One thing I have doubt is that the sign of caution that is written in Indonesian but it has English translation too. This translation I think has typos in it. So, kindly to rewrite that for the convenience of those who doesn't know Indonesian well. Averall, great place and there's swimming pool there. It is opened 24/7 like if you want to go for a swim at the middle of the night, yeah you can do that.

The location, it's great. It's near many restaurants and other basic needs. However, the room quality was far from ok. I've got cockroaches in the bathroom and some mosquitoes in the room, I had to ask the hotel to spray them. It's an old hotel, so you'll expect all the room facilities are old, including towels and linen. The AC made a very loud noise every now and then, it awaken me throughout the night.

My stay in Cakra Kembang at room number 118 achieved a minimal satisfaction due to the surrounding and great performance of the customer service. However, I am dissatisfied with the cleanliness and performance of the housekeeper. This is because we ought to inform the customer service DAILY regarding the cleanliness of the area that we were staying. The first day, we complaint on the dusty cupboard, then they clean it.Then, we complaint on the toilet, only they come over and clean it. It is tiresome for us to keep informing the customer service officer regarding the room condition and made me look like a problematic customers, however, the customer service officers are GREAT and FRIENDLY.

Cheap hotel with great service”
It's been 13 years I have been leaving Yogya since I was graduated. The first hotel I want to stay in is Cakra Kembang because it is located close to Gadjah Mada University. I stayed only for one night but felt of good atmosphere of the hotel. The room is clean and tidy. The only thing I do not like is the shower has no power at all.

I stayed at two different hotels before the Cakra Kembang. I had a positive experience at all 3 of them, but I felt like this hotel needed to be more upfront about ammenities. They had advertised a spa and when I got there was told that it was not built yet. I believe a fitness center too. I got the feeling that after the renovation is done that this might be a great place to stay, but please don't advertise something that is not there yet, as people should be able to know what to expect - especially when vacationing. The best part of the stay was the fact that there were restaurants right there in the area, as well as the restaurant at the hotel.

this hotel had everything we needed in yogyakarta. a good bed, helpful staff (in regards of lending out their phone for free to call a tour-operator, lending us the computer in the office of the hotel staff when we needed to go to the internet, and basicly making sure that we had everything we needed). the hotel also has 24 hour security. not that i think you'll need it in this neighborhood, but it makes you feel more safe. the hotel also has a nice little pool, and lots of international tv channels in the rooms. if i should make one remark, the food at the hotels restaurant could have been better. and maybe wifi in the rooms?

Hotel with unready staff”
Finally we reached Cakra Kembang Hotel, we saw the room is different with the one we saw. The bathroom was totally different, maybe they took the photo from Deluxe room, however, we just stayed Business room only. Air-con was not powerful enough to cover the whole room, and we usually opened it whole day even we are out for visiting. It's weird that they don't provide room services everyday, even we put the "Clean the room" tag outside. We are shocked when we back from Pramanan because, we still saw our beds, towels remain in the same place. We highlighted this to hotel and they called us when they prepared to come for room services. This is encouragable. However, the breakfast that provided was fulfill our needs, at least they changed some in the next day. Swimming pool was slightly dirty and i don't think they clean it on time, as there is raining season over there. They probably think there is no use to clean because it still dirty again. Thanks god, the room is facilitated with cable tv, so at least we still can enjoy our chinese show while we are no where to go at night. Its location also ok since we can just walk around 1-2 km for the Transjogja Bus terminal.

Lovely hotel for affordable price”
at first, we thought that the hotel would be old, since the price is quite cheap. then, we were surprised, that it was beyond our expectation. the hotel is very nice, lovely, with the touch of javanese style. yes, the rooms are standard, and bathrooms too. but they are all neatly tidied, and clean. ac is functioning. breakfast is typically indonesian and western style. i would stay again in this hotel for sure !

This hotel is definitely not a high branded and famous hotel. However, they provide an excellent package. Even though it looks old, the location is handy and the parking lot is wide. They serve us well. When the aircon in my room was not cool, they switched me to another better room although it was already 10pm, then they put an out-of-order label in the front door. The breakfast has a good variation as well. I love their 'gudeg'. Moreover, they got a decent swimming pool for kiddies. I spent a good times with my kid. One more thing, the price is considerably low. Overall, I enjoyed my stay in this hotel a lot.

I enjoyed my stay at Cakra. The room was big, clean and nice with good aircon. Good bed. The hotel restaurant was great with good choices. Friendly staff that spoke english. Good pool, in very quiet surroundings. The hotel is a good 30 min walk from the downtown area and Malbororo street with all the shopping.

I asked for a quiet room and was given a top floor corner room which was peaceful the duration of my stay except on Sunday when many families with children woke up and were in the pool early. The room was spacious. Although there was a funny smell which I was willing to deal with (bought air freshener) since the room was so quiet. Good value for the money. Cute property.
