This hotel was out of this world for hospitality, comfort, location, cleanliness, value for money, friendly staff, advice and assistance - the list goes on. I cannot rate this place highly enough. The bed was massive and so comfy,the room was clean with all the appliances we needed, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were so helpful and welcoming - they helped organise everything we needed from tours to motorbikes to our trip back to Hanoi. We were a short stroll from all the local bars and restaurants and I cannot get over how reasonable our end bill was. I will always remember this place as being (as it states) a perfect "home from home".thank you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable (room 704 and702)

Excellent staff”
I arrived at Cat Ba and unfortunately came down with food poisoning, so I quickly looked to find accommodation where I would be comfortable for a couple days. They were very kind when I arrived late at night (having left the hostel I had originally planned to stay at) with helping me get to my room, and they made sure I was ok. They also were very helpful and gave me some very plain food the next day (it’s surprisingly hard to find very simple food like plain bread in the touristy areas). They also were very helpful in getting me into a last minute tour of Ha Long a couple days later, as well as organising my transfer to Phong Nha airport and from there to HCM. Thanks so much!

Excellent hostel!”
This hostel was ideal. It is a hotel/hostel so you have a mixture of travelers. The rooms were extremely clean and beds were so fluffy and comfortable (rare in a hostel dorm room). The breakfast was amazing. You get to choose from about 15 freshly made items plus free juice, coffee and fruit. The staff will help you arrange whatever you need (I highly recommend the Cat Ba Green Trails Company they have in the lobby). The location was perfect, central to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice hostel and good value”
Very nice and clean. Basic yet satisfactory breakfast. Not the most social hostel so if you're looking to meet new people maybe it won't be the best fit. Staff was really nice and friendly and the organized trips they offer were surprisingly cheap. Same price that you'll find in the many agencies around town.

Nice and clean room, quite big size. Location is good convenient to downtown area without the noise. Staff are quite friendly and helpful for food suggestions, places of interest etc. i even feel it is better than the hotel we had in Hanoi and would love to stay longer.

Good hotel in the middle of nature”
The hotel is locates near the center of Tam Coc and at the same time in the quietness of the nature. You can rent a bike or a scooter. The staff is really caring with the customers, ready to answer in a second. The rooms and the sanitaries are big. There are curtains on the beds but don't really isolate you from your room mates. For breakfast there is a big choice of food and drinks. In conclusion, you will not be disappointed.

Good place to stay”
The building is not the most beautiful but everything else was perfect. They guy in the reception was super friendly and spoke a good English. The dormitory was good with a comfortable mattress. Breakfast was good too It is not a place where to spend time and meet other guests but for sure a good place to sleep!

Clean place in the center ”
The dorm rooms were clean and the mattress comfortable, they even had an elevator. I rented a motorbike at this hostel for only 80.000vnd. Unfortunately there is just one hairdryer in the bathroom next to the lobby. The staff was very helpful. One drove even side by side with me to the port where his father works and bargained a better price for me.

Excellent service from the staff who greeted you whenever entering or leaving the premise. All their food recommendations were spot on and I really enjoyed my time there. The breakfast provided is also very varied and tasty. I stayed in the dorms and they were clean and nice.

Amazing staff great location”
The room was very clean, huge comfortable bed, tea kettle, nice bathroom, wardrobe and window. Domz at the front desk, was so nice! He went out of his way to show us where to go and really made us feel at home. The breakfast was also very good. Nice selection of eggs, pancakes, soup. Fresh fruit, coffee, tea, fresh milk and juices. We extended our stay here two nights because it was so nice.

Had a very good visit and definitely recommend. Only downside was the shower. There is no division from the rest of the bathroom and the holder for the hand sprayer was loose so you had to be very careful not to get water all over the bathroom.

Pleasant place”
I do appreciate the kindness of the staff & people seem to continually ask if everything is ok. Amidst the Covid-19 situation, it has been noticed that folks are weary. There have been nurses here twice to observe & test if necessary. I voluntarily have been tested twice as a precaution. The hotel owner said he wanted to be proactive and offered test as 2 European folks were discovered to be affected on the island. I rented a bike very easy& reasonably right across the street. It’s a nice quiet place & I’m comfortable.
