The staff at this hotel were nothing but exceptional from the moment we arrived, everyone from the porters, front counter and Spa centre were amazing. We had stayed at some 5 star hotels during our trip and I can honestly say the service provided at Little riverside was far superior than what we received at other so called 5 star hotels. The hotel is almost brand new, so cleanliness was immaculate, the rooms were beautifully designed and laid out, the bath tub and showers were also well designed and with good quality finishes. So much so that my wife asked that we design our future home in the same manor as these rooms.. I cannot thank the staff enough. Regards, Greg. decoration is quite nice with a lot of details which shows good taste every where! staff are super friendly and helpful, welcome drink and snack are the best among all the hotels i stayed in Vietnam (including some five star hotels). only thing if they can improve is the shower water, maybe my floor is a bit high (10th floor), the shower water is a little weak (but acceptable for sure). definitely i will stay there again if go to Hanoi!

We were here for 3 nights. From the second you walk in the staff are so friendly, nothing is too much for them and they always welcomed you back from your day with a smile. My mum wasnt well while we were there and the staff gave her some giner tea for her throat. little thing like that which could easily be overlooked but the staff wanted to help. The resort was beatuifully designed and very clean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean. the only downfall was that we had a bath tub and if we wanted a shower you had to pull it out of the bathtub and hook it up. the hook didnt have any ability to move so water was going everywhere. mum and dads room had a normal shower so i think rooms with bathtubs had this problem. When hanging out at the pool or in the bar and the staff were there to chat to if you wanted to otherwise they would give you your space. The breakfasts were amazing with so many options available. I would say the this hotel had the best breakfast on our trip. The spa was also nice. the massage therapists were very good. The location of the hotel was also perfect with a 5 min bike ride to the old town area. one thing is they should maintain the bikes a little more. the breaks werent the best and my bike didnt have a bell. The hotel shuttles were also perfect when you wanted to go into town for dinner or have lunch at the beach. we would recomend this hotel to anyone going to hoian.

We booked 3 nights with Agoda and extended our stay with another booking agent . We arrived at 07:00 and were greeted with a good welcome . We knew we would have to wait for our room to be ready so we just chillaxed by the pool . Balconys on one side of the hotel offer an ugly view of the hotel wall next door - about 3 feet away ! That was the only negative . The rooms are modern and spacious with a good selection of tv channels . Breakfast is better than most , with an egg/ omelette and noodle station and buffet inc a selection of fresh fruits and fresh pastries . Free use of bicycles to get around and it is flat and there is beautiful countryside and beach roads to explore - just watch out for other traffic as it can be dangerous at busy times . The location is really good for both beach and town - about half way between both . About 20 mins walk to town . There is a shuttle bus to the beach and town but the service stops around 16:00 . I suppose it may be down to taxi companies not being too happy about running free shuttles in the evening ? The gym is small but has good equipment . Swimming pool is big but doesn't get much sun . There is a spa but even with the discount , it is very expensive by Vietnamese standards . Each early evening , house keeping come round again and freshen up your room and give us complimentary fruit - a lovely gesture that we appreciated. All in all , this has been one of the best hotels we have stayed in during our 3 months travelling thus far . The Staff and service is first class .

The Phu Thinh Boutique Resort and Spa was our favourite hotel in Vietnam. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean, overlooking the pool, hotel garden and the rice paddies beyond. The staff were friendly and helpful…even remembered our names. The hotel is well managed and there is a lot of attention to detail to make your stay enjoyable (flowers in the room, fresh fruit plate). We took advantage of the free bikes to explore the city as well as participated in two programs the hotel offers. We did the cooking class with Chef Tuan which included a trip to the market and foot massage. They were open to customizing the program for us as we had been to several markets and I have very sensitive feet. We did a tour of vegetable and herb gardens as well as a local village and had a neck/shoulder massage. Both were amazing!! The cooking class itself was excellent; we chose from a variety of menu items and Chef Tuan gave us detailed instructions and demonstrations....and they we got to do everything ourselves. We learned so much about Vietnamese cuisine. Our other trip was fishing with Mr. Tung. We went by bicycle (and ferry) to Cam Nam Island. We traveled through a few towns and were able to see traditional wood carvers and weavers in action (with no pressure to purchase). We got to our fishing spot along a river. Locals passed by giving us advice. Unfortunately, the weather had been unseasonably cold and the fish weren't biting. We didn't mind; it was a great journey. Mr. Tung brought us a fish later that day from a previous catch for our supper. We enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra day!

