Firstly, there are two Cat Cat View Hotels right next to each other, one is being renovated and the other is where we stayed. Upon arrival we went to the first one and I was thinking how could I change our hotel. When we figured out the problem and were shown to the right hotel all was well. (March 2020) The room was really lovely, spacious and clean with water provided, warm bedding and heat or air conditioning. It was really chilly in town so the heat was great. The only negative and could be a big problem for some people was the room was a bit damp, especially the bathroom., this may be all of Sapa, and the weather was damp. After a shower it would not dry! Everything was wet in there (there was a fan), but I don’t think it did much. We mentioned it to staff and they tried their best but if you had another shower the same thing happened. It’s was a shame but didn’t effect our trip as everything else was great. The staff were helpful with whatever we needed.

this hotel is on the way for cat cat so you have to walk small hill but don't worry it's just small hill and has fire place to make warm and heater but unfortunately both of them was not working well. so if you cold you should ask to borrow the electronic blanket 캇캇 가는 길목에 있고 선플라자까지는 약 오분정도 언덕을 올라야 합니다. 가격대비 진심 추천 드려요 물론 벽난로하고 히터가 잘 작동 하지 않아서 좀추웠는데 덕분에 여자친구 꼭 안고 뜨겁게 보냈습니다. ^^

Cheap price with not bad condition of room and location. But I don't recommend standard room even the price is very cheap. However deluxe studio apt balcony room is good condition compared with cheap price.

Location is near station come to Fasipan mountant. The road is always traffic jam and many drivers argue together Room: exellent view, bad smell room. From the lift to the room we need 2-3 floor walk up. I see some guesses change better room Staffs are friendly

Discrimination to Agoda guest & ambiguous information”
I book a standard room that has a window but did not know the window is between the lobby and my room. So, we can rarely open it. But, there was no airconditional.... so we had a hard time there. I could book a much cheaper room without window & have aircon in another hotel but I thought the standard room in Cat cat hotel has a proper window (which was wrong in reality). I also found a review said that he/she enjoyed great moutain view from standard rooms in Cat cat hotel, but I guess he got a free upgrade and he had not stay in a real standard room in this hotel. Each floor they have about 4 standard rooms with "lobby view" window. At the time I checked it they want to sell me another room, double price, which has a normal window . At that price I can stay at much better hotel, not only better view.... And they were kind of unhappy and said the room I book only for Agoda guests & backpacker and Agoda guests only can expect lowest possible service from them....

A lovely place to stay”
We booked the 4 pax suite for 3 days and 2 nights during December 2014. The weather was really cold and the room has a fireplace which was really awesome. The hotel is clean and tidy. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from the main market (not too near, not too far). The location is good as it's really quiet and not located on the main street which could be quite noisy from people's interaction. The private balcony for 4 pax suite is shared with other users (not really private) but the view looking over Sapa terraces is really good. If the weather is good, you can see the sun rises up from the mountain. Breakfast is provided but we can only choose 1 option (not buffet style) which is something I don/t like. The breakfast portion is small and limited. I preferred to eat my lunch and dinner at the market which is much more affordable and delicious. This hotel is located near the Cat Cat village which is a MUST- GO tourist attraction. There are a lot of "Not Genuine" Northface shops around. The best deal shop is located at Cat Cat village. ****** Blackout is quite common at Sapa. I was even trapped in the lift for 1 minute. Not the hotel's fault as the entire Sapa is affected.

We had a lovely stay in Cat Cat View hotel. We arrived early morning but our room was already ready for check in, very convenient when traveling with two young childeren. Staff was very friendly and willing to explain you all about the different hikes to the villages around Sapa. Kids loved the pancakes for breakfast and had a decent space to run around - outdoors - while we were enjoying our coffee. Views were amazing! Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Exceptional view”
Exceptional view of Mt Fansipan from room VIP3 and its balcony, that most hotels in Sapa would not be able to give. Room was clean with a chimney for winter, with private Wifi as a modern luxury. Only a short walk to the Cat Cat tourism village, and the hotel also proposed day trips to Bac Ha market. Main downside: electricity was down almost the whole of our first day, meaning we had to climb 9 floors to the room and there was no hot water (might want to pack a torchlight too!). But hey, that's mountain life and the view largely makes up for any inconvenience!

Great place with fantastic view”
We stayed at this hotel in sapa for two nights from Apr 5 to Apr 7. I was travelling together with my wife and had nice room (top floor) with great views to the mountains. The room was clean. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. We loved to stay at this Cat Cat View Hotel and if we have chances for visiting Sapa again, we surely will stay at this hotel. Saying again,we were very happy with our stay.Great value for money or more.

2 star with a 4 star experience”
It was AWESOME! It was a total surprise with the condition of the room. The room was sparkling clean and the toilet was fantastic. Almost as clean as my house toilet! (And my mom is one meticulous woman when it comes to her toilet so that's saying something) one minor problem though is the hot water. It's a bit cranky but most of the time it works properly after letting the water run for a few minutes. The host Mr Toan was just perfect. Helping us with every need and recommending to us the various places and how to get there. Oh and the food is good! Breakfast comes with the room for us and we tried the omelette and the pho. They were tasty! Location is awesome as it's just a 2 min walk from the popular tourist Street of all the n8ce cafes and restaurants. Sapa market is much further away though but it's nothing a short scooter ride can't fixed. Oh and the scooters only cost 5 USD to rent for the entire day. To top it all off, the view from your hotel room is just heavenly! To me the view more than make up the cost for the stay and mind you the rooms here are only about 30usd a night. That is cheaper than many of the hotels that is around the area. So point is I highly recommend this to anyone looking for accomodation in SAPA.

Awesome views”
Awesome views and a great location - away from the center of town with all the noise yet close enough for a nice walk into town or down to Cat Cat Village. We booked the superior room which appeared to be the same as a standard room though. TV did not work, there was no bathtub, no safety deposit box in room, and no complimentary water as indicated on the room description. We did receive some water after asking the front desk and we didn't really need a bathtub (there was a shower) so it wasn't a big deal. A safe in the room would've been nice though. I've noticed that most rooms we've booked on Agoda are not the same as described or shown in the pictures. But, we did really like this place and stayed three days longer than anticipated.

Great place / great location ”
We had a great time here - room was very comfortable given the class of hotel. Scenery / outlook from our room on the top floor was amazing - out over the Sapa valley. Restaurant was more than adequate - good western and local food, good wine, beers, etc. and a very pleasant place to just sit. Staff were amazing - helpful,friendly, delightful and always ready to accommodate. I would return there any time.

Perfect STAY in SAPA”
I’ve arrived early in the morning and the reception allowed me to Check-in at 7:30AM. The mountain view from my room, it was spectacular view ever! The weather was cold in Sapa but the room has heating met on the bed also fireplace. Staffs are very kind, Room was clean and neat! I will come back to stay next time for sure :)

This is my second time staying at Cat Cat view. The service is still as good and I love the view of Mt Fansipan just in front of me when I'm having my breakfast. However, the window in the room wasnt working so my friend actually found a spider on the bed that's next to the window. Other than that, everything was good.
