I am staying at this hotel long term (possibly for ten months and I am in my second month); it is not a five star hotel, so I am not sure how they designated themselves as such so don't be delusional when you book to think that it is a five star. It is a mega hotel with lots of domestic tourists. So you will hear lots of music throughout the day in the lobby, with weddings and large parties arranged in the mezzanine level. This is all fine if you don't use the lobby much or can find a time when it is not loud. Lobby is not air conditioned very well. The breakfast is mediocre at best, but fine if you only need eggs, everything else is boring and repetitive (and not very good). That's pretty much the negatives. The room service is actually very good if you order the VN food, cheap and prompt and reliably consistent. The staff are generally nice and courteous without being pushy. The bell guys are great and very helpful as well as the lobby cafe staff. The rooftop cafe is boring, staff can be dismissive and arrogant (which is weird; maybe level of courtesy goes down as you move up the elevators); the swimming pool closes at 8 pm, which is disappointing and they will try to kick you out at 7 so they can clean, but you need to tell the receptionist this. Overall, the hotel is fine if you keep to yourself and don't expect much. Other guests can be crass (local tourists, new money people with no sophistication but think they are at an ultra luxury hotel when in fact it is simply an average hotel). Rooms are very clean, air condition is the most powerful I have ever been in anywhere.

We took the Victoria River Cruise from Cai Be to Can Tho. We arrived about 10am at the Resort on the second day and our transition from boat to hotel room was seamless. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was exceptional. The River Cruise was really impressive. Highly recommend the two together.

I have stayed twice at this hotel in one month! The hotel was recently opened so roomsa re nice and brand new. Located near Can Tho's Cai Khe market and major restaurants and eateries, the hotel offers easy access to all major attractions and food experiences! One of the best attributes of this hotel is its room. They're big, nice, and elegant! Staffs here are very friendly and helpful, from the security guy to the receptionist, they all made you feel at home and genuinely caring. Hotel rate is also very competitive with others of same category in Can Tho.

Nothing bad to say about this hotel except English ability of some staffs. Howerver, this place is really amazing. It looks like a resort next to the river and has a huge coffee garden. The restaurant besides the hotel has alot of strange sweet water fish...highly recommend this hotel for cheap price and location for a long stay or holiday with family.

Neta Hotel is located in the city of Can Tho. It is situated at the end of road next to the river. It provides a scenic view of the river and street. I happen to get a view of the street so my rating is one star down. The carpet in my room was stained, however other rooms seems to be cleaner. The surrounding area is next to a night market that service fresh sea food that is cooked outside. The staff is friendly and speak good English.

No complaint about room or hotel facility. Could see that Fortuneland is a new hotel, do love my room and enjoy my stay there with nicely staffs. However, the breakfast should be improved to be the true 4 stars hotel. I am just a bit surprise since could not borrow just an iron from Hotel.

Very, very good. The deal through Agoda was unbelievable when I look at the quality of the hotel. Looks very new and has been built to a high tourist standard. Maybe 2 little points for improvement. At night the staff that is around speaks english poorly and the breakfast is a bit sparse. Remember that these 2 items are nothing compared to the incredible value for money here. I've been around and I never had a hotel this good for such a low price!

The hotel is nice, quite new and clean. The room we stayed was not supper spacious but was OK, one queen size bed and one double bed (we were 3 people). We booked a triple room and requested for 3 beds, but when we arrived we were given the two bed room, so we asked to change to a 3-beds room, but the girl at front desk said we had to pay $13 extra per night for the 3-bed room with no window. We asked to see the room first, but she didn't understand us, she speaks very little English, so she called another girl with a little better English. And after we went back and forth she said we could have the 3-bed room without a window, but this time she said she we had to pay $5 extra per night so we demanded to see the room, finally we were taken to see it. It turned out to be awful (very smelly and not clean), so we decided to take the room that given to us before. They gave us 2 set of everything, e.g. slippers, towels so one of us had to go down to tell the front desk (calling wasn't going to work due to limit English), even with face to face conversation they still didn't understand so we had to take a photo of slipper and towels to show them that we wanted one more of each. They gave us one more towel, but not slippers, I went to ask again so this time they gave me a pair of slippers, and the next day, when we came back the extra pair of slippers had gone, we had to asked again and it happened like that for the rest of our stay (we stayed 4 nights). Breakfast for out first day was by order, we could order either eggs or noodles. The guy and the girl at the restaurant speak even less English than the girl at the front desk so.... we had to point to the food we wanted and not speak a word to avoid confusion. After the first day, the breakfast was buffet which was a lot better although the food is the same everyday. So... overall it good. If the staff speak a bit better English I'd think the hotel will do a lot better.

