Good location, but. Lacking on many fronts. Old uncomfortable beds/ mattresses; WiFi that does not work in the morning; no hair shampoo provided in the bathrooms

Disturbed night”
The room was very worn, needed refurbishing. beds quite comfortable but we were kept awake much of the night by people in the next room talking incessantly, evidently the walls are much too thin. I complained to the reception desk and the night porter spoke to them but they still continued. So woke tired, took a swim in the pool, unheated, so bracing. Missed breakfast.

No tv remote. Had to ask for one. Bathroom/toilet door would not close Extractor fan in bathroom not working or missing Mattress quite thin.

Well priced hotel”
We found this hotel to be well priced & the location is great. It is right at the top of Old Christchurch Road so you are only a short walk from a variety of different restaurants & nightlife. The hotels room was not a bad size even if the bathroom was a little bit of a squeeze. I was only there for 1 night but found the staff pleasent & had no problem checking in. There is free wifi downstairs in the lobby but we found our room to be close enough that we could pick up the signal which was a result. I would definately stay here again on my next visit to Bournemouth.

Tired family hotel, needs a complete makeover.”
The first floor rooms are not on the same level, making it difficult for older people to drag suitcases up and down several stairs en-route from the ancientnlift to rooms. Lounge furniture was very old , as is the bedroom furnishings. Toilet roll holder in bathroom was non existent, I guess it was fell off the wall and was never replaced. The flat roof outside my bedroom was covered in pine needles and other items, looked like many seasons since it was cleaned up. The breakfast room staff were helpful, but insisted on showing me to a predesignated table. Most modern hotels provide a self serve breakfast buffet, this hotel seems to live in the seaside hotel tradition of providing a traditional English fry-up. Maybe tasty but certainly not very healthy.

good location near to shops, bars and clubs. yes the hotel has seen better times but for the location and price it's good value. i will stay here again.
