i could not say anything better about this hotel! my boyfriend and i stayed here in august in a pool villa and can't wait to come back. bed were delicious, rooms were even better, dinner service arranged on the outdoor balcony was incredible and the fact that it was all up in the hills of chalong meant the view and the vibe was like nothing else in thailand. everything was very close- chalong beach was a 5 minute drive and that took you out to any island possible.. and the 'villa zolitude spa' was just unbelievable with the best treatments we've ever had. the thai people there were very understanding of the fact that we didn't speak much of the language, and had pretty much fluent english! which really helped... over all, i would recommend (and have been) to anyone!!!!!! 5 +++++++ accommodation thanks villa zolitude! see you again soon! :)

Ao Chalong Villa is a small boutique hotel located along the shoreline of Chalong Bay. While you cannot swim in the bay due to low tide and silty, dirty bottom, the hotel itself has two lovely infinity pools. The hotel is also located adjacent to the Ao Chalong Yacht Club which has an open area bar and restaurant and it is very easy to meet new aqaintances there. The hotel is divided into two sections, one being alongside the beach and the other across the street...both are very quiet and serene. While I rate this hotel as excellent for all categories, I can only give it a "2" for food/dining...it is unreasonably expensive for food and drink compared to all the establishments in the local area...they need to re-adjust their prices. (Beer too....to have a beer while enjoying the pool is extremely nice but not at their prices).

This hotel is a brand new hotel in Soi Taied aka fighter street. Chalong is away from every beach and resort town and 45 minutes from Patong however Chalongs main thing is fighter street and this hotel is perfect for that. Within walking distance to every shop, hotel and gym on the road and for a busy and loud road it is on it's own little road on it and very very quiet. Massive room, nicely and expertly designed, a small rooftop pool however the views from the rooms and balcony and rooftop are stunning and worth the price alone! Safeena made my stay perfect as always and is the best staff there!

4th timed visit phuket but first time stayed at chalong. Amazing villa, big pool and clean water. Kids very loved it. Privacy and not noisy. For family better rent car for easier movement. Halal restaurant not quite far to search. Find mosque there's a lot halal restaurant. So satisfaction will come again.

I feel so comfortable stay at Anchan Boutique Hotel during my holiday in Chalong,Phuket. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I'll go back to stay at Anchan Boutique Hotel when I visit Chalong,Phuket next trip.

My husband and I have stayed at Chalong Miracle Lakeview Resort & Spa two years in a row now, and we absolutely love it. The hotel is beautiful and spacious, and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location is ideal for us as my husband trains at a gym on the nearby fitness strip, and it is only a short drive to nearby beaches and markets. We are planning on returning again this year we loved it so much!

Great location in Chalong (Surrounded by Muay Thai facilities)! Not too far from the Chalong temple, about 20-25 minutes from the Big Buddha. There are many cheap restaurants and cafes in the area (which is good because the villa does not have free breakfast). You need to bring your own tea bags/coffee into the room. The swimming pool is very comfortable, and there is lots of privacy in the villa. We stayed one night, which was enough, because the villa is enclosed, there are not windows to the outside.

New 7 story building with great facilities and very near plenty of restaurants in the Chalong area. Excellent seaviews from the front door and mountain view from the decent sized balcony. In my opinion the building should have been built 180deg. opposite to give the seaviews from balconies! Friendly staff and bargain pricing makes it one of the best value accomodations in Chalong Rawai area..

Coco Retreat, located in Chalong, is a great play to stay and relax. off the beaten track but still close to beaches and some of the sights. Two pools with beautiful gardens, a mid size gym and dining area which also opens to pool and garden. We enjoyed our breafats and drinks. Plenty of great restaurants, cafes and markets close by as well I think its in the epicenter of gyms in Phuket!

I chose Signature for its location and value. Location as it's close to all the boot camps/muay thai centers in Chalong area. Plus: It's clean, spacious, modern facilities with a nice pool and lounge chairs (someone told me some of the pools here lack lounge chairs). no problem with fridge, tv, shower, safety box, etc. Easy to get new towels everyday (no fuss) as I did not want my room cleaned. Con: they didn't tell me my unit was adjacent to renovation/drilling (luckily I was out most of the day training) nor did they mention there's a muay thai school next door which has shouting at 8am (training). TV was also kinda spotty with signal, but that might not be their fault. my bed mattress was cheap; had a large depression where previous people slept. could have been better. other: they had scooters for rent. they have a restaurant/room service but I did not try. Overall, for the value and location, I highly recommend

We stayed in a jacuzzi villa and the tub is such a bonus! Love the outdoor scenary. The place is big and full of luscious plants. We took the buggy to train at the chalong gym stretch. Definitely value for money!!