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights and we were treated so well! Where winterspring really stands out is with the customer service, attention to details of making our stay incredible and the excursion to the owners home town where his mom and sisters cooked the most delicious lunch, we got to pickfruit in the orchards, walk in the rice paddies. So far on our trip, the floating market and countryside visit was our best day. Also, the desk booked our bus tickets for us which was incredibly helpful.

Our room with 3 separated beds was very large and totally clean, everything looked pretty new. The wifi was not the best but still ok. The receptionist was so nice and helped us with everything: taxi from bus station to hostel, booking our private tour at the floating market, booked us a bus ticket back to HCMC,.. it was even possible to get our breakfast at lunchtime as we went to to the floating market super early in the morning. To sum up, the service was pretty awesome and it was definitely worth staying here, we would definitely come back and recommend this hostel.

Stayed for three nights in Double room. Joint is old and looks a little run down. But rooms have quite good facilities and everything worked in my Room. Not having a Breakfast was a "Con". Big Thanks to Thau on Reception !!!

We were treated royally from the start at the Holiday Hotel. SReception staff greeted us with big smiles every time we passed through the lobby and were quick to offer us drinks or arrange taxis. They were so personable and friendly that language problems did not matter! Our room was wonderful - actually we had two rooms. Both had excellent air conditioners that were very quiet. One room had a desk top computer with huge flat screen monitor complete with camera and microphone and four chairs with end tables. The bedroom was large and had a big flat screen TV built into the wall. The bathroom was the only "strange" thing. The shower was big with a double shower head, one the rain forest type. We always had lots of hot water, but found it odd that the toilet was inside the shower stall. A wet, slippery shower floor could be of concern when using the toilet. As well, in the night we always had to be awake enough to remember to step into the shower! However, small inconvenience compared to the positive aspects. Breakfast was very good. Weekends have a breakfast buffet with lots of fruit and both western and Vietnamese dishes. During the week breakfast was ordered off a menu so there was less variety, but it was more than adequate. The market is just out the front door of the hotel and the river front area with many good restaurants and lots of evening activity is only a $2-3 taxi ride away. This hotel was definitely the best value for the money we have encountered. Only complaint we had was the man who approached us when we were checking in and tried to sell us boat trips. He claimed to be with the hotel, but was not. Fortunately we told him we needed time to get settled before making any decisions. We found the same ones he offered for half the price he offered.

They overbooked and even though we got confirmation on email they tried to tell us that they didn't confirm. After a long discussion they suddenly have the exact room available. Can not recommend at all. Unfriendly staff and the poorest service we've come across. Can NOT recommend!!! Stay away!!!

about 2 kilometre walking distance to the riverbed and the ho chi min statue and restaurants. breakfast was probably nice if you are from around indochina. not the breakfast buffed we where expecting!! staff was very friendly and really tried to help out, just a little bit difficult to communicate, they speak poorly english but if you are a little openminded you will understand eachother. otherwise good room with big flatscreen tv and really good internet connection. nice and clean toilets. there was a window in the room, but it was facing a wall from the other building just half a meter away.

location is okay as soon you step out of the hotel is a large market, rooms are great, service with a smile, would stay again :)

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very large , clean and comfortable. It's about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. There were enough eateries near by to satisfy us. The hotel had no breakfast and served no food at all. ( No problem ) Upon arrival we were met by a Tour Service lady. ( Miss Thuy Nga , Mekong River Tour Service ) See arranged for a private small boat with a skipper and a tour guide to take us to the Floating markets and we toured the small canals and saw how the people live .This was the highlight of my trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. The cost was 60USD. We were met by the guide at about 6 AM at the hotel and returned at 2 PM. She also arranged to have our bus tickets to Ho Chi Minh City delivered to the hotel ( she also arranged for a small bus to pick us up at the hotel the next morning and take us to the bus station ) The hotel staff didn't speak much English , but, we got by. We very much enjoyed our stay here and would like to have stayed longer. We would stay there again.

I absolutely satisfied with Thanh Tung Hotel, staff , room and so on. It is located near public market and nice coffee shops that are cheap and good tasty. I visted there with my boyfriend, we loved it. clean facility and so kind people. We definitly visit again

This hotel is for vietnamese only. I would not have been able to check in to this hotel without the help of a englishspeaking tourist guide. I normaly enjoy language problems ,but in this hotel they do not even try to understand you. The room was really dirty, but that was not the worst. At night some vietnamese people were shouting and fistfighting in the hallways. This went on and on. Try to explain that to someone who do NOT want to understand you. They could actually hear the noise on the telephone. I teach karate and I feel twice as big as most vietnamese, but this was not my fight and I was here to sleep. And in the hallways I was really outnumbered. After trying my best to order my included breakfast for more than 10 minutes, one of the guests was so anoyed that he ordered breakfast for me, and exused for the way they behaved at the hotel. At this point I wanted to leave for another hotel, but I figured it was just bad luck so I stayed. Next night was even worse, with people banging on my door and trying to break in to my room. Same problem at breakfast next day, wich is incredible, they could have just given me the same as the day before. When I was checking out they wanted to charge me once more for my stay. When I asked for the manager they said no (suddenly they understood something). Instead there came a very angry man who told me to pay. I have stayed in more than 150 hotels all over the world, and this is by far the worst EVER.

