Walking distance only to nearby attractions like Independence Palace and War Remnants, nearby restaurants, food shops, etc. The room also is okay, have bathtub but wasn't able to try because of limited time. Swimming pool is small but good if you want to swim

Bad service but great location”
Location is great as it's centrally located in Saigon, near the major tourist sites including Ben Thanh Market. Although the pictures looked nice, the hotel itself wasn't very nice. We stayed in room 8003 and I would avoid this room at all costs. At night we heard loud techno music blasting through the walls from somewhere and were unable to sleep properly. The hotel was somewhat clean. The staff members weren't the most helpful either or friendly.

When we first arrived in HCMC we booked a night here before exploring the country. The rooms were fine (apart from the fact I had booked 2 Premium Deluxe Double rooms & they both were quite different in size, the spa baths weren't hooked up & to use the shower meant that water went everywhere as there was no holder on the wall for it). The hotel needs a little upkeep, but it wasn't bad & the breakfast was good. So we decided to book our last few days back here before we flew home. We booked exactly the same type of room, and yet again we were given 2 different room configurations again. Neither had a bath (which was great), but one had a queen bed & the other had a bed that could have housed a mini full of clowns!! However considering it is a non-smoking hotel (signs everywhere about not smoking & the fines you will incur if you do), we walked into our room and was smacked in the face with the stench of cigarette smoke. It was awful. When I spoke to reception they sent a young man up with a spray bottle of something to spray about AND AN OLD FOOD CAN WITH A TEALIGHT CANDLE IN IT & THE TOP OF A PINEAPPLE RESTING ON TOP!! I kid you not!!! We went out to find some dinner & when we returned, the hallway smelt like a cheap hawaiian pizza, and when we opened the room it was worse. However my concerns landed on deaf ears & it didn't seem like anyone at the hotel cared at all. Also, there is a pool on top of the building, but don't let the pictures fool you. The whole top area is very shoddy. There is a bar which I suspect hasn't seen a barperson in years (considering the dust and garbage behind it). The chairs are grotty, the spa doesn't work, the they have put down fake green grass over holes in the flooring that are big enough to swallow a dog (my friend lost skin off his shin when his foot when through it). If you are thinking about this hotel, you would do well to look at the 'Blue Diamond' next door. Their rooftop area looked amazing as we sat

Probably a 2 or 3 star, old hotel, room was quiet but odd things like a electric jug with wrong plug, hardly any power points, old carpets in hallway with seams showing, breakfast was average no hot tea or butter, no toast just cut bread rolls... Just average hotel, Bed was soft and it was quiet though

The flooring in bathroom is dirty and with mildy. And there is only 1 power socket can be used in the room and located in bathroom. I think the facilities and equipments in the room should be renovated compeletely.

Cheap but convenient”
The location was perfect for getting around the city - I arrived really late night but the staff was friendly when I checked in . The room was a good size for the price. The breakfast and the pool were decent too.

Needs to be better. ”
One of the reasons I booked the hotel was for the pool. The water was like a pond. Another reason I book a hotel is to sleep. There were two ways to close the doors. Noisily (if you did it with care) and noisier if you didn’t care. Breakfast was mainly Asian food. Didn’t bother me too much but they attract westerners so this could be improved. Gym was very grubby and no attention appears to be given to this. Generally needs a good refurb. That said my room was fine. Good location.

Great place - great location”
This hotel is around the corner from the Independence palace & only a short walk to the War Museum. Ben Than markets is at the end of the street & there is a great little coffee place just on the corner outside the hotel. The room was clean, the bed was comfy & the breakfast had really great options. It is quiet of a night time, so no problems getting to sleep. The staff are amazing. I would totally recommend this hotel as a place to stay in HCMC.