I booked this hotel after much contemplation however it was the best decision i made fer a trip with my girlfriends. We got an upgraded room which was spacious. Location was extremely convenient; about a km away from ancient town. We had our itinerary planned out prior to our trip however we were clueless as all of these were based on reviews found online. Henry was extremely informative and helpful in going through our plans and recommending which was good and which we should ditch. This made it easier so that we did not waste our time on something wasnt thaaat great. Hannah was helpful in arranging our airport transfers and booking of dinner cruise (which we dint manage to attend) all through correspondence over emails. Kevin was great in accommodating to our check out. I felt the breakfast buffet was great except it needed more fruits. Maybe cause we particularly love fruits, otherwise it was a perfect spread. We did not get to use the tempting pool. Amazing stay awesome staff.

Check in was quick and easy- no pretences, efficient. My room was ready which was great and my luggage was delivered to my accommodation. What a surprise! The room was huge and beautiful, the bathroom was lovely and best of all, it was spotless (and I am fussy!) The surprises keep coming too, bed-robes in the wardrobe, and even some slippers (thongs) as well as a range of bathroom amenities, yes, toothbrush, shavers, combs etc..AMAZING. The bed was so comfortable, the pillows were clean and fluffy- best sleep I have ever had in a hotel and I have stayed in MANY hotels from 6 star to backpackers. Plus, the internet was fast and reliable. Breakfast was fine- eggs anyway and well catered for. The pool is a welcome reprieve from the heat and the pool bar was well utilised with David making a range of cocktails we happily worked though. Look, its got a few oddities, ultra slippery tiles around one side of the pool (not sure who thought that was a good idea!) and you do at times need to get

Smartly dressed, friendly, helpful reception staff and much needed cool drink supplied on check in. Loved the large room wih separate seating area. After a day out sightseeing it was relaxing to lounge on the sofas on porch with cool drink. Made good use of bicycles which are supplied free, to explore the beach area and Cam Nam Island. Enjoyed the breakfasts, plenty of choice with freshly cooked eggs pancakes etc. Only complaint.. Was difficult to work out the system and drinks on offer for 'Happy Hour' not as good an offer as let to believe from adverts. Quiet location with easy access to Old Town.

The location of the Lantana Riverside just outside the bustle of Hoi An was perfect for us. A short walk along the river each morning gave us a chance to get a feel for Hoi An's natural beauty and experience some of the less commercial aspects of the town's life. The hotel itself was immaculately equipped and furnished with great views over the river. But the best features of our stay were twofold. Firstly the staff provided an attention to detail which meant that we felt superbly welcomed and wonderfully cared for throughout our stay. Everyone took great pride in making us feel at home, knowing our names, and treating us as though we were their only guests. Secondly, the breakfast was just fabulous and set us up for the day, We eat just Vietnamese food throughout our stay and this was a feast! As well as this, the little details which make a holiday flow easily were always uppermost in the minds of the staff: like booking a river trip and taxi transfers; or locating ATMs. Yes !!!

Our stay was just perfect. As soon as we walked in we were greeted with lovely smiles from all. We extended our stay by 4 nights, we didn’t want to leave. Miss Chau on the tour desk is the best. The pool is awesome, the breakfast buffet was amazing. Every staff member knew us and what we were doing or had done during our stay. We just can’t rate this place high enough and we already look forward to our return.

Very good, it's a big surprise, hotel room fantastic and stylelic, pay attention to all details, nice pool, location good, walking 10 minutes to the old town part, Reasonable price for airport pick up, wanted to extend, but the hotel is fully booked, the only thing is the room on the street side is noisy because of the motorbikes which is common in Vietnam, so I changed to the inside facing the pool with nice small balcony, really enjoyable time spending in the hotel

Just the right distance from the craziness of "down-town" and just far enough away from the honking horns to ensure a good nights sleep, the Banana Garden Villa offers the best balance of location and a quality stay. But, it is the superb staff that make this a property one I will be sure to return to. If it were possible I would give them 10 stars for sure. Thank you!

