Korean residence”
Don't missunderstand it. This is not Hotel. This is residence. Many small kid playing on the floor. Almost customer is everyday clothes. Morning breakfast is very noisy by housewife and kids chat. But it's OK. Here is residence. If you want to stay "Hotel", you should not stay here. I strongly recommend to use InterContinental Hotel.

Beautiful cityview on 54th F”
calidas is placed on the top of the highst building in hanoi. you can enjoy the beautiful cityview in your room. every room has their kitchen and laundary machine incl. dry machine. it might be goog for businessmen for long time business trip. the building was built in 2011, so every facility is new and free from insects. the restorant on 47 opens only for breakfast. it was one of the best hotels in my past business trips.

This hotel set up this year(2012)for land mark building in Hanoi city. Hotel/Residence, apartment,shopping mall, office..etc can use all convinience life. But so far from down town even though short distance from airport. Near this hotel, location of Trunghoa, Mydinh new town. This area have many restaurant/cafe for foreigner.

Bad location with great rooms”
Calidas Landmark is faraway from the Hanoi CBD. Though 8-10 kms only, with Hanoi traffic it takes much more time than usual. makes no sense to stay here if one has their work in CBD. Taxis demand more to come to this place sometimes. However, if one has their work around the same area which seems to be planned one, I recommend this hotel. Breakfast is same every day but a decent spread for sure. Lightning check inn! Washing machine and dryer in the room with Vietnamese user manual! Changing two lifts to go to room amuse me still! A service apartment partially converted to a Hotel.

Impressive staying with beautiful night view”
actually i lived 2 years at hanoi in vietnam by work. and so i know very well vn than other customer. this hotel is more valuable (cost effective) and compatable than another 4 or 5 grade star hotel in hanoi. i stay king bed in studio which is arranged some material for cooking and laudry.

Nice but sparse on decor ”
My wife and I were having a getaway and we wanted to just park our car and disappear for a while. We saw a movie, had dinner, went shopping and made it back to our room without ever leaving the building. In the morning we had a wonderful buffet breakfast. My wife was celebrating her birthday and I let them know about it and there was a beautiful cake in the refrigerator. These are serviced studios more than they are a hotel room. Rooms were nice size with a kitchenette. The only critique I would have for the place is that it needs more paintings, plants, or anything to spruce up the image. Felt a little sterile. Overall a great night sleep with a great view from the 59th floor. Another minor inconvenience is having to take 2 different elevators to get to our room. The fitness center and swimming pool (we didn't use) are 5 star. Too cold to swim and not enough time to work out in the fitness center. I would come back for another getaway.

Treat in Hanoi”
Room was great, particularly grateful for the washer and dryer in the room to reduce effort when we got home. Not all the facilities listed for the loxal amenities are open yet, which was irritating but by no means an issue. Located around 20 mins taxi outside central hanoi, which was cheap enough to get to but would not want to do that every day if there for a holiday.

Very nice hotel, good facilities but some issues”
We booked a 2 night stopover in Hanoi, and this hotel seemed good value for money. The room was well appointed, clean and good quality with TV and free internet with good connection. The gym and pool facilities were excellent and not too busy. Likewise the restaurant options were multiple, given the hotel is part of a larger development with a mall, recommend the restaurant on the ground floor, excellent food. The lifts are painfully slow though and although the receiption acknowledged my wife's birthday and said a cake was on its way, the cake never arrived! It's a bit of a drive to the main "tourist" city centre and so if doing it again, I'm sure there would be similar quality hotel closer to the city centre. The rooms are more hotel apartments so this is an excellent business stopover or place to stay and work.

Stayed in a room at the top floor of the building and had a fantastic view of this part of Hanoi city. Breakfast was nice with lots of choices. The hotel is right next to a mall with supermarket so plenty of choices for eating.
