I went for a gig at the o2 academy and location is good for that, about 15 mins walk from station and 10 from venue. The room is basic and the shower weak, could do with simply changing shower head probably. I haven’t used the pool or other hotel facilities. The Wi-Fi was temperamental and I ended up using my phone as hotspot. When I got back about 1am the door was shut and instructions not very clear, however I did find a box on the wall outside in the end, with a phone inside that connected me to the night person. He came down and immediately. All in all it was great for the price but it was December. I imagine peak season it’s different and I would look around first but wouldn’t rule this one out.

Best budget hotel in Bournemouth by far good beds, pillows. my only issue is there is a lt of parking spaces but the parking is diabolical guests parking anywhere blocking access.

Room needed updating but was very clean and bed comfy,had to ask for more pillows which were promptly supplied. Tea/coffee/milk and clean kettle ,always a bonus! Would stay again as it was close to friends and amenities I wanted to visit, overall value,thank you

If you need a spacious family room this hotel is for you. I paid an extremely cheap price for one night in a huge room with my baby. Staff were accommodating and respectful although didn’t help me up theee flights of stairs with all my belongings and a pram and a baby by myself because the lift didn’t work

Last minute booking. Great value for an overnight stay without paying too rates. Was concerned no mattress protector. But would stay again. No breakfast booked as quite expensive.

The hotel was spotlessly clean. The issue I had with it was the dogs and the owners who didn’t care how their barking and howling dogs disturbed other guests, it has made me aware of hotels that allow pets and I will make sure I never book into a hotel that allows them.

Great staff, basic rooms, the mattress was very uncomfortable and the bathroom was very tired and needed maintenance, lamps didn’t work, could hear person in next room clearly, the room was cleaned properly and smelt fresh. It’s ok if you need a cheap room and aren’t staying long!

The location is great, and has free parking for the guests. The staff we encountered were not very helpful, the hotel and room facilities were not explained to us on check-in and we just had to find our way to the room. The room itself was okish, bright, quite spacious and the sheets and towels were clean. The furniture was ridiculously old and damaged. Needs a lot of updating, inside and outside.

Hotel for Coach Tours, No Wifi in rooms.”
Arrived at the Hotel late Evening, was greeted by a large group smoking by the doorway . The hotel was pretty full and the lounge singer was performing with Gusto. Reception was curt. I was escorted to the room by a staff member as it was difficult to find. The room was in the basement (Dungeon), I had to walk through the crowded bar to get to it. There was no lift. The room itself was sufficient and secure, décor ok, but the walls had been damaged and poorly repaired with multiple marks on the walls. A very small window, that received very little light. The weather had been hot and the room felt hot and humid with no air flow. A fan was provided. There was no Wifi in the room as advertised on Agoda, also no outside pool. The Parking was always full, but there is plentiful free parking on road outside. The hotel has entertainment most nights and the tv is volume limited to 30 %, I arrived at 8.30 and the noise from the entertainer drowned out the TV till 10pm.

Title says it all really. As for staff, however, the girl on reception when we arrived was lovely, but the woman at desk on departure was miserable. Furthermore, the room had not been properly cleaned as one would expect, not by normal standards, and certainly not as a result of Covid19. We stayed three nights and no-one made our bed or emptied the bin. We had to collect clean towels from reception, which is fine, but there should have been some sort of explanation on their website that normal services were not included. Indian family who stayed did not respect any social distancing WHATSOEVER.

Noisy. Poorly maintained. Uncomfortable beds. Water pressure insufficient for shower. In fact the only positive was that it was clean, but that should be given! Terrible.