We stayed here for 7 nights and really enjoyed it. We have been to Hoi An quite a few times and have stayed at many hotels and guesthouses; this place definitely stands out! We are all vegan and their breakfast buffet offers only limited vegan options but they cooked something for us everyday and even bought soya milk for us! All the staff is very friendly and try to help with whatever you need. One of the best things about this hotel is the stunning pool and relaxing They offer free bikes and a regular shuttle bus to the old town and An Bang beach. If you’re looking for a relaxing hotel with great service, look no further!

From the fantastic front desk staff ( Xuan and Dieu) to the lovely large clean room with the very comfortable bed/pillows and the amazing bathroom every thing at this hotel was pretty much top notch. We had a huge balcony overlooking a very nice pool and rice paddies. Decent breakfast, not a huge selection but what they did put out was fresh and tasty and eggs to order. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown but you can walk (20 minutes or so) and grab is available and cheap. The only negative that I can mention is that the gym and the equipment need to be updated and that is why I only gave the facilities a 4 star. I would highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Hoi An city. We spent 3 days there before moving to a beach hotel for 5 nights and my wife and I wished that we had done 4 and 4. I came here for 2 nights with my 2 girl friends and all we could say is, this is a great choice for tourist who come to Hoi An. The location is perfect. By taking the free bicycles provided by the hotel, you'll arrive at the Hoi An Ancient City in less than 5 mins. Plus, the hotel is quite near with Post Office (if youre a postcard junkie). The room (and toilet haha) are big and worth the reasonable price. We could fit 3 people in a standard room, which is very affordable. Above all, my friends and I love the hospitality and the friendly staffs especially Jim. "Cam on" Jim! The staffs made us feel at home. Thank you so much for your warmness, Vaia Hotel! Definitely will recommend this to our friends and fellow Malaysians. Hen gap lai :)

Mình đến sớm nên ngồi chờ check in được mời nước cam với dĩa trái cây xinh xinh. Điều tuyệt nhất là view phòng để ngắm bình minh quá rực rỡ, chỉ cần dậy sớm Đây là lần thứ 2 mình quay lại Hội An nên cảm ơn Four Seasons đã cho mình chuyến đi trọn vẹn như mong muốn

Our 8 night stay at hoi An Chic was wonderful on every level. It really was a pleasure. Initially we were due only to stay 7 nights and move on for our final night to Da Nang. However after the hassle of not being able to confirm availability of late check out at a very expensive top Hotel chain in Da Nang we decided to stay where we would be welcome! All the staff are incredibly nice and interested in you as individual's without being too invasive. The design and layout of the hotel and rooms are superb, beautiful grounds,loved all the light from the windows. Blinds keep the sun out at dawn, sounds from the neighbouring houses not an issue. You feel very much as though you are away from the hustle and bustle of Hoi An which is nice. It's a retreat to rest, re-energise and relax. The bath is beautiful and lovely to share on a wet day. Breakfast was always nice, opting for the noodle soup mostly seemed the best option. Although the egg's cooked to order were always nice. They have done the best they could with the design/location of the pool, however can be a problem if every guest wanted to use at the same time. Would gladly stay here again on every visit to Hoi An and would recommend it to everyone we know.

We wanted a relaxing place to stay in Hoian for our last week of over a month in Vietnam and this place is the best. There are 15 villas and ours was spacious, new and very relaxing. East West Villas is about halfway between the beach and old town so about 1.5km either way and we hired a motorbike which made it simple. The villas,pool and surrounds make this a luxury hotel and although rated at 3.5 stars should be much higher so you get great value for money. All of the staff are happy and can't do enough to make your stay special. We had cocktails daily which are very cheap, strong and the breakfast has an excellent cold and hot selection and they will serve to your room or by the pool at your stated time. We actually booked a few extra days and stayed for 9 days when we saw how beautiful it and the staff were. The reviews on East West say it all and deservedly so. We loved it and so will you.