This is best hotel in Chalong in my experience. I booked this hotel having never been to the area and was planning on staying a few days while I checked out other hotels nearby to see if I could find something better. I did not find anything and ended up staying here for 2 weeks. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a foreign manager who is also available to help you and who is great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The wireless internet was very fast and reliable. The pool was great. The restaurant was top notch and offered anything you might want. There is no reason to stay anywhere else if you are training at Tiger Muay Thai.

Closed to Chalong Pier, which takes less than 10 mins walking. There is a big supermarket next to DLUX and u can get nearly everything. But services need to be improved. The bathroom of condo we stayed smelled awful as the previous guests smoked inside, and we have asked for non smoking rooms when we booked.

it was great, poor weather while i was there so i didnt get to enjoy it as much as i could have but i will defintly stay there again as i am a frequent Chalong visitor.

Me and my wife have our honeymoon stay at this villa ,the villa have flower decorate on bed and bathtub that surprising us .the properties is very new , the design and decorate really create romantic ambience till the max , with the private pool that make us don't want to leave the villa .recommend to have own transport ,the remote location let us avoid barge of tourist crowded .no problem to use GPS find the villa .everythings is perfect .very relaxing

Myself and my partner had been travelling around Thailand for a few weeks and wanted to spoil ourselves before we went home. We Arrived early after getting the night bus from Bangkok, we were allowed to check in and get some shut eye. Staff were amazing and very helpful, gave us info on what's close by, you can rent scooters from reception - 250B, they will organise taxis, boat trips...etc. The bungalows were super cute, wifi, fridge and air con. Your only 2min walk from Chalong Pier were there are loads of restaurants and dive centres. The pool is lovely, you can sit and watch people learning to scuba dive - this didn't interfere with our pool time/ relaxing. Perfect stay and beautiful place. Definitely recommend and stay there again!

We stayed here for a while then went off to Koh Phi Phi planning to travel on from there. We decided Happy Cottage was so good we just had to go back, so we returned for 3 days, which ended up turning into well over a week! The rooms are large and clean, with a separate living area with TV and big fridge and a kettle. The bed is the most comfortable we've slept in in ages. It's lovely relaxing in the sun loungers or the chairs on your verandah, cooling off in the pool, then walking the 2 minutes to Tony's for a spot of lunch. The location (away from the beaches and towns) is not a problem, as you can rent motor scooters for about 4 pounds a day nearby. We actually found the location a plus, as you're not surrounded by club 18-30 types all the time, and the prices for food and drink are more reasonable than in the main tourist areas. We signed up for some scuba diving with Sea Bees (a company in Chalong, who we would highly recommend) and they arranged collection and drop off for us from Happy Cottage free of charge, so the location wasn't an issue there either. We're already trying to work out how to arrange our itinerary so we can go back to Happy Cottage again!

I stayed with my daughter for 4 days, a lit of space and well maintained. The hotel is very clean and 10' walk to the down town center. The hotel is quiet, perfect today, and the staff ways available and efficient, my daughter was sick and they drove us to a community care. We rented a scooter at the hotel which was very convenient and fare price. The restaurant has a view on the sea but we were eating out every day. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Lovely collection of rooms and bungalows in a chilled, leafy location, with a unique pool. Absolutely fantastic staff, friendly and helpful. Only downside for us, was that it can be a bit hard to travel around the island; you can hire scooters, easily catch a taxi, or you can do what we did, and just relax here with a book and a beer. Would highly recommend this!!

we just has a single layover in chalong on our way from phuket airport to koh ngai. we arrived late in the evening and our ferry was early in the morning so we just needed a simple place to crash. pier 42 was absolutely perfect for this. kind service and great accomodation for the price. chalong is a quite charmless harbor town with a main road full of more or less seedy bars. it looked quite harmless in daylight but when i went out after dark to buy some supplies at the 7-11 across the street the main road had turned in to a red light district. when my husband went out alone to buy water he was attacked by girls on the lookout for single, white male tourists. just the kind of place you want to avoid in thailand. that said, the hotel is a true gem for tourists catching the ferries to the islands. a clean and quiet oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle. a nice, tranquil courtyard with tropical plants. clean and no nonsense rooms. the restaurant serves great thai dishes and a simple breakfast. absolutely the best place to stay in chalong and a great place to rest before continuing the journey.

