We stayed here for 4 nights when we were in Hoi An. We absolutely loved Hoi An Silk Village - it has been the best hotel we have stayed in during our Asia trip so far. The service was over the top - the staff was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to help us out. They knew it was our anniversary and the first day provided a cake and flowers for us in our room. The rooms were new, clean, wonderfully decorated, and the bed and air conditioning were perfect. We also loved the shower. Having free bikes to ride to town and use during the day was great as well. They also have an awesome pool and a free shuttle to the beach and their own private area with chairs and towels for you. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. Overall, everything about our stay here was positive - we would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Hoi An. High value for the cost of the hotel. Thank you Hoi An Silk Village for such a positive experience and for your incredible service! You all are doing a wonderful job.

We stayed 4 night in Aug. as summer holiday,the location is in rice paddy,lotus flower in the water.So peaceful,but there is no great wall with local people residental area,so that no feel the isolation which is like luxuary resort hotel on the beach .Of course,luxuary hotel is ok on its nature,but Allamanda has both resort villa and local.My wife and mon in law enjoy free spa everyday,my kids won't go outto the town because they are satisfied within the allamanda... Would recommended!!

I really recommend this hotel! I stayed at this hotel with my 8 relatives including 5 aunts. Eight out of eight of us were satisfied and want to stay here again if we come back to Hoian. The room and bathroom were wider than I thought and really clean. The swimming pool is a little small but the water is clean so we used it twice. Swimming in the night sky was so romantic. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Each of us ate more than 2 bowls of breakfast, saying, "I have no appetite." Hahaha. There is a tree of Star Fruit(Carambola) in the yard. It was delicious so we kept eating. There were free bikes, but we didn't ride because we didn't have time. Also, there is a local street restaurant one minute walk away from hotel and the price is cheap and delicious. We ordered 10 bottles of Tiger and a variety of foods, but it only cost about VND 500,000. The owners are so kind and have a baby about 2 years old. She was so cute. We really recommend Full House 2 Villa!

What a lovely setting, a walk from the chaos of Old Town and also Close to the beach and vegetable gardens. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and comfy beds. But the best part is the family ownership--they all treat you so kindly and are truly helpful to make your stay comfortable. Loved the day we rented bikes to get around and explored the beautiful areas beyond the tourist center. Recommend highly!!!

This homestay is by far the best we stayed in throughout our 2 months of travelling. Although the mother and father's (fathers is slightly better) English isn't that good they really really try their very best and if all else fails they ring their son up and allow you to speak to him. The family are very very friendly, offered us a free meal and even had a drink with us. The breakfast cooked by the mother is amazing!!! The son (I didn't ask names and really wish I had) was very accommodations always asking us if we wanted feeding and brought some fantastic sandwiches!! The free bikes with this homestay are a huge bonus. It is slightly out of the old town, but walk-able, however the added bonus of this was making it closer to the An Bang Beach. The room was very large and the bathroom had a bathtub which was something we hadn't come across on our travels. Very clean as well and the mini bar is so cheap that ours was about re-stocked every day!! There is some building work being done which did wake me up however the other guests we spoke to weren't affected so we guessed it was above our room however we booked an extra 4 nights (or there abouts) with this homestay, and stayed in the same room, which I believe says it all. Nothing but praise for this family. Thank you for allowing us into your home and making us feel very welcomed!

This homestay is very clean, all beds are made with fresh bedsheets and towel is included, the room has air conditioners, very nice! I was lucky, the only guest during my stay, since there is only one bathroom to share, can't imagine when the house is full. The location is away from the Ancient Town, about 1.5 KM, but you can use their bicycle free of charge to get to town, it's a quiet place.

We had an excellent five days at this home stay, we ended up staying longer because we liked it so much. It has only been open a month, the building is new and the bedrooms and bathrooms are roomy, spotless and really comfortable with all amenities you would expect. The location is great for getting into town and to the beach, only a 5 minute cycle to town or 15 minute cycle to the beach with the free bicycles available in the lobby. The staff went out of their way to help us with our trip, organising moped hire, bus tickets and even last minute lunches when we were rushing out! Can't recommend this place enough, if we ever came back we definitely stay here - although likely to be booked up once it gets popular I'm sure!

An fabulous homestay that was more like a 5 star hotel! We received a lovely welcome from the family when we arrived and they were very helpful during it stay with them. Away from the hustle and bustle situated in a very tranquil location, yet still within an easy cycle ride to the beach and old town. The villa has a delightful little garden area and swimming pool. Rooms were spacious, airy and immaculately clean. Bicycles are provided free of charge. A truly wondeful experience staying with a lovely family

