We stayed for 7 nights in late August. From the hotel car pick up in Da Nang to the our departure to Hue we could not have had a better time. What really impressed us was the level of service from all the staff. This extended from the seafood BBQ where the manager Hung was so polite to one of his team, Tung who was able to name all the dishes on the menu. In the Lounge Bar, we were impressed with one of the managers, Vien who explained how the hotel ran a program to train disadvantaged youths in the hospitality industry. Last but not least was the front of desk manager Hieu, who from the moment we checked in was engaging, funny and very helpful with his local knowledge. The hotel is on Cua Dai beach and is a 15 minute shuttle to the old town of Hoi An or 100K Dong ($5 with tip) This was our second trip to Vietnam and by far the best hotel we have stayed in. Highly recommended

We stayed four nights in this beautiful hotel with our two adult children. Our suite was beautiful! We were overlooking the ocean, with waves crashing against the rocks, just below our window. The bedroom was large, and attractively laid out. There was a small tea room between the bedroom and bath. The whirlpool tub was great, and I loved the experience of showering outdoors in the open air shower enclosure. Our kids had a lively room overlooking the garden white a great view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout or stay, and the Sunday brunch and breakfast buffets were outstanding. The large infinity pool overlooking the ocean was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the comfortable recliners set around it. Sadly much of Cua Dai beach on which this resort is located, has been washed away through a combination of erosion and storms. In spite of thsi, I would still recommend this as a beautiful relaxing place to stay. They have restored a small section of beach beside the resort, which is quite nice, and one of the few beaches remaining in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An. It is an easy trip into the old town and a beautiful relaxing place to escape the bustle of the town itself.

Great moment in here give me great memories. Freakly speaking I expext not much when I booked but thier response is fast whatever I ask with kindness before get there and it is great as it gets by geart facilities, service, mood and staffs especialliy Sophia. Xin cam on to little boutique and Sophia and other staffs. I wish alreadyto get there once more. 1. Sfaffs is full with kindness 2. Kind and rakish service 3. When I decided to stay at Cua Dai beach, the difficult question was which hotel to stay. Among the five-star beach resorts, I chose this hotel to reserve a beach-front bungalow at a reasonable price. I believe the choice was right. As my family took an early flight to Danang, I asked the hotel for early check in. Upon arrival, we were assigned Room 418, which was one of the 14 rooms in front of the beach. The view from the door facing the beach or the terrace was brilliant. We were very satisfied with the room. The bathtub was uniquely located in a place similar to courtyard and looked nice but it took a while to fill the hot water. Beach was beautiful and uncrowned. To spend a day there and the poolside was lovely. Spa treatment near the beach was amazing experience to ladies of our family at affordable price. It was convenient to take a taxi to and from the charming town of Hoi an though there was a free shuttle run by the hotel.

Great breakfast buffet, pool, and comfortable rooms. The staff were helpful and played often with our kids. The location I rated 3 stars since it’s really 5 stars for being on the beach but 1 star for being so far from anything else. Fortunately the hotel offers a free shuttle to/from old Hoi An about 5 times a day. Plus for food there are cheaper tasty restaurants 10min walk north to the intersection with Cua Dai road, or also south about 300m there are seafood restaurants popular with locals. The hotel restaurant does have good food but is expensive. The beach was clean and had nice sand and waves for kids and adults to play in. The hotel sets up free deck chairs and cushions for guests. The pool and gym were also nice when it was too windy at the beach.

I visit Hoi An 3 times per year on average and Hoi An Beach Resort sticks out as one of the best options on Cua Dai beach by far. Simply put, the staff are friendly, well trained, and attentive. Moreover, it is their professionalism and enthusiasm that really makes this place stand out against some of its competitors. On the down side, the ocean front rooms suffer from being too close to the street, which makes for some horn filled mornings, and do not have very nice views all around to be honest, but the River Villas are pure relaxation and well worth the slightly higher price. Otherwise, the breakfast is simple but good, while the coffee is excellent, the pool is lovely, and almost no one ever uses the billiards room which is simple but nice. Moreover, its a great option on Cua Dai and one of the few places in the area where you can enjoy the views of the sun going down over the river

We had a wonderful holiday in this hotel. We choose this one because it's near the beach. You can go to Hoi An by bycicle, motor or Hotel shuttle. Everything else is good compare to other hotel in Cua Dai and Hoi An. We will come back in future.

The hotel is newly renovated and located at a very convenient place: 2 minute walk to Cua Dai beach, 15 minute cycly to An Bang beach and 20-25 minute cycle to Hoi An ancient town. They also provide shuttle bus to the town at scheduled time.

