We stayed here for several days before heading to Pai. We later had to spend 1 more night in Chiang Mai and automatically booked back in here as we had such a comfortable stay. Nice big room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom and friendly staff

More expensive thab other hostels in Chiang Mai but so worth the price! Absolutely everything is new and clean. Best beds so far in Thailand, lovely staff, walking distance to markets and some temples. I paid 334 baht/night and it was worth every penny!

This hostel was a great place to stay. Breakfast is included with every night that you stay, information surrounding scooter rentals, laundry, and everything else useful to know in the city is readily available on-site. The staff members were incredibly welcoming and the room was also above average. All of the typical room amenities were available but Wi-Fi access was the only detriment for us; we were staying on the third floor quite close to the wireless receiver, but service inside the room was very spotty. Overall, a great place to spend time while exploring Chiang Mai!

We stayed in a double bed dorm room. The beds were big and comfy and had a curtain on them for a bit of privacy. The hostel is very clean, probably the cleanest I've stayed in. It's right by many restaurants and a short walking distance to anything else. The staff were super nice and helped book a visit to the Maerim Elephant Sanctuary. My favorite part was the breakfast. It offers a lot and changes every day so you never get tired of eating it! Delicious! Definitely recommend for your stay in Chiang Mai!

Hotel is within walking distance of all there is to do in Chaing Mai without being loud so rest is assured. The place is very clean, pool is as nice as pictured and room was large and very comfortable. The best part was Pang at the reception desk. She was awesome! She helped me book tours and even allowed me to use her own cell phone to change a plane reservation. Hotel is appropriately priced and I would certainly return again

We have stayed here a number of times over the past 2 years and are always happy with our stay. The hotel is starting to show signs of wear and tear such as marks on the paintwork and small tears in the wall paper. The air con wasn't working at its best in our room either. The rooms are clean, nicely decorated with good facilities. The staff are welcoming and attentive too. The breakfast is ok, theres a choice of toast, boiled eggs, salad, cereal, noodles, watermelon and sausages. My only gripe here is they do not have 'normal' tea, even when I asked they confirmed they did not have any. A box of Lipton tea bags are cheap and would be great for those of us who don't like green tea. The location is great, within walking distance of the sights within the old town and wararot market.

good hotel, but very fast changing prices, so if you know your travel dates booki it for all nights! location is not perfect, by foot aprox 10minutes to central gate, where all life starts, or 60bat by tuk tuk! minus if you are unlucky you'll have a room with balcony where's only window in the room, and even that doesn't open! if you don't mind of ac and book in advance, good choose for cheap and clen stay!

The staff here was SO with everything from questions about Yi Peng (they even gave us krathongs for the event), to booking activities, to immaculate housekeeping. The bed was comfy and everything clean. They also give you water and snacks, and you're able to order breakfast from the restaurant next door if you want. I was nervous when I first booked this hotel for my stay in Chiang Mai as the hotel is a bit out of the way of the city center and I thought I would have quite a bit of trouble getting into and out of the city. Going into the city was easy as red songathews were easy to catch on the main road in order to get into the city but finding one from the city back near the hotel was pretty much impossible as none of the songathews I tried to catch wanted to go to that area. Most of the time I had to use Grab app or just walked back to my hotel (about 30 mins, but I was used to walking by this time). So it's an inconvenient location but it's great if you're willing to be flexible.

after trying out a few hotels i came to choose Centro CNX. I booked one night and extended for more than a week immediately and did not regret. for less than 600 baht (Agoda deal) you receive a huge clean room, comfy bed, everything is clean and wonderful. Bathroom with nice shower and awkward flushing toilet (but it does it job). only contra is that the ceiling high in the bathroom is 2 meter. but this didnt even bother me as i am that tall. Wifi is very fast and Signal is strong. provided TV is huge and good to watch a movie if you want to. Hotel staff also very friendly. all in all, best value hotel to get in chiangmai :) definitely gonna stay again.

We have two kids, age 6 and 8. This hotel is simple but met our needs. The breakfast was good, the pool was small but had a waterfall that the kids enjoyed and it was cheap.

The hotel is quite near to the Chiang Mai old city, easy access with red car. An award winning hotel for its special design. As the name called, it is a box. So the room is quite compact and small. It is however able to fit in both of us well enough. We stayed in the room with balcony on second floor. It is nice to stand and view out from the balcony. The room is welly equipped even with its small size and the cleaniness is very good. The staff in the morning in not that friendly but the staff in the night is very helpful. I has a problem with my door lock as the latch is spoiled. The staff in the night initially asked me to wait for the next day but eventually helped to call a repair worker to help changing the lock. She also helped to call up a taxi to send us to the airport on the next day. Overall, the hotel is good with its cleaniness and location. Definitely worth the money to stay here.

Price has gone up 10% and no change in service. A lot of long stay clients and less tourists. Hard to get a booking during the season so good luck with that Bruuns is a bout the same price but newer and smaller rooms with other similar options close by.

