Great hotel”
I have been here so many times and I will come back again. The staff are so friendly ...they make you feel so warm like home and besides, the hotel rate was reasonable you could not find anywhere else like this hotel in Vung Tau...trust me .

Only If you like the beach”
Cap Saint Jacques is quite a nice hotel however there are a few concerns. The staff are not helpful at all. The pool is closed and if you would like a swim as we did the staff give you a wrist band and send you off to the local pool over the road oh then when you get there without a towel the pool staff tell you to get one from the hotel... Breakfast is quite possibly the largest buffet breakfast we found in Vietnam however all Asian except for the old faithful omelet - sick to death of eggs.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Hotel is old but the room is not. We stayed in Deluxe Seaview so we enjoyed beautiful seaview from the balcony. The room is large, bathroom is large and kingbed is comfortable. Staff is very friendly. They gave me good suggestions for sightseeing and dinner. Hotel has motorbike rental service Buffet breakfast is poor because of low occupancy.

Captain St. Jacquest”
The hotel is clean and comfortable. The advertising however is more for DICs next door. It is their pool and spa and restaurant on the internet and brochures. The spa at St. Jacques is a bit seedy. Their restaurant is ok and the breakfast were ok too. However, you need to get there early as the food disappears by 9:00. The staff were friendly and helpful, however, I was asked to give up my passport upon check in. All the information, even in the room say there are safety boxes in the rooms, however, there is not. The other disappointment we had was that the bar closed, inside and outside at 10:00 on a Saturday night, bummer! It is a ways from town so there is no night life, however, it is very close (across the street) from the beach area. Taxis are always available for the ride into town.

Good beach location”
Hotel is accross from the beach and has 2 swimming pools. The rooms are nice and the beach views are excellent. The staff is outstanding, very friedly and helpful and there is a very good breakfast buffet; there is also a regular restaurant on site that has very good food. The location is great for the beach but a bit remote if yo want to go to the town.

The location is good and value for money. Initially, I was assigned with room with lots of noise from outside. However, the staff changed room for me. The facilities is clean, but old compared to 4-stars hotel. I will recommend this hotel for my firends

I stayed with this hotel so many times...they did upgrade their room...clean and large room ,only 1 bad thing that there are so many local people , they make so much noises even late at night ...they don't care anyway ...

the hotel is quite old but it is clean. the room is big for the family of 2 adult and 2 children. I can see the sun rising very nice in the morning from my room. crossing the road to reach the swimming pool and the beach.

Staff very helpful when Hubby took sick, organised Ferry trip a day earlier to get back to HCM Breaky is suitable for locals, not westerners Hotel Pool not open, we had to use the Pool over the road, be careful as not tended too during the off season, water does not flow over the rim.

You Get What You Pay For”
The location of the hotel is excellent, just a few feet from the Bai Sau. The room is pretty basic and it needs a face lift, but it's well maintained. The front desk staff is great. All in all, it's a great value for what we paid.

Greatest Hotel Manager in the World”
manager (tho nguyen) went beyound any of our expectations in making sure we had everything we needed. the first thing was to tell us there would be a crowd at the breakfast buffet but to let them know if there was anything the kitchen could fix for us. the next thing was inviting us to dinner with him. our personal server also spoke english well and laughed that we were talking so much our dinner was getting cold.

Not too bad but quite old already”
in general the hotel is not too bad but quite old already. rooms do not really fulfill 4 star standard but the staff is quite friendly and supportive. the hotel is in a quiet area, in walking distance to the imperial beach club and not too far from city center. the only really disturbing thing were the "karaoke events" as the music was quite loud and bothering at night time. in comparison to the service, its overpriced.

Friendlynstaff but need a make over”
Walking distance to supermarket and Bai Sau activities. Quiet location. It is strange that there is no yogurt provided for breakfast. Breakfast is tasted for Local tourists. We booked a suite with two bedrooms but only one bathroom. It was disappointed. We did not know as it was not mentioned in agoda website. Not much thing offered at the swimming pool deck and No beach chair. I consider this hotel is 3 star rather than 4 star. A plus is that Foods in the hotel restaurant is good and the price is reasonable.
