Great resort”
Had everything you needed from fishing to tranquil beach walks. The resort is right in the centre of all the action and 7 mins by motorbike to the next piece of action. The reception staff were amazing.

Great hotel, nice beach location, convenience stores nearby!”
We have stayed here 4 or 5 times over the years and will be back. They have a great shaded beach area plus a beautiful pool. Also the staff are friendly & helpful. The hotel is well managed, many types of rooms to choose from & maintenance is on going keeping this large resort looking good. We'll be back.

Sprawling Resort Right on the Beach”
We enjoyed staying at this hotel. We had rooms in the regular building, not the private bungalows but it was fine. Ocean view and we could walk to the water in just a moment. There are beach side seats and a giant rope swing that is nice for the kids. The pool and breakfast at the hotel are nice too. It seemed far from the main road but that is only because the resort is so big. Recommended.

Romantic Get-A-Way”
Absolutely the best stay I have experienced thus far. To really enjoy the place, one needs to book at least 2 nights minimum. Very quiet location, peace and tranquility can certainly be found here. Already booked my next Romantic Weekend. This time for 2 nights.

Good location and facilities but poor breakfast”
The resort is huge. It is located in the beach which is very convenient. The beach is long. The infinity pool with beach view is the outstanding facility of this resort. Rooms are very simple with basic maintenance. Breakfast is disgusting, very few choices and loe quality, even worse than a backpacker hostel.

Idyllic setting, well managed hotel, great value”
This resort is at the end of a beautiful, picturesque, sandy, tranquil bay, with palms trees and mountains as a backdrop. You can walk to 7 or 8 restaurants within 5 mins and plenty more within 10-15 mins. The resort is very well managed. The infinity pool and swim up bar is great and the food in the restaurant is surprisingly cheap and good. All staff were very friendly (but limited English). We stayed in a standard room and were surprised to find it had a partial Seaview and was only a half minute walk to the beach. The hotel offers free use of kayaks and has a nice pier that you can observe fish from through the clear waters. We also walked to White Sand Beach once in about 75 minutes (with a fun and worthwhile stopover at Zip'n'Zorb 15-20 mins walk) and caught a taxi back. The clientele at hotel was a mix of countries, mix of wealth and mix of ages (young, old and families). I would highly recommend Chai Chet Resort to anyone wishing to stay on Koh Chang.

Could be best value and location on Koh Chang”
We stayed in 5 different rooms in 3 different resorts while on Koh Chang and Chai Chet was the best by far. HUGE property. Gorgeous views in several directions. It sandy beach bungalows on one side, rocky beach bungalows, jungle bungalows, and more. They have their own jungle/ocean hiking trail! Best pool of my stay in Thailand. We were really happy to find this place. Protected bay area on one side, FACING the rest of the resorts. Beautiful. Spectacular rocky area on the point of the bay... private rock climbs and ocean dipping... We LOVED it here and only 'liked' other places. I'd rate it 9.9 out of 10. Only wish the bar at the pool was open when we were there. lol

Good location and very good value for money”
We stayed here during low season so it wasn´t so crowdy. The pool was clean, the prices of drinks and food in the resturant was very low. Not over charged like it can be in some hotels.The thai massage had the same prices like on the street, so no need to go away to find some cheaper. The rooms were pretty good too. If I would go back to Koh Chang and stay at Klong Prao Beach I could for sure consider to stay at Chai Chet again. It´s really good value for money. The breakfast was a little bit booring though.

Great location and beautiful pool”
My husband and I stayed at the sea view villa for 3 nights, and were sad to leave. We are not that easily impressed, but our jaws literally dropped when we saw the room - so beautifully designed and with such fantastic sea view. The bathroom is also gorgeous - it's so spacious we can do yoga there. What I particularly love as well is the pool. Very well designed and offers a lovely sea view. What's even better is that the resort is just a 5 mins walk to the beach and 5-10 mins walk to many other shops and restaurants. There are not many bars around the area though, but this area is probably not known for parties anyway. All in all, I fully recommend Chai Chet Resort.

great resort, but fairly simple rooms”
this resort is located near the small village of chai chet, where there are a few stores and restaurants, but the best place to eat is at the resort restaurant. it has terrific ambiance, great food, and super prices. the infinity pool is beautiful as is the landscaping near the hillside rooms. the beach is gorgeous, of course, but not great for snorkeling. the standard hillside room is pretty small and simple, but clean, with a nice porch. the free breakfast is the best free hotel breakfast we've ever had...curry and fried rice, cereal, fresh fruits, pancakes, omelletes, toast, etc. amazing!

Great relaxing stay”
We absolutely loved our stay at chai chet, we initially only booked for two nights but ended up staying for five. Beautiful surroundings, private rooms all with balconies, we had a hillside room, was very nice to have some privacy and only a very short 30 second walk to the beach, hotel pool and restaurant. I must say, the staff were incredible, they were very attentive, spoke good English and were always polite, courteous and more than happy to help with Anything. I would definitely recommend chai chet, clean rooms, a bit dated but good value for money, comfortable and clean.

Peaceful, romantic and relaxing stay”
We spent 3 nights at Chai Chet resort and we had a very relaxing stay: the room was extremely clean, it had a nice sea view and was surrounded by trees without making you feel too much isolated. The resort has a wonderful pool and a cheap massage service. It is very near the beach but enough isolated from the noise of the central road. Perfect location for a honeymoon or a relaxing holiday with the family.

One of the best choose on Koh Chang”
We spent our First days in this hotel. After a very long , And tired travellin from pattaya . We arrived , it was a Big surprise the staff CAN speak english very well. We got welcome drink , the staff was very helpful. The londiners took us Our laguage to the room . The beach is very nice And clean. The restaurant is very good . The breakfast is amazing. We checked the other hotels in the island .but I really think , this hotel is one of the best choose here. The reception are very helpful all time off the day. And you CAN rent a motorbike close to the extrace (a very funny woman has a shop there) I recommend to visit 💪 Thank you Chai Chet ,

Had a great stay wished we had stayed longer, hired small motor bike opposite hotel & went round the Island found some great places but Chai Chet in in best position beautiful empty beach not many tourists a great place,would highly recommend Cai Chet Resort

Nice Resort”
a well-kept resort at the northern end of chai chet beach built into the hillside. the resort itself does not sit right on the beach which starts just south of it. we had one of their standard rooms which was simple and very clean. note for those with mobility problems that the resort involves a few steps and few of them are secured with hand-rails.

Nice bungalows close to the sea”
chai chet resort is a average bungalow place located in the beginning of klong prao beach at koh chang. the bungalows are very nice with ac, fridge, hot and cold water and a terrace. the beach is also nice and you can find a few places to eat at at the mainroad 2 minutes walk from the hotel. the breafast is ok with both thai and western stuff to eat. the pool is very nice and it also have a pool bar.