The staffs here are very helpful and friendly.The hotel is very beautiful. It is 1km away from tha paek gate,so the street is quieter. It is good for those who need a good rest after a long day of walking. Nothing much to eat around that area where there is a 'tesco' small grocery shop and 1 thai restaurant opposite the hotel (only thai menu). you can take tuk-tuk or walk to the old city for more food choices. The housekeeping comes everyday to change the towel and make up the bed. (However the floor and bathroom not well cleaned) Overall it is value for money.

Nick is owner / proprietor and we never met him but he has built a beautiful place by renovating an old warehouse and converting it to a very comfortable and well run guest house. Only eight ( 8 ) rooms but so efficiently run. Staff people: Nan & Kor & Wee, and the cook/housekeeper all first class. Having traveled in SE Asia since 1967 and over 25 trips in the last 15 yearsI can say the bed was the most comfortable I have experienced even when comparing it with five star hotels like the Oriental in Bangkok. Everything in the room is rustic and original except for the fan, a/c, and TV which were modern. The only slightly negative comment would be that the TV channels were very limited. Al Jazeera one night and the next two days it was blocked. No CNN or BBC. Channel news Asia OK and Deutch Welle OK and NKK from Japan OK. No movie channels except one in French. But we did not come to Chiang Mai to watch TV. The Waorot market is two minutes away andit seems to be the best market with the lowest prices in Chiang Mai. Shopping for Thai fabrics there was a pleasure and the rattan beautifully crafted. When you return to Rustic after dark the street looks a bit seed and very dark with all the neighborhood shops closed but the area is very safe & quiet. Lastly, when I asked where is "Nick" they said his picture is on the wall so I walked over to take a look and when I pointed and said this is Nick? They said -- no, that is the King. A very big faux paux by me as I meant no disrespect. But truthfully Nick has done a "kingly" job of making this old building so lovely and home like and he has hired and trained a wonderful staff. Enjoy your stay and book early -just 8 rooms

I was a little apprehensive about this hotel as the ratings were just marginal. My checkin was quick and easy. I gave the girl my passport and checked in. I booked a queen room but she nicely explained that they were all booked up and asked if I would take a room with twin beds. The room size was the same and the twin bed was comfortable so I wound up keeping the room for the whole 6 day stay. Room has a nice flat screen tv with maybe 90 or more channels. Desk with a little chair, ample storage space for clothes, a fridge, a safe, and a hair dyer. Water was hot for the shower and some basic toiletries are provided. 2 bottles of water are provided daily. Plenty of electrical plugs as well. Overall my stay was very pleasant and the room is cleaned daily. Hard to call it a 4 star hotel but maybe a 3.5 It's within walking distance to the old city - only about 10 minutes - and there are usually taxis outside. Parking for cars and motorcycles underneath the hotel. There's a 7-11 close by. Free wifi but like many Asian hotels it doesn't always work so well. Overall I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel - especially with Agoda's low price. Chiangmai is a great place and when I return I will stay here again.

If you want an excellent hotel, good pool and very helpful staff, in a quiet location but only a short walk away from the city centre, then the Warehouse hotel is the place to stay in Chang Mai. A brand new hotel, it scores very heavily in my book for the clean and fresh look of the rooms. Jackie, the manageress, and her staff will do anything to make your stay a very pleasant one. This is my 3rd time staying here, so that says it all.

This may have been the nicest place I’ve stayed on my travels so far. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was great. I opted to not stay inside the city walls of Chang mai, which was good and bad... as far as this hotel, you won’t regret it. It would have been perfect if the police didn’t hassle so much about tourists on motorbikes. 200 THB bribes required multiple times a day even after buying the 500THB temp license. I don’t think I’ll be back to Chang Mai, but don’t let that be a poor reflection on this hotel. It’s more of a warning for tourists traveling there.

I'm very satisfied with my stay. The room is large, clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and above all still very new. They're very generous to give everything in the minibar for free. Large parking lot. Convenient location near local eateries so I can find foods for dinner and breakfast. Hotel doesn't have a restaurant. The area around hotel is very clean as hotel is in a small lane. The Grand Napat, apartment of the same group, is opposite the hotel. They can look into changing the shower curtain as it's getting old. A very chic hotel and not pricey. Recommended.

We have had an excellent stay. At My Chang Mai. I originally booked it due to the reviews I had read and it didn’t disappoint. We had an adjoining family room over looking the pool. Our rooms were lovely and clean with two big beds, ( as in previous reviews the beds were too hard initially. However the mattresses were changed half way through our stay and are now much more comfortable) good air conditioning. The pool facilities are great. From playing in the pool to relaxing on the sun loungers. My girls had a fantastic time and extra towels are given to you at reception. The staff have been so helpful, nothing is too much trouble, it’s very well run and we would have difficulty finding fault with any aspect of our stay. The hotel is also very convenient for old Chang Mai. You are given a map of the city on arrival whitch I would recommend taking with you if you are planning on using the tuk tuks as all the drivers will find it helpful to refer to.

