The one to take”
First and foremost, I would give 6 stars to the staff if possible. Yes, receptionists in all hostels/hotels will organise all sorts of things for you but this one was just a little better still. By the time you had fully explained what you wanted, it was already done. They even knocked on the door on departure day to let us know the bus back to the main land was running early and we had the chance to grab better seats by being picked up before the other passengers. Be aware though, there is a karaoke-place within earshot and another makeshift karaoke-place is set up at around 22:00 right across the street. And they are loud af. Unless there is rain, the makeshift one across the street will operate until 06:00 the next morning. If you are a light sleeper and you didn't bring earplugs, you will hate your life. While we can't really blame the hotel for it, I still made a slight deduction in location even though it didn't bother me personally.

Central but quiet location, staff were very helpful and kind. Very clean room and large bed. They offered me tea when i arrived and was not feeling very well, overall made me feel very welcome.

Nice ang good value”
- The location is very centred. It's easy to get food or drinks. The hotel has a cafe and a restaurant itself. - The room (706) is nice and cozy with stunning view from the balcony. The Ac isn't very cool during mid-day though as I guess my room is on the top floor. - The bathroom is small but very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Generally, I enjoy my staying here and hope to come back someday!

Catba Dream ”
This hotel is very ok to stay if you are on low budget, cheap but the room is still good enough, except the toilet is a little old compare with the room. The hotel has an elevator, is on the main street of Catba, not very close to the beach but there is a public transportation available for you to transfer from the hotel to the beach which is not very far away, you can still walk there if you are good at walking. Khách sạn ở rất ok nếu bạn cần chi phí thấp, rẻ nhưng phòng ở vẫn ổn, ngoại trừ toilet hơi cũ so với phòng ở. Khách sạn có thang máy, nằm trên trục đường chính của Cát Bà, không quá gần bãi tắm, nhưng có xe điện công cộng trung chuyển từ khách sạn đến bãi tắm cách đó không quá xa, bạn vẫn có thể đi bộ nếu bạn giỏi đi bộ.

Top floor room overlooking the bay which was spectacular. The room was basic but suitable. Kris on reception was very helpful and we would recommend you book your cruise through him, cheaper and the possibility of staying on a floating house.

Great stay, if you're on a budget.”
It's in the heart of Catba town which is good as it can be hard to get cabs in Catba if you do not ride a 2 wheeler. The host was very friendly and helpful with the tour booking, 2 wheeler booking and mobile recharge. Great views from the balcony of the hotel. Only downside is the room we got was a liitle stuffy and the bathroom was not that clean,otherwise it was a great stay.
