prime location”
I have stayed in the Adelphi hotel before, so I knew it was good. It is a classic Edwardian building tastefully furnished and decorated, in a prime location near the city centre and close to Lime Street station but far enough to be shielded from the noise of trains. I had booked a superior double room, but was very pleased to find myself upgraded to a large suite. The staff were also most helpful. I hope to return soon for a longer stay.

When I arrived at the hotel with 2 children early than 2pm b4 check in I asked if there were somewhere to put ur bags while we went round shopping and they where really helpful the bedrooms are really spacious for 2 children especially with me having a baby it gave him somewhere to crawl the hotel staff are really nice and polite on our stay and the breakfast in the morning was really scrumptious I will b staying there again in the nearby future thanks u for our stay

The room was big but basic,bathroom needed some attention,lifts to every floor, staff were lovely its central to all the attractions and also not far from the train and bus station . We really enjoyed our stay at the Adelphi and would go again,the only thing we were disappointed with was when we booked it said insight parking what it didn't tell you there is a £12 for 24 hours fee which is paid at the desk on arrival bit all in all a nice stay

The bedroom walls could do with a freshen up, however, there were a team of decorators in the hotel so maybe this will happen soon. The bathroom was spotless. Excellent location, so central and so close to the station. The staff were so friendly and professional and the bar was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend it.

Olde World Charm”
Despite my Liverpool friends telling me the Adelphi has a bad rep, I could find no fault with it. The Adelphi is a historic landmark in Liverpool, right opposite "the statue exceedingly bare", and the rooms reflect that bygone Victorian grandeur, with a few mod cons like electricity and wifi. If you're looking for a modern, slick experience with all the bells and whistles, the Adelphi is not for you. If you are looking for a relaxed view into how the hoi poloi used to live then you'll appreciate the charm of the Adelphi. And the staff were fantastic even though much overworked on the day I arrived with 2 conventions happening at the same time. And a great location, a few minutes walk from Liverpool's main Lime Street Station and even closer to Central Station for trips to Chester and surrounding Merseyside attractions

Nice place good location helpful staff clean room the hotel has lovely features So big and so quiet nothing happening car park was a bit expensive would not have booked if I had known it was going to add another £13 to my bill it was very busy on booking the need more staff and too many people outside asking for change other than that it was ok

very dated in the room especially. for the price with no breakfast it was poor. the only thing in its favour was the location. it was clean but the furniture had paint in it, and chipped. could do with a refurb.
