Exceptional”

We had a perfect stay at Cat Ba Central Homestay. Our host made sure we were taken care of at all times. He also helped arrange a taxi to take us around all day, for a fair price. We had laundry done as well and it was finished quickly. His wife cooks breakfast every morning and made a huge, delicious Vietnamese dinner for all the guests one night. The room was clean and large, and the street was quiet for sleeping. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see in Cat Ba. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting the island!

Friendly home stay ”

This is a great homestay in a convenient location, far enough away from the hustle and noise of the main street but close enough to walk. The owner will take care of all your needs, he organised our transport to and from the island, a great boat trip and we rented a scooter from him also. Brilliant dinner provided one evening to with other guests. Highly recommended. If we return to Cat Ba we will definitely stay again.

Super friendly homestay”

Located out of the main town but not too far to walk. Away from all the noisy backpacker bars. Very clean but the mattress is very firm. The shower pressure isn't great but that is a minor thing. The owner invited all of the guests to a dinner which his wife cooked for us. He was very helpful in organising a taxi and tour for us. It was a good experience and we would recommend to anyone who wants to stay on Cat Ba Island

Lovely stay where locals live”

We had such a wonderful stay here. Very clean and friendly homestay in a neighborhood where locals live (and we love this so we get to experience a more authentic part of the town). We had a very warm welcome and orientation to the area and things we could do. Truong is SUPER helpful with anything and everything you may need. And of course we karaoked at his place too as have so many other travellers before us, it was lot so fun! :)

A home away from home”

This homestay and its owner were very warm and welcoming. It has every amenity you may need for a nice weekend away: it is located a short walk away from the busy and noisy center, a warm breakfast, a king and informative host, a large and clean bedroom. The host was so kind, he had a lot of information about sites to see, he offered lots of recommendation and provided us good prices for tours and transportation. I would absolutely stay here again.

Truong and his wife were so accommodating and the food, especially the coffee were awesome! The facilities are impeccable and every effort is made to pay attention to detail. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Exceptional”

Endroit très calme et très bien situé car proche du centre touristique mais suffisamment à l'écart pour avoir la sensation de vivre avec les locaux. Les propriétaires sont vraiment adorables et très aidant, et honnêtement ils proposent des prix pour les activités ou les transports très corrects par rapport aux autres agences de la ville. Le propriétaire parle suffisamment bien anglais et est vraiment ouvert pour échanger avec lui sur son pays et sa culture. Je recommande fortement.

Toll!”

Wir waren zu viert (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Teenager) im Cat Ba Central Homestay und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Wir wurden sehr herzlich begrüßt, der Besitzer war jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit, die Zimmer waren super-sauber und an einem Abend wurden alle Gäste vom Besitzer zu einem (sehr leckeren) Dinner eingeladen. Was will man mehr? :-)

Sehr sauberes und neues Homestay”

Dank Maps Me haben wir das Homestay nach einem längeren Fußmarsch gefunden. Der Inhaber war leider nicht anwesend, es konnte aber alles telefonisch mit ihm geregelt werden, da seineanwesende Frau kein Englisch sprach noch verstand. Das Homestay ist sehr neu und sehr sauber. Die Klimaanlage musste extra über eine Sicherung auf Nachfrage freigeschaltet werden.Das Frühstück war sehr dürftig. Für ein oder zwei Übernachtungen trotzdem empfehlenswert.
