The Chanthanee hotel is a fairly large hotel, and it is reasonably priced. It lacks some of the facilities that I would like to see in a hotel, but there are compensations. While there is no restaurant or coffee shop that is a part of the hotel, there are local restaurants [no western food] close to the hotel. There is a mini-mart and a hairdresser/beauty salon adjacent to the lobby. While there are washing machines in another room adjacent to the lobby, there is also a laundry across the soi from the car-park. While not essential, it is very helpful if you understand Thai if you stay at this hotel. While not close to shops, there is a motor-cycle taxi point on the mail road outside the hotel, and you can use these services to get to and from shops and the city centre. Would I stay there again? Maybe, but I would look for other options first. It's not a bad place to stay, but it's not great.

The hotel is really good building , big hotel. Is missing some things important things like breakfast . ( no breakfast ) no coffee ) nothing you can buy in hotel for to eat Buy i have find the room clean and good in the ground floor. If the owners will give attention for this hotel they can make him really much more important. I like to say the true, the hotel big also rooms large , everythings ok. Just need more workers and more programs potions( but the hotel is ok

In the reviews i read about the spider cobs and ants in the bathroom. I thought ok. But spider cobs were there, somebodies toothpaste left in the washbasin, ants, dust, hair in the bed. I put 2 towels in the bed . To sleep on, instead of dirty sheet, and to sleep under instead of dirty blanket. The next morning, aftet a bad sleep, i found the bed full of ants!!!! It is a big shame agoda sells this hotel

It was good location with cheap price but staffs are very slow. Not enough for extra blaket when request and next door baby was crying all night.

Cockroaches were in our bathroom. Door to balcony didn't lock, could hear sewer running from other rooms. Staff couldn't find us taxi most of the time and nobody would help me buy laundry soap to do laundry although they had washing machines for guests. We had to ask for TP also. The good thing was they had hot water for shower.

The stay could have been brilliant with a good sized room and chunky furniture, but I was greeted by an earwig in the bathroom and there were cobwebs in all corners of both rooms. The staff didn't seem to interested in much although this could be due to my stay being out of season...

Spiders and many ants made the bathroom their fortress and lots of bed bugs feasted on us. Wifi was really slow and often not working. Receptionists didn't speak English (or anything else than Thai really) at all. Location okay, you can walk to the city; but it takes at least half an hour, so not too central. No breakfast/restaurant whatsoever. But it was really affordable, had AC, ven, warm water, TV, freezer, so it was okay for three nights.

Bed was lumpy and harder then most of the beds in SE Asia. We could hear and smell the old sewage pipes. Had cockroaches and poor customer service.
