Comfortable hotel and friendly staff”
This was my third stay at the Centara Grand Phratamnak. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet which is served in the dining room featuring a magnificent aquarium, is excellent with a wide choice of Thai and Western foods. The rooftop swimming pool and cocktail bar a very good - the rooftop offering excellent views of the very nearby ocean. On this occasion I was disappointed with the room as it had a mouldy odour as well as an unpleasant odour emanating at times from a bathroom drain. The hotel transferred me to a different room which was good and odour free. The following day I was again upgraded to a larger room which unfortunately also had a mouldy odour. Apart from that, the stay at the hotel was good and I would definitely recommend it. The hotel is a two minute stroll from the beach.

Great Rooftop”
This hotel seems under rated to me. It has a terrific view from the rooftop pool and jacuzzi, and love the shark aquarium in the lobby. Its really close to the beach. It's a bit far from the action, but we have a car, so no problem. I have to say, the room was a little run down.

Nice hotel for weekend retreat ”
Specious room with thoughtful amenitites. My son love the bath tube while I like the balcony with ocean view. And we were traveled during Covid19 spread but the hotel was very well prepared and entrusted. We feel safe at all time during our stay. By the way, inroom dinning and breakfast are nice and value to money. Thank you very much for great time.

Great hotel with great hospitality ”
The hotel is very nice and elegant. The rooms are just as amazing. The hospitality lives up to it’s reputation. The only thing that is disappointing is the view from the room. The ocean is just a skip and hop away but yet we couldn’t see it from our room even though it was facing the ocean. Otherwise it would’ve been the cherry on top.

It is a good hotel and breakfast was good as well. Parking was an issue though. The kids liked the aquarium and the room was clean.

Very friendly staff, after first room was smelly, the receptionist allocated without issues another one. Breakfast too expensive, we missed out booking from beginning. The Sands Cafe on corner of the road for BF is a nice place.

Beautiful hotel in Pratamnak ”
Hotel is lovely with very helpful staff. Location is quiet 200 metres from the beach. Rooftop swimming pool and decking is very nice but too small for a big hotel.

When check in at lobby, waiting for the room, there was a bad customer complained about it takes so long waiting, they got an upgraded to big room. But when I asked they just say sorry. They should not let me know about it. Next thing at the pool, I ordered a plate of pasta, after they served it (very late) they saw that I bring wine from the room, so they ask for coekage charge. That 's fine I paid for it. But I just realized that I am the only one who get charged other tables they also bring their own alcohol. But they did not order anything. That make me feel a little unfair. Overall, room is good, there is 7 11 nearby , walk to the beach easy. And it is not on hillside.

Besides service mind and helpfulness of staffs especially Mr.Ya, there is nothing impress us.”
Bed is well-decorated with soft mattress. Toilets were clean and hygiene as expected. We found fungus spore at the roof, cockroach in the wardrobe and the lights didn’t work well although Mr.Ya and his team try as hard as they could to fix it. Mr.Ya also tried to give us a new room which was more expensive, and high-graded , but it didn’t meet our needs. The only things we impress is attempt, service mind and helpfulness of Staffs’ team especially Mr.Ya. Please send this complimentary to him and his team. Next time, We won’t choose centara again.

I booked this hotel because of Centara Grand brand. However, it's a bit lower than my expectation in term of hotel facility. A photo shows in Agoda compare to actual are quite different. Location is good but not that quiet for relaxation. However, it's very closed to the beach. Restaurant for breakfast is a bit small and food is just ok. We had a dinner (BBQ Seafood buffet) on Saturday and all look good except a crabs that not fresh. Room is good and clean. Again, my comment is upon an expectation to received from 5 stars hotel under Centara Grand. If it's regular hotel with no brand then facility and service are above expectation with price that I paid.