This is the most comfortable place we have stayed during our six month travel tour! Rooms are extremely clean and well decorated, staff and owner very helpful, and the best breakfast ever served in the garden. This place is just a 15 mins. walk into town or a two minute taxi ride. Don't hesitate to book before they raise the prices of this beautiful boutique hotel!

When we saw in the agoda photos of this hotel, there are swiming pool and fitness. Yes, there are but the places look like out of order areas. We cannot use and they are old. We are disapponted.

Firstly, when we arrived "“the hotel” " around 9-10PM, there was no receptionist or some one speaking English so we didn't know how to check in. The tuk tuk driver help us ask the only Thai boy there and explained that the staff are off on Saturday and Sunday at this hotel?!?. It took us 30 minutes to show the Agoda hotel booking confirmation and make that Thai boy understand and give us the check in note and the key. He doesn't speak English but the receptionist maybe left the key for him. Secondly, entering the room, we were welcomed by the smell like from toilet. The smell stayed during the whole period we’re at “the hotel”. Thirdly, during 2 days they didn't even clean our room 1 time, no changing towel, no rubbish disposal... The forth, our bus started at 8PM so we ask that Thai boy whether it is OK for us to stay at “the hotel” till that time, money or no money charge more. He is OK with no money. It's our fault when not getting the approval from the landlord but we could not find anyone there to talk or discuss with (even that's Monday). 6PM we checked out, the landlord charged us for late check out. We told her about the smell, the towel, and the cleanness... she didn't hear a thing and warned to call the police if we didn't give her. That's the most ironic thing I've ever occurred, that's not the service attitude even at a cheap hotel or hostel. There may be the son and the daughter of the landlord understands the situation but the mother was always asking for m,money. To be in time, we gave them money but we do remember the service we received here. She is totally different from all friendly Thai people. Besides all above things, I won't mention about the poor facilities and surroundings. To have an excellent trip we do beg you guys to consider “this hotel" when you press "book" button. Buffet Breakfast was fine, fussy kids ate ok. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful, rooms clean. Baht buses and tuk tuk's went past the front of the hotel constantly, we didnt wait more than 5 minutes before we had a ride. Drivers from the old city had no trouble taking us home. Aircons could be a little noisy.

This is our first time in Chiangmai and it was amazing moment for us to stay 4 days-3 nights in this Homestay. Very quiet and clean. Every Conner of this house did have take care and great decoration. Especially, bed , pillow, bkanket are soft and super clean. Owners are very helpful and friendly, I mean warmest! Some snacks, cookies and drinks are free at receptionist. If have chance to come back, I would love stay here again and over again. Thank you so much for the kindness.

We LOVED our stay here. Our hosts were incredibly hospitable. The location is great with a very easy 20 min stroll to the night bazaar. Situated right by the Ping River you can also go for lovely walks along the riverside. I gave the facilities a 4 star, rather than 5 star, simply because of the beds. I do NOT sleep well on very firm beds and this fits this category. If you enjoy firm beds then you'll love this place. I so sleep so much better on softer beds, but not too soft!! 😉😜😀 Yes, I'm fussy with my beds so please take this remark with that in mind. Thanks CasaMpika, we enjoyed our stay with you.

Before we decide on a hotel, we felt that detailed reviews is the most important factor before deciding on an accommodation. We reached the hotel about 0930 hours with airport transfer provided (to & fro) & our room was ready. They have very quick and hassle free check in & check out services. (Please note do give them a call beforehand on the timing you'll reach the airport.) We booked the studio room and it is very spacious with an enormous the washroom. Bigger than expected in the pictures. The kitchenette were equipped with all the utensils completed. We thought that there would be a stove but only came to realised that only a microwave oven available for the studio room. The room has plenty of sockets (both sides of the bed, one near the desk and another one by the mirror). of all hotels/apartments we've been in Thailand, Grand Napat has the most number of sockets available. The service provided is 5 stars for a 3 stars serviced apartment! They have motorbike/car renting service starting from 250baht for the motorbike. (Note: It is not from the hotel but an external company) We rented a bike there and it is quite pricy compared to other places available. They will send and get the bike back from the hotel. (Note: You have to provide a copy of one passport and 3000baht deposit before getting the bike OR a passport for them to hold if you do not want to give any deposit (but at your own risk). We gave one of our passport for a day as we needed the 3000 baht but our passport was returned safely before we proceeded to the airport). Lastly, breakfast was fairly good. There's a beautiful view if you're seated outside & don't worry about the weather its very cooling even seated outside. Also, he location is very central. It takes about 8-10 mins to almost everywhere such as Warorot Market, Night Bazaar, Nimmanhaemin Road, The Arcade Bus Station and the city. I would not hesitate to return to Grand Napat again! Go get your rooms now what you waiting for!
