Good Calm & Green Hotel”
It was a good time at Carlton, with Calm, Peaceful & Green Hotel Environment. Hotel rooms & corridors are clean & maintained. But doesnt give the vibe of a 5 star hotel. May it was a five star hotel before but there is no recent upgrade to the hotel interiors to match the modern world. However, overall the stay good without much hassle. Only the problem was that, i had booked for 3 nights but everyday i had to go to reception to reactivate my room card, donno what was the glitch in their system. Location is good, on-site parking is available but for around 10-15cars only. Best wishes to the whole team of Carlton Al Moaibed.

Room, Cleanliness and Location are Good. However Price is similar or slightly higher than what is available in the area. What disappoint me is that they ask me to pay a deposit of SAR 200 in excess of what I paid for my whole stay. I suppose the deposit was for my other extra expenses in the hotel like food and drinks. But when I ordered for food, the restaurant in the hotel is asking me to pay in cash what I ordered. What is the use of the cash deposit. I will not run away with small amount considering I leave my business card and I pay in Cash SAR 2,350 in advance. What is the use of the Cash Deposit.

Old but maintained. Very noisy, they are using Power Generators. I had to change 3 rooms, but the noise was all over. Old sockets, you need an adapter. Can’t set the AC on a specific Temperature, it will keep cooling as long as it’s on. The water pressure and hot water is another story. For me it’s the last time.

First of all, I wrote these comments to make the place much better. 1- plugs in the rooms doesn't work until you put an extension socket. 2- AC is cold good I admire that but it's noisy. 3- Towels need to be replaced, it's done. 4- Gym, I like it variety of heavyweight but with a little touch of maintenance, it will be interesting. 5- We know the place from the test of the foods, I miss it. A lot of thanks.

This is a 3 star hotel at its best. The hotel is very old. The sinks has mold on them the A/C is very noisy. There are no bath robs available although they claim its a “5 star hotel” i got a good deal on it and you get what you pay for!

Not what I expected, i had to wait for 10 minutes just to check in, no staff were in the reception area. I have to wait 20 minutes just to get the other room opened. Same happened with check out unnecessary waiting. Most of the dinner menu was not available, for breakfast I stated that it’s from 6-11 yet when I tried to order they told me it is until 10 ?!

Location of Carlton”
Hotel has excellent location in term of being center to Dammam, Dahran and Khobar. Hotel is one of the oldest in Khobar and that shows in its furniture and furnishing. Staff is curteous and friendly. Taxis are not easy in this location, especially in moning.
