Solid place to stay ”
If you go in the with reasonable expectations you’ll enjoy it! Definitely geared towards Vietnamese customers. Staff helped us book everything we needed but all in all weren’t super friendly. It was clean just an older style hotel. The pool with a swim up bar is really what made it worth it. The beach front isn’t kept up too well. It’s a decent location- closer to restaurants and the dunes but further from the nicer beach.

Affordable price”
The resort location is OK. We can easily find food and travel to other sightseeing area. The room is big enough but the toilet is quite small. The pool is nice but the pool tiles should be cleaned for better experience.

Hotel with great location, but a bit old”
I book a sea view room. The view is perfect. The hotel is just a bit old, but overall is fine. There is a seafood stall setup by local on the beach. Cheap and good!

Not very clean even a first day.”
I paid for the most expensive room which more expensive than the 5 star hotel room we previously stayed in Hochimin. But the room was stinky with pee smell in the toilet. Dust is everywhere. The floor is very dirty. I gave a cleaning staff 100.000VND to clean it properly but it didn't work. The breakfast is awful. I would rather have Banh mi outside of the hotel. Some of food are not edible because of rotten smell.

Nice enough”
Booked a delux room with two double beds. The room was spacious with a nice sea view balcony. However the room has no blackout blinds or curtains so soon as the sun is up the room is full of light. The beds and pillows are terrible and uncomfortable.

Don’t bother with the Fairy Stream tour unless you like plastic. The Buddha temple is best done on the way. Get Canary to pick you up in Saigon. Swimming in the sea is not advisable as there is sewage, so use pool.

Bad conditions of room & bathroom”
First room - The rainfall shower set c/w shower head is not function well, water is leaking from the shower head and also from the water pipe which is connected and located behind the rainfall shower set AND THEN the rainfall shower set DETACHED from the wall. Luckily I able to catch it in time before it hit my head! Also, one of the ceiling light in the bathroom is not functioning. The floor of the room was not cleaned properly, full of sand and dust. Requested to change a new room on the same night thereafter these incident. Second room - The rainwater shower set c/w shower head works slightly better, just the water pressure is bad as the water is leaking out from the bottom part of the shower head. The basin tap is not functioning well this time.. Very bad experience..

So much unutilised potential”
- dirty rooms (dusty, sticky) - food quality sub-standard (everything oily) - furniture in bad state, broken pool furniture was just dumped on the side - wet pool towels - they tried to double charge us for a tour that they reserved for us (and which we paid directly to the operator) - hardly any English speaking staff made it difficult to find solutions. - lot of staff seemed untrained With a bit of effort, training and investment, this place could become a highlight in the area.

Advantages: - Swimming pool near the sea - good breakfast food Defect: - Resort has many mosquitoes - Reception is not friendly. - The bathroom door is broken, the toilet is old so it looks dirty! You should not stay here if you are traveling with children!!!

Absolultly fabulous resort...dont think, just book”
this is one of the best resorts to stay in in mui ne. its a little out of the main strip but if your wanting to see both phan thiet and mui ne beach then stay here as they are on either sides of the resort. u can hire a moto from across the road and also if by chance u come down with the flu or something there is a chemist across the street with a friendly helpful owner. by far the best value for money and the resort pool and rooms are in great condition...well maintained. the fresh fruit cocktails are a blast while swimming in the pool and the beach is on your doorstep with fresh seafood available to buy early in the morning directly infront of the resort. i am definitly returning to this place as soon as i can.

Great hotel, beautiful pool and friendly staff!”
we had a great stay at the canary beach! the staff was friendly and the hotel was nice. our room was clean and simple. kind of a no frills joint, but we like that. the pool is very clean and nice. the swim up bar was fun and had good drinks at a reasonable price. the breakfast was pretty good. fruit, eggs, small pastries and a lot of asian dishes. pretty standard for mui ne. we had dinner at the hotel once. it was fine, but the arecca restaurant across the street and to the left is definitely the place to go. it's much cheaper with a huge menu and good quality food. this hotel is quite a way from the main mui ne strip, but we spent two days at a fancier hotel on the strip and agreed we'd have rather stayed to whole trip at the canary beach.