Such a beautiful space. From the moment we areived the hospitality extended was impressive. The room was a great size, the beds comfortable and all amenities were excellent. The rain shower, was a particular highlight I was unwell when i arrived and the staff did their best to make my time more enjoyable but also had the understanding to do so from afar for the most part allowing meto recover. Due to my illness, i got my days confused and they did everything they could to facilitate a resolution to my error. So very glad we discovered this gem of a location and we cannot wait to returnto experience it properly and at full health next time. My only downside was that i was not here long enough - a lesson learnt for next time. What a first rate property with phenomenal staff. So very impressed, thank you

This was the best of the four star hotels we used on our 30 day break. We stayed 4 days which was pretty much the norm. Obviously not much to do but this is why we selected ,knowing it would be peaceful after the cities and it lived up to expectation and more. The fabric of the building had been well maintained and there were lots of nice touches like flowers on the bed and between the towels. The tropica;l garden was delightful with little water features and lanterns dotted about, giving it a magical feel. At night the pathways were lit with lanterns and burning torches which again added to the atmosphere. The spa was excellent, very professional and tranquil but i think guests would have had more treatments if they had been closer to the prices found outside of the hotel.Staff were noticeably standing around , so if they are being paid why not make sure they have work to keep them busy? Across the river you could watch the men working in the padi fields which was very fascinating . The pool area is lovely and blends into the overal eastern feel of the garden. The hotel cat Minimog will make friends with you if you like but will not bother you if you are not cat friendly. Half price drinks between 12 and 6 on selected items but remember there is 15% to add and they are still above those outside.

My wife and I spent two days at the Aurora Riverside Hotel. The Hotel and the rooms are very clean, the Buffet Breakfast is excellent with a cook ready to make eggs to your liking (the omelet was excellent), lots of fruits, croissant, cereal, a few Vietnamese choices and even nice, crispy beacon. Rare treat! But what make this Hotel so unique is how caring all the employees are, regardless of their position. The staff, from the Front Desk (Thuy is fantastic!) to the parking and room attendant all the way to the construction workers were very smiley, attentive, genuinely interested in having a conversation with us and truly caring that we enjoyed a great experience during our stay. The Customer Service is nothing short than fantastic! And everyone we met had excellent English speaking skills, which is pretty rare to see in most hotel in Asia. Tho, the Hotel Manager, is extremely caring of the comfort and positive experience of the Guests. The Hotel had some minor construction taking place on the floor below us and the noise “disrupted” our late morning nap. Not a big deal. But after mentioning it to Tho, he immediately moved us to a different room, actually upgrading us to one of their beautiful Suite at the other end of the Hotel. He even added a free River Boat Tour as a “We’re Sorry for the Inconvenience” gift. He came along with us and brought some cold beers, as an extra-extra bonus, that we enjoyed on the shore of the river! This is what you call Top Notch Customer Care! We’ve been travelling Asia full time for the last 3 years and Tho is the best Hotel Manager that we’ve had the pleasure to meet. Very professional, genuinely caring and very personable. Thanks to his caring personality, he made our mini-vacation in Hoi An a fantastic experience! We will most definitely be back to this fantastic Hotel several more times before leaving Vietnam!

Our stay at River Palm Villas could not have been better, our group all really loved our time there. The staff were always smiley and friendly and did everything in their power to make our time in Hoi An perfect. I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the young lady on reception but she was a credit not only to herself and the hotel but to the whole town of Hoi An! She was always on hand with a smile and a suggestion of a great restaurant, bar or bicycle route. The location was perfect for us; situated roughly half way between the old town (a short cab ride away) and the Cua Dai and An Bang beaches, both of which are really easily accessible via a short bicycle ride through some lovely rice paddies (the hotel are more than happy to lend you their bicycles for free!). The hotel is also situated right on a 'working' river so you are treated to a beautiful view every morning with the sight of local fishermen tending their nets. The rooms were really lovely, spacious and tastefully decorated. The bathrooms in particular are very generous and have a beautiful deep bath and separate rain style shower with constant hot water and good water pressure (a sparse rarity on our travels around the region!). We were also lucky enough to get adjoining rooms for our group and therefore had an additional 'living room' between our bedrooms. And the breakfast was superb! A good choice of both western and Asian foods are offered and whilst there is a buffet of fresh fruit, bread and pastries the chef also cooks you individual choices of eggs, noodles soup, spring rolls etc and the waitress is lovely and very attentive to your needs. All in all we think that the hotel was great value for money and would definitely recommend it to all travellers. It is vastly underrated and I can honestly say that in my opinion it is better than many five star rated hotels I have stayed in! Thanks for making our stay so great, we would love to visit again some time!!