Due to the road works at Chalong Circle, study the map first and get acquainted with the short cuts to the hotel. Otherwise you will be stuck in traffic for 30 mins in order to do a "U" turn to the hotel.

I never expected I could used less money and stayed in a very good hotel-- chalong sea breeze. I just want to say it's quite beyond my expectation. The room is very bright, clean and spacious, but the price is quite reasonable. The location is good with different bars, restaurant, cafe and massage shops. It is very close to the Chalong port which is the place for many tourists to go to the island. Lastly, the staff there are very kind, they made you very comfortable.

Stayed at the hotel for nearly a month got to know all the staff who were all very friendly. Location was ideal for me as I have a son living near by. It is a ideal location for anyone doing diving as Chalong pier is only one Km. Enjoyed having the opportunity to use a Gym on site. Large parking area plus useful to have a super market and markets right on your door step. Will be going there again.

We read some other mixed reviews so it was not without some trepidation that we booked the Chalong Chalet. We have stayed in Chalong/Nai Harn and Rawai numerous times and have passed the property many times too so we new it was in a good position. But the reviews were not exactly glowing. But we have to say that this is a real gem. That's not to say it's for everyone. This is not a place to book if this is your first time in Phuket and you want to be among the action, close to a beach and don't have you own transport. Its true that the staff don't speak much english and don't fall over themselves carrying your bags to the room. But if you can get past that they are friendly and will do as much as they can to help. What you get here is a basically a junior suite at about a 4 star hotel level for the price of a standard room. You have a large bedroom with king size bed, adjoining living room with kitchenette and two bathrooms, one outdoor with rain shower, and a patio and sitting area to boot. All this set in not overly densely developed grounds with a great pool (I don't get anyone saying its too small unless you want to swim Olympic laps). The views from the pool are fantastic. There is only one AC in the bedroom and they probably should have put one in the living room. But there is a strong fan and large windows which open so you should be able to get by. We did not try the restaurant as we did believe the reviews that the food would not be that good. We have never seen anyone use it so the turnover of stock can't be that good. But we had our own transport and you are never far from great restaurant in Phuket. Even a great breakfast for less that the hotel would charge is only 3 minutes away (past Chalong roundabout near the pier for example). This would be great for business people looking for short stays in the area or independent travelers who are mobile and looking for a bargin or maybe backpackers looking to splurge.

I rented a chalet at the pool. Once the safe issue was fixed I liked it. Clean and a good bed. The Hotel location is great for some attractions as the Big Buddha, Wat Chalong and Phuket town. For beaches it’s a stretch. Due to its location at a busy main road it gets pretty noisy which especially in the morning hours can be an issue.

Forest Bungalows is in a great location if you’re in Phuket for fitness training. It’s close to a lot of different gyms & restaurants that all cater for those people training. Mama & her staff were all really friendly, helpful & accomodating. I stayed in a delux room which was a great size & was really comfortable. Mamas restaurant is very handy & the food was delicious. I’d definitely stay there again.

Room is good and staff is more friendly that enough to compensate with local and Limited car park. This is small hotel and far from beach but near Chalong temple if you don't have own car it may difficult to get public transportation.

in general, my stay at the hotel was nice. But here are a few things that I want to comment: 1. WIFI service can not be accessed in my room. So I have to step outside everyday to check my email, that really pissed me off a bit. Apparently, this happened to other guests as well, because I saw a lot of guest took their laptop outside to chat via skype. 2. The laundry service sucked. They told me it only took them 1 day to get my laundry back, but it actually took 2.5 days. Well, they do not have dry machine and all the laundry has to be sun dried. So, maybe I can not complain on this ground. 3. It's far away from where the actions are, aka: Patong area. So, if you want to get to Patong, you need to take a taxi, which cost you around 500 baht. But it's very close to the Tiger Muay Thai training Camp, so if you are here for the muay thai training, this is a good choice to stay, considering the price.