We ended up staying in Hoi An longer than anticipated (one night turned into three), and we had no problem extending our stay at this hotel. Golden Bell had so much to offer - a great, quiet location (very short distance to the city centre and Ancient Town), a comfy bed, and a yummy breakfast with fruit, pastries, and eggs. The family also has an adorable little pup named Happy. To get around the city, they offer free bikes and a moped that is super cheap to rent. We utilized both during our stay! The staff also helped us organize transportation with Motorvina to move on to Hue when it came time to leave - it was amazing! Our bags were picked up from the hotel and taken to Motorvina's office in Hue, and a moped was dropped off for us to make the famously beautiful drive to Hue. The one negative thing - we did not find out until the morning that the airport shuttle service on our night of arrival cost us 15 USD (plus $2 because our flight arrived late at night). That equals the price of another night entirely! Would have been nice to know at our time of booking, as the site simply says that airport shuttle service is included with the hotel. It kind of just felt like we were trapped into paying the high fee (although admittedly, I do not know how much a cab would have cost, so it potentially could have been a good deal). My husband and I both overall loved this hotel - great value and service is provided for what you pay. We would stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed in a double bed standard room with breakfast. We have been travelling for the last 2 months and this has been the best accomodation. The room and bathroom are super clean, it even has a small balcony. The free breakfast was delicious and laundry service was fast. They provide free bicycle hire and Moto hire for 100000 vnd a day. The parents don't know English but some interpative hand signs get the job done. If not the daughter is around most if the time and she will help you with tours and bus services. Highly recommend this place!!!

This place has everything you need. The staff are very helpful and lovely, they can help you with whatever it is. Rooms are big and clean with AC and balcony. Location is slightly outside the city centre(old town) but you can easily take a cab there for a low price. Bicycles are avaliable from full house free of charge, and if you can stomack the vietnamese traffic there is no hazzle going to the beach or the old town this way. Breakfast is good, surroundings are great and the neighboorhood is quiet. Just do yourself a favour and go stay here while in Hoi An.

Amazing building very tastefully furnished and decorated left a great first impression. Very very comfortable beds, beautifully tiled bathrooms with a great, closed off shower. The most well stocked mini fridge ever, at awesome prices. (20.000 Heineken and 10.000 cold Oreos !) All rooms have their own secluded balcony and a satellite TV with tons of channels as well. But this was not the best part of the stay. The host and his family are the epitome of true hospitality always smiling and trying to feed you more and more food (no charge , of course). Seriously the best service I have received on my travels so far. The breakfast menu is incredible, the coffee is top tier as the owner has a coffee shop nearby as well. Stay here and you too will become part of his amazing family for a few days. Best value for money in the whole country

We LOVED our stay at Horizon 2. The room we had was spacious, clean and new. The included breakfast was great (many choices) and the staff so helpful and nice. Cherry on top of the cake: the refreshing pool which was perfect during those super warm days. The villa is a few minutes from old town but, with the free bicycles provided by the villa, it is just perfect. You get to enjoy a calm and peaceful neighborhood and chose when you want to explore the crazy touristy / sometimes too busy parts of town. There is a convinience store not too far away and a few good local restaurants as well. In short, don’t hesitate! Book it!

The family at Golden Bee were just so lovely and welcoming. We loved our stay here. The location is nice and quiet and the accommodation is very comfortable. The owner family is extremely nice and helpful. They go over and beyond what anyone could expect from a hotel / homestay. They explained us everything about the surroundings in Hoi An, suggested us a really cheap but good value trip to My Son (8 USD) and offered good, home made breakfast. But most importantly: We booked a transfer to Hue, that was supposed to pick us up at the hotel but changed the pick up location just the night before departure. The owners were organizing everything for us, talking to the tour company at night and even took us on their motorbikes and dropped us at the new pick up location in the old town the next morning. The facillities of the homestay are really new and get cleaned everyday. The room is big and quiet. The location is a little bit outside of the old town (about 2km, free bikes available at the homestay and Uber also), but therefore the environment is quiet and relaxing. Nevertheless, the area offers still many restaurants or cafes nearby.

Weve since travelled throughout Cambodia, Laos, and Thailand, and Halo Homestay has been far and away our favourite accommodation. The beautiful, bright marble rooms are accompanied with clean bathrooms and comfortable bedding, which gets cleaned and made up daily. The breakfast included has been the best we've had, even when paid out of pocket (get the omelette and coffee!). When we were leaving early for My Son one morning, they even packed us a to go breakfast for the next day. This family truly cares about their customers well being - as indicated by their waves goodbye as we drove off in our taxi. We intended to stay for two nights, but stayed for five. Stop looking now and book this homestay!

We've been travelling almost two months and this has been the best place to stay. Hijal house was clean and new. The family was friendly and place silent and safe. They did give us bicycles for free and booked train tickets. They did also change towels every day and bring more shampoo and soap. Only minus is that if you want to have breakfast, you should order it a day before. I highly recommend Hijal House!!! Hijal House on ollut tähänastisen matkamme ehdottomasti paras paikka. Talo oli uusi ja siisti, huoneessa tuoksui ja perhe siisti huoneemme lattian joka päivä sekä vaihtoivat pyyhkeet. Perheen tytär varasi meille junaliput, pesi pyykkimme ja he antoivat meille pyörät käyttöön ilmaiseksi. Ainoana miinuksena, jos haluat aamupalaa, joudut tilaamaan sen päivää aikaisemmin. Suosittelen erittäin paljon Hijal Housea!!!