I've stayed at two Hotels in the Saigon chain. Given my experience at both of these I wish I'd paid that little bit extra and stayed at more. These hotels are in the process of being gradually upgraded and renewed. Some of the comments made about them, like a little tired and in need of a make-over written in guide books are possibly a little out of date. However if one combined all the good features of both hotels one would get a hotel that provided everything one would accept as natural in a five star international hotel circa 1980 plus good and free internet. If one conflated the not quite so good aspects one would get a just makes the four star category circa 2010. Overall the Saigon Catnho would rate as a good four star hotel with excellent staff. The breakfast finished a little abruptly and the buffet faded away for latecomers, but in its early stages it was vivid, varied and interesting. For latecomers it was flagging a bit, hence a couple of critical comments in other reviews. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. The A/C is efficient and unobtrusive. Another advantage is that it seems to be that little extra 60cm higher than the surrounding streets and so avoids the almost Venice like very high tide floods that climb up from the river. Well worth considering, I would go back

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The lady owner generously upgraded our room with the pool view on 2nd floor. The room was so fantastic! All interior deco was of a very high standard. You would expect to see this high quality interior more in a 5 star hotel. The bed was really comfortable, so it was very hard to get out from it. (We have been traveling many countries, but this one was seriously the best one!) The hotel offers free bicycles, so you can easily get the old town in 5 mins with them. It's a very easy route once you get used to it. Nearby the hotel, there are small mini marts, restaurants and new massage centers. It was very sad that we only could stay for 3 days.

Me and my husbamd are traveling for one month in Vietnam and until now this hotel with the staff was the best that we found. Super clean!!! The building is Completely new Very comfortable bed Huge bathroom Amazing staff with very individual approach to each guest and his requests at any time, helped us a lot with exploring the Hoi An city and the villages around it with a motorbike and many other services like finding the best flight tickets to Cambodia, shuttle to airport of Da Nang and many more... The names of the ladies who was helping us were Pearl , Amber, Sapphire and Jade The hotel also have Big swimming pool Small gym Big bar on the pool and one more inside the hotel Excellent spa And 20m of a marvelous breakfast buffet with a fresh Patiseri , brown bred, many salads , yogurt and many jams, 6-8 dishes of hot baked food, omelets done in front of you as you wish it to be done , good coffee and many more The hotel is 5 min driving and 15 min walking from the old city of Hoi an So for us it was best value for money so far in Vietnam.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Hotel + room style is very classic old colonial and very spacious rooms. Location is great for us, with short bus rides to either the old town or beach, with complimentary regular bus runs to both provided by hotel. The pool is lovely and our boys really enjoyed playing in it. The hotel provided complimentary bikes, and you can takes lovely cycle rides into the country side from trails behind the hotel - no need to go onto the main roads. Breakfast was one of the best we had on our trip, well deserved of 4-star rating. Highly recommended.

You will not regretted staying in this new hotel. Owners are very friendly and helpful and work so hard to make sure your stay is like being at home. Breakfast and homemade juices are great. We stayed in a family room. The room is mega spacious. Swimming pool is clean and kids enjoyed it very much. Free bicycle where you could cycling around definitely make everything so close by. The location is only 10mins from the old town which is great. My son had a high fever one day and the owners arranged a doctor visit to the hotel. The caring of staffs always making sure my son is well are priceless. They even making lemon honey juices for my son and takeaway breakfast as we depart very early. One of the best hotel we stayed so far in terms of value and family feels. Even better than the 5 stars hotel we stayed before.

First of all, the Earth Villa Hotel is beautiful, super clean and very cosy. But what really separates this place from all the others is the staff. From our arrival, they hit the perfect balance of being friendly and helpful without being overbearing. Their English was by far the best we had experienced in Vietnam. Another major point is that at all times they had our best interests at heart. All their recommendations, their advice was like from fellow travellers. Can't ask for more than that. And it contrasted so bright to the numerous other places where the local staff, despite acting like our best friends and despite us giving business to them, tricked us to the benefit of random local sellers and made us feel like cash cows. No such thing here. The staff also organised so many bookings for us with such ease, including flight tickets for us, that we were left seriously impressed. All in all, Earth Villa made each of us feel like treasured and valued guests - easily the best hotel we stayed in throughout our whole trip. I recommend it wholeheartedly.