Very nice 3rd time visite”
Location very good to walk around and near the Fairy Stream. Staff always smile and the service was good. The sandy beach is clean (no rubbish) and no stones like the Cliff resort's beach. Restaurant staff smile and play nicely with my almost 3 years old daughter. The pool is nice and clean too. This is out 3 visit and nice to see the improvement done. I would come back to stay here again definitely Pham Thiet is full of Russian for now but with their economic in crisis and their money loosing value it could be good to see less of them in Vietnam or Mui Ne, Phan Thiet.

Peaceful Holiday”
We had 3-day holiday with our parent at Canary Beach Resort. We arrived to Phan Thiet by train and it takes around 25Km from the station to Canary, it belongs to the beautiful resort road of Mui Ne area but it quite far from the center. So it's perfect to rent a bike (just around 8 usd/ day) so we can ride around the Mui Ne area and other neighbor areas. Canary quite small compare to other resort in the area but it's very nice, especially the swimming pool has a beautiful view of the beach, it has a floating bar stay open until 11pm. Breakfast quite good with many local tradition dishes. Internet wifi is quite easy to access everywhere in the resort.

Lovely resort”
i had a wonderful stay at canary resort! the rooms were spacious and clean. we even received a complimentary upgrade when we checked in, so we had a balcony overlooking the beach and the pool. the hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. the included breakfast was fantastic. the resort is located a few kilometers from the main mui ne strip, but i enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the night lights on the Phan Thiet end of the beach which has the more expensive resorts. The rooms are modern, tastefully and comfortably furnished, very clean and well serviced. The pool is a real attraction and is a good size. The buffet breakfast has a broad range of Asian and Western foods to cater for all tastes. A very relaxing week.

Perfect family beach resort”
our family absolutely loved staying at the canary. our five year old daughter cried the day we had to leave. the free buffet breakfast we a selling point for us with our two young children.and they loved that they could go from the beach to the pool. the food was good and the service was very hospitable. the resort was a nice distance from the hustle bustle of mui ne, but we could get there easy by taxi for meals and shopping. we would recommend this resort to friends.

We had a wonderful stay at the Canary Beach resort and would stay there definitely again. The rooms are beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful, lovely pool area and beach. Only if the resort is fully booked the benches at the pool and beach are not enough and it is very busy at the breakfast buffet because they offer breakfast only from 7 to 9 am.

Clean, simple and rustic hotel ”
There are a number of hotels along Mui Ne and you cant miss Canary's big signage. Technically, its 3 stars so you must not expect more. For its worth, the lobby is simple, organized and welcoming. Getting settled in was a breeze. The lift is not the most reliable so we took the stairs instead. Restaurant and breakfast area is on the 2nd floor. Opens till 11pm and has a good wide variety to choose from. Surprisingly it had everything on its menu available even at 10pm at night. Impressive considering we were the only 2 people in the restaurant :) The room is quite standard. Due to space constrain the basin is located out of the shower area and in the room, but its location is subtle enough. A big comfy bed (which is clean and good smelling) a full function air con, great balcony but not the best working TV (but we wont there to watch telly were we!) Overall Canary is a nice place to rest your feet and feel comfy for the day as you head out to the rest of the lovely town to have fun and soak in the great scenary.

This was a fantastic resort. Great big clean rooms seviced daily, very clean pool with the beach only 20 feet away. A awesome pool bar with fresh fruit cocktails served and charged to your room if u so with and good for a single man traveling as their seem to be alot of Russian woman who travel to Mui Ne. Food was readily availabe at the hotel and also in 5 mins moto ride in either direction. You can even hire a bike from across the road. I will be coming back to this place again for sure!!