Amazing value for money and the location is great, you get a free bike and can ride down to the beach and night markets, rooms are beautiful we stayed in a private double room with a bath and by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! The staff made the whole experience they where so helpful and very friendly, the helped us so much! We booked trips with them, they helped us book flights to Bangkok and even took us to the airport, and invited us for dinner on a last night was great couldn't fault them or the hotel at all, loved it would definelty recommend staying at this hotel ❤️ Thankyou so much for all your help and your hospitality.

Initially planned to stay for 2 days which turned into 17 days in total. The rooms were huge and immaculate with a comfortable bed. Big bathroom - beautifully designed. Very nice swimming pool which was definitely the highlight of our stay. Simple breakfast, though if and should you require something different to suit your needs then do ask as the owners will make something different for you. The kids were nice and would always say hello. Motorcycle rental is available as well as free push bikes. We were sat by the pool at night enjoying cold beer when suddenly a flying cockroach appeared, though the owner went above and beyond to help as he went out of his way to catch it. He also gave us a mosquito bat which was effective in killing them. The owners bought a birthday cake for a fellow guest at the homestay which was a wonderful gesture. My girlfriend recommends the vegetable spring rolls as they were delicious. The location is good as you're not too close to the centre of things which would result in a lot of noise. Renting a motorcycle is recommended as the old town is 5 minutes drive away. You won't find anywhere as cheap as this place. For the price you're paying - it's an absolute steal given its spacious ultra modern rooms plus outdoor swimming pool.

This was the best place I stayed in out of 5 locations in Vietnam. Very clean, modern room, great shower, nice balcony. Lovely swimming pool, big bonus to use this in early mornings or evenings. The best staff you could hope for. Reasonable mini bar prices. Excellent breakfast. And the actual price paid for the room was a steal, this was better than a four star resort at a fraction of the price. Note the location is far out from the Old Town, but they have free bikes. Stay here!

The basil home stay has been the best place we have stayed in Vietnam. We got the private double room,Incredibly clean and spacious and a great bathroom. The owners and staff are so friendly and kind and help you with any thing you need, from food, tours and private transport. Great location, with the best pho just down the road. They offer scooters and pushbikes, ancient town and the city is about a 15min ride away. We would defiantly reccomend this place and can't wait to come back!

This is, by far, the best hotel we have stayed in on our 3 month trip around Asia. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the bathroom is lovely with a huge rain shower head!! However, the main thing that makes this place amazing are the family who own and run the place. I have never felt so welcome in any hotel ever. They are genuinely lovely people who went the extra mile to make sure we really enjoyed our stay...which we did very much!! The hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the main town and is on more of a residential area, which has a nice feel to it. I cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you for a wonderful 4 nights in Hoi An. We will most definitely return to the Golden Horse Villa on our next visit to Hoi An!!!

Located in Tra Que Village, a very nice and quiet get away that still allows access to Hoi An. Great family that you can interact with. I will definitely stay at Nue Que again.

I forgot to take my passport while checking out at this hostel. (Normally the staff always asked to keep the passport while check in) The staff was really helpful, honest and kindly sent me the passport by bus to Nga Trang Thank you

A great 5 day stay with this welcoming and helpful family. Large clean, comfortable double room. Is a 15min walk to the centre, but that suited us, as it was quieter away from all the hustle and bustle. You can hire bikes for VND20,000 and the it's 5mins to centre and about 20mins to An Bang beach. Breakfast is simple but tasty. One of the best Vietnamese coffee's I've had. Highly recommend!

When we first booked it was for location convenience as it was just around the corner from our bus stop from Hue and we only booked one night initially but the staff, breakfast, location and facilities were so good we stayed three! Great value for money with good water pressure, air conditioning, a delicious breakfast and spacious rooms!

This Homestay is very nice! The people is really great. The only one problem is the ubication, the homestay is between the town and the beach, so, you need a taxi, bike or motorbike to move to everywhere. The homestay has really nice bikes for rent but could be a little far with the hit and humedity. If you just wanns relax this is the perfect place, if you are looking for something near to the town, look for something else.

Since the dorm room has only four beds there is a nice family atmosphere. Free breakfast choices are great and love the real Vietnamese coffee with it. Free bikes is a huge plus as there is so much to discover in and around Hoi An. The staff is very friendly. The room and bathroom are clean and the shower is the best hot & strong shower I had in one month in Vietnam. Free towel included. WIFI was strong everywhere. Room has a small enclosed balcony with hangers that is ideal to dry your laundry. Only downsides: The beds are completely exposed with zero privacy and there are no lockers for your stuff. No small bed lamps, only bright neon light overhead. Check your options in town before booking with the hostel (bus, tours, cooking class, etc.), as you are likely to find cheaper deals.