My wife and I decided to splurge while on vacation in Da Nang and decided to stay here. First, Hoi An is worth the visit and if you want some pampering this is the place to stay. Our room was great with a view of the pool and ocean, but of course, every room has a view of the ocean. The staff was attentive to all our needs and went above an beyond in helping us. The pool is very big and great after a day of sightseeing. One thing to note is that there is no beach, but waking up to the sound of the ocean was great. If you want to go to the beach, they offer free shuttle buses to the beach and Hoi An city. I could go on about how great this place is, but I will end with the fact that there is a mini-mart on the premises selling what you would expect from marts; beers, water, snacks, etc. I definitely recommend this hotel.

At first this is a basic hotel with a tiny pool. Nothing fancy. The rooms are nice. new and very clean. Bathrooms have the new windows so you can see your partner take a dump or shower. Breakfast is good. Eggs the way you want them. Pho and croissants and of course fresh fruits and baguettes. Even the coffee was good. Good hotel and worth the price. We booked two adjescent twins for 54 euro. Tv. Balcony. Aircon. Safe. it's all there. No blackout curtains though. They provide bicycles for 40k a day. The hidden gem of this hotel is something I would advertise but they don't. We arrived and the receptionist told us that apart from the kiddie pool in the front garden we were allowed access to the beach club across the street. This is an overpriced beach club with a very nice pool, garden, lounge beds and parasol ON the beach worthy of a five star resort. Palm trees and all! Absolutely great! Drinks and food are way overpriced though. But you are not obliged to order anything.

We arrived very late in the evening as our flight was delayed but the pick up service from the hotel waited for us at the airport which was very generous. The owner Hau just ggave us some basic information so we could go upstairs and rest. In the morning we were able to choose from a variety of foods for breakfast. It was very nice and inviting. After that one of the staff members showed us everything on the map and gave us some information before she went ahead and booked us a night bus to go to Nha Trang. She looked up various options for us and helped us a lot. We then took the free bikes into town which took between 20-30 mins. Sadly on our way back in the evening when it was dark my bag was stolen out of the front basket on the bicycle. The owner of the hotel was of tremendous help and helped me manage everything with the police. It was quite the hassle so I'm forever grateful for her help. Hau is an amazing person. I would definitly reccomend this hotel to anybody.

Pros: Good value, 5 minutes walking to Cua Dai beach, nice to meet other travelers in the common space that double as the check-in and dining room, nice to have a bathtub in the room, good AC. Cons: Many mosquitos in the room when I arrived, the walls seem half-painted, Cua Dai beach is nice but it's highly eroded now and not as nice as neighboring beaches like An Bang.

We stayed in Hoi An ancient town for 3 nights and we decided to move out to stay away from the crowd. We didn't regret at all. This hotel is located in Cua Dai area where is next to the ocean and a lot less people. We enjoyed the peace of the ocean, river. There are a lot of seafood restaurants in this area and the price is very reasonable as well. I would stay here again and If I need to go to the ancient town, I can just bike there.

You should definitive stat here! The hosts are SO friendly and helpful, the property is new and super clean and modern! It's a short walk to the beach, and only like 10 min taxi into Hoi An city. The breakfasts are good. The pool is so refreshing!! The price is right. And to top it all off the hosts did an amazing family style dinner for free for all the guests one night!! This was a definite highlight.

The staff were so chatty and helpful. The shuttle bus could have been more regular but was very reliable. The hotel was actually lovely and our room was always clean and modern and big and great views. Lovely pool and pretend/make shift beach abs beach front bars. It was heart breaking to see the effect of the weather and erosion on the coast line and businesses along the Cua Dai beach including restaurants and other resorts. Would definitely go back to Golden Sand.

our visit to hoi an city took place during rainy days that's why i can't tell much about beach amenities. hotel itself represents a huge building with tall ceilings and somehow leaves impression of an industrial building which seems a little spooky during nighttime. in the description they say that this is "a recently built property", well to me it seemed built long time ago, but recently moved in, as hotel didn't seem very fresh, however rooms and hotel were clean. if i got it right, hotel doesn't have it's own private beach, but the good thing is - another hotel is being built right in front of it (at the seaside), which means they will improve access to the beach and will fresh up overall area. i enjoyed lovely attitude of hotel staff, lady in the reception even offered her private laptop for us to have access to the internet. as it was raining all the time, i wanted to have sauna or massage, but the hotel did not have any of those. also a good thing is, that nobody in range of 2km around the hotel will ask you to "buy something". you can sleep how much you want, because you won't be disturbed by sounds of motorcycles. getting to this hotel from airport or railroad station of da nang isn't a problem as hotel price includes tranfers. this should be considered a place to stay if you are not willing to pay extra and wish to have a beach nearby at the same time. but bear in mind, that the distance to the town center is approximately 8km

