Great time with my family and friends. Take a long way to get there but it's worth. We enjoy our time there with wonderful view, great private beach & especially free kayak to row around this area- we found a lot of other small islands to land & take a swim :)Really beautiful landscape!!!!

Good because we had a party with our friends but the manager is mean. Only a young guy named "son" was really nice.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cat Ba Cove Beach Resort. The staff were very friendly, especially with our 1 year old son. They were flexible in arranging the times we arrived/left the hotel. They had a boat bring us to and from the beach from Cat Ba Island. This truly is a small beach tucked into a cove with dramatic limestone cliffs behind. If you don't mind a basic but still comfortable wood bungalow, then you will be rewarded with the views and experience. Taking kayaks out in the bay, volleyball, basketball, pool were all available. Only a few hours of wifi and hot water available when the generators were on. We considered booking a few days on a boat, but we are so glad we did this instead. This was a very pleasant place to relax for a few days in the middle of a long and travel filled trip. Not to mention, the amazing views of Halong Bay from your front porch. By far, the highlight of our trip. I hope to be back in the future.

The hotel consist of 9 bungalow. 2 of them for twenty or more young backpackers, who every day arrival for one night. Them don't interest sea, surroundings and beauty of Ha Long Bay. Their aim to drink over and to sing karaoke, to make much noise. At least on my mind it is so. By the way, it doesn't depend from the nation. For three days were swedens, british, americans. Also, didn't like situation with food. Breakfast very poorly. And for lunch and dinner you must pay 10 US$ for each. Not a choice. Although, and dinner and lunch, utterly good! But any way, it doesn't matter. Important, only beauty of surrounding of you Ha Long Bay and its 366 islands. I'll be back, obligatory, in this hotel. Note, if you booking early, will not forget to warn staff by email, they will organize transfer from port of Cat Ba Town to Cat Bang Island. I forget about it and I was forced to pay some people directly in the port. A trifle, but not nice.

Amazing private beach cove.. But food is bad..”

Amazing Location one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.. But it kind of stops there.. We stayed for 4 nights to relax and also to party.. First night there were only a few people and the standard of food was pretty good.. The rest of the time a new party boat pulled in every afternoon with 20-25 people on it and the food was served cold and not so good at all.. The music was repeated every night.. and played until 3am which is fine when you want to party.. The Wifi was on and off but ok I guess for a secluded island.. The staff were very friendly but spoke very little english.. Drinks were expensive, Beds were soooooo hard, no hot water.. And they control the air con power by a switch up at reception, so forget having a sleep in.. Great for 1 or 2 nights no longer..

We had to wait for the boat that was supposed to pick us up even if we already had made an agreement. The rooms were in low condition and we had some problems with the electricity and warm water but the view and beach is so great.

we went here during the holiday week so it was expected to be busy so we booked ahead online. we indicated that we will check in early since we will arrive early to cat ba port. we even called the people in charge to make sure that they are informed but when we arrived there the staff informed us that the earliest check in is at 2:00pm. my friend had to argue with the contact person and they finally agreed to take us to the island in an hour. when we arrived the beach was really nice and our room was located right infront of the shore giving us an amazing view. no complaints about the beach 1. no wifi 2. no bathtub 3. no tv 4. no food /drink variety- you will have to pay for 10 usd per person and you just need to accept what they will prepare. the lunch was okay but the dinner was horrible. cold food. not to mention that the 10 usd/person doesn’t include drinks. the free breakfast means not good quality of food so don’t expect much from this too. all the drinks are in can, no smoothies, no margaritas just beer and vodka. 5. weak electricity- we had so many power outages but since we were always out swimming we weren’t able to count how many times we had this. 6. no fun activities- just an amazing beach with few people, ideal for couples if you want to relax on a private beach then this is the best place to go but if you want to have other forms of entertainment then i suggest that you choose another place to stay. no fun activities here at all, just plain swimming,tanning, peaceful beach and nothing else.

Nous avons eu la surprise de se retrouver dans un endroit isolé (accès par barque depuis Cat Ba en 20 minutes) mais le cadre est tellement beau qu'on a pas envie de quitter l'ile. Endroit idéal pour faire une pause d'un ou deux jours dans un voyage itinérant.

Die location ist wunderschön und einmalig Wird jedoch zerstört von den mitarbeitenden menschen...das hotel arbeitet mit dem prinzef hotel zusammen und die versuchen einen abzuzocken wo es nur geht...das abendessen kostet 10$ und ist schlecht...der hotelmanager ist der schlimmste...wir sind budget reisende haben also keine hohen erwartungen und sind grundsätzlichmit allem zufrieden aber die atmosphähre in diesem paradies ist einfach furchtbar...jeden tag kommen 20 reisende von zu teuer gebuchten trips und werden dort noch mehr abgezockt.....so Wunderschön die location auch ist,so fies und ekelhaft sind die angestellten (hotelmanager) Hände am besten weg lassen man muss viel diskutieren um nicht abgezockt zu werden

Tolles Naturambiente mit Vorsicht zu genießen!”

Man muss unbedingt wissen, dass das Durchschnittsalter der meisten Besucher so zwischen 20 und 25 liegt und viele Backpackers nur für eine Nacht hier her kommen um dann Party zu machen! Das verbindet man mit diesem Ort zuerst nicht, da es eine traumhafte Natur-Lokation ist, mit tollem Blick in die Halong Bay, kleiner Sandstrand (manchmal schmutzig), und einer beeindruckenden Felswand hinter den Hütten! Hier von Rugby spielenden Backpackern mit lautstarker Technomusik ( die die kleine Bucht dominiert hat) empfangen zu werden, war ein gewisses Schockerlebnis!

Мы пробыли на острове с супругой четыре дня. Максимум на острове было человек 12. Один день мы были вообще одни из отдыхающих и пару человек из персонала. Плавали на байдарке по островам, убирали пляж после отлива, когда уже уставали от ничегонеделания. Виды впечатляют.