We were actually a bit surprised when the motorbike taxi brought us to this deserted part of town. But what a great experience in the end. Staff was friendly and every restaurant or cafe in 5 min walking distance is more than happy to serve you! Even though the staff and guest hardly speak any english they try their best to help you and to get to know you! Will stay there again for this reason!

No major concerns here. Location was good for us though we only stayed for 1 night. They are located right near a big shopping complex and we were able to watch an English Movie in the theatre there. We did not go into the centre of town. Taxi to the hotel was about 50 thousand Dong on the meter. We didn't have any concerns with the female receptionist; infact it was quite the opposite of some of the reviews we saw on here. She spoke English well enough, reserved our bus tickets without commission and even helped us book the river tour. Room itself was OK. Large and airy. Beds were small for a couple but we arn't very picky either. Price was cheap for the room. We would stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights in Can Tho and enjoyed the town very much. The hotel was a good value and a few staff speak enough English to get by. But it's clear that this hotel doesn't get many Western tourists. We chose it because it was modern and new and clean, but didn't think it would be so far away from the riverfront area where 99% of tourists go. The hotels in that area are not a good value or have horrible reviews (or both) but their convenient location may be enough to justify staying there instead. We would walk the 30 minutes or so each way to the riverfront, rather than taking a taxi or tuk-tuk (we honestly saw very few in town anyway). The breakfast is a bit strange, as the hotel has some of the food/drinks brought in from somewhere else and we had to order the food and specify a time to eat the night before. The food itself was OK, nothing special. Be aware that touts may come to the hotel and try and sell you a floating market tour. We took the bus from Saigon and when we got to the hotel, a woman was already there waiting for us. We mistakenly thought she worked for the hotel (what a rookie move on our part!) but in the end our floating market tour was good, but maybe overpriced ($30 for 2 for 4 hours with a guide).

Be careful :the adress on agoda is not right!!it's ca. 1km further down the road.so it's a 45minutes walk to the city center. But right around the corner of the hotel are lots of places to eat&have a drink at night,so you don't have to get to the center. rooms are ok, spacious &clean.the staff didn't speak english,but was really friendly and tried to help ( mostly through google translator). When we arrived they didn't know about our booking&seemed like not knowing agoda. But after some phonecalls everything was figured out and we had a good stay.

The hotel is located at a convenient area, pretty close to the city centre and coach transport station. Pricing is reasonable. The rooms were not luxurious but clean, with lifts to the floors. Free wifi is provided. The staff helped to organise motorcycle rental. Ms Kim Loan speaks reasonably good English, so ask for her. Food and coffee joints are readily available just outside the hotel. The staff helped us to organise the tour of the early morning Mekong River wholesale market with our own boat rather than joining a group. I would stay here again when I come to Can Tho. Can Tho is a nice town for relaxation, shopping, nightlife, food and massage.

We were travelling around Vietnam and didn't stay long in the hotels, but we've seen a lot of them. Phuong Nam B was pretty average. The hotel is located in a quiet and not very touristy part of Can Tho - that was great because we could try local food. There are quite a few nice restaurants around the hotel, but it takes you a little longer to get to the main tourist attractions. Most of the staff didn't speak english and those who can try to sell you all kind of tours. Do not use the laundry service!!!! It was more expensive than elsewhere - and it seemed that they just made the clothes wet. Afterwards all spots where still there, it didn't smell like washing powder and all the clothes were crinkled.

The place itself wasn't awful, and we have stayed in some bad places. The staff didn't make us feel very comfortable when we arrived, and made us wait until there was payment confirmation from Agoda, then tried to sell us trips away rather then showing us to rooms. Generally just didn't have a good feeling from the staff.

nice new hostel in Mekong Delta. room was big and clean. however, they should do something with the smell on the toilet. staff was sweet and booked me a bus ticket. u will get free ice tea anytime u want

We stayed here for four nights and we were very pleased with our stay. The room we booked wasn’t available so the staff upgraded us to a lovely double room, complete with a shared kitchen, balcony, and lounge area. The room was great - big closet, hot shower, cold air conditioning. Breakfast each morning was quite tasty. The receptionists were incredible. They spoke English well. They put up with all of our last minute changes due to my boyfriend’s traveler’s diarrhea gracefully, even attending to our needs at 5 in the morning. We really appreciated it! We would definitely recommend Winter Spring to other travelers.