ust 1 minutes walk from the beach, this home stay is ideally located in Cua Dai (you cross the street et voilà!),only 15 minutes bike drive from busting Hoi an. We loved it! We stayed in the huge family room for 5 nights. The room was clean, simple. At the beginning we missed a little peace of furniture in the bathroom to display our toiletery, but than, you just ignore it! I read in a review ants were a problem.... There were a few, we than kept all our food in the fridge, and they eventually disapeared . Cleaning came every day, with new towels and you get extra towels for the beach. The owners are realy great . They gave us the feeling to be really welcome, which is not always the case in Vietnem. Starting with a smile in the morning, alway ready to help out and take care of things! The breakfast prepared by the owner or member of the family is generous and varied. The owner organised the airport transfer for USD 20 one way, which is convenient and the car comfortable for the 30-45 minutes ride to Da nang. Also, the owner has some bicycle for rent, but we recommend a scooter you can hire next doors! The Homestay has a library with books you never even heard about, must be 200 books in various languages! Great!! The beach is nice, you'll find few beach shakes there wit good food, the use of sunbed is free of charge if you eat and drink there! We recommend the 2 last ones near the fishing boats. Cua Dai is a village but has every thing you need : pharmacy, post office, Internet cafe to print out things like electronic tickets, souvenir shops and restaurants open very late! It was a perfect stay, in a calm place (important to us at night), and we really recommend this Homestay.

We were surprised that they clean the room for us every day. The family lives there with their children and makes breakfast for us everyday. They were warm to introduce the various places to go (however, suggest to do your own research as some places/shops that they recommend may be overpriced). They invited us for a home-cooked dinner and that was really the best we had in Vietnam. Location wise, it's near a market and Cua Dai beach. The homestay rents bicycles for free so you can cycle to the near ancient town for shopping and cafe-hopping. There is also a mini mart just beside and a pharmacy right opposite the homestay. Great location in proximity to the main attractions and yet safe from the buzz of the city!

Clean and beautiful rooms, very good breakfast for cheap price, 100m from the beach, such a good fruit shop and Jenny is lovely, she helped us with all our need! Could not be happier! 6km from center but you can rent motorbike or bicycles cheaply!

Great family-run homestay near Cau Dai beach. Rooms are well-appointed, possibly the nicest we've experienced over 3 months of travelling. It's a 50 minute walk to Hoi An ancient town, though there are free to rent bikes for those averse to the walk (we enjoyed it!), and a 20 minute walk to An Long beach. Taxis to town were 80000 dong. The best part, for us, was the staffing of this wonderful place. Nga is very kind, and always willing to give advice, organise a taxi or bring us a lovely treat from her sister's bakery. Would highly recommend to those looking for proximity to both town and the beach, clean and spacious rooms and a bit of peace and quiet!

Fantastic little homestay, especially for the price. We were blown away by the size of the room and the size of the bed and the big bright windows. Very clean and comfortable. Perfect launching point to get to Cua Dai beach, look up 'Beach Waves' on google maps, right next to Hidden Beach, just as beautiful as An Bang but completely out of the way. Also check out the local market just about a two minute walk away, completely devoid of tourists in the morning, go grab a bowl of pho for 20kVND. Great service beautiful place absolutely recommend!

Staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Great place for a few days or a week. Close to the beaches and restaurants. Would return here for sure

Hey Long. I’ve been in the middle of this monsoon in Vung tau. I’ve just written the review and here is a copy. Talk soon. Mark I came to Vietnam to recover from recent shoulder surgery. After 15 stays in Hoi An over 8 years I opted for a sea change and found Tri Tran on TA. Wow. Within minutes of booking online I was contacted by the owner, Long, asking if he could assist in transport or anything else. Perfect. Long and his staff, Dung, Tran and Hoa could not have been more helpful. I chose a balcony room which was fantastic. Big and clean, the bedding was so comfortable and the bathroom was ideal. Free bicycles are available as well as beach towels and other conveniences. Tri Tran is ideally situated within 50 metres of restaurants, street stalls and the local market. A short walk of a few minutes gets you to main Cua dai beach or one of many beach restaurants. With the new bridge diverting a lot of traffic from the town, Cua dai has returned to an idyllic beach village.
