For room, it's old room, old facilities, but clean. Good stuff. For pool, good view, clean, but no towel in beside of the pool. Kid zone is very good.

Beach is wonderful so as breakfast which is reasonable good. Room is ok and suit with money. Pool too deep for leave children to play alone regardless even they can swim. Shower and toilet in pool definitely need more clean!

It is decorated as modern. However the quality of mattress and stuff is cheap while staff has no service minded at all. The only good things is the location as they have beach on the front. The pool is too depth to swim. If I have to come to this beach again. Surely this hotel will be cross off.

Neat beach resort in convenient location”
The resort is located in the preferred area of Chao Lao and provides direct beach access. There are deluxe rooms in the main building as well as modern villas spread all over the place. The deluxe rooms are big and clean with balcony, shower cabin and tiled floor. There‘s a nice swimming pool next to the beach and some chairs provided with towels. Unfortunately, there‘s no shade around noon. The garden is impressive in size and decoration. Free wifi is available all over the area. Breakfast offered in the main building is very unequal. One day, there‘s a great buffet with lots of vegetarian choices. The other day, vegetarians are disadvantaged and if there‘s a shortage of customers, you can order either eggs or rice soup. But there are plenty of great restaurants in Chao Lao. No problem to skip breakfast. The open air restaurant at the beach is a nice place to relax in the evening. Prices are acceptable. So far my favorite accommodation in the area.

Chaolao Cabana is a very nice modern and cleanliness resort. Their location are also great to find and go out for activities. Breakfast served with good quality and plenty choices. I'll be back if I will go to Chaolao Beach again. Thanks

Great Beach Resort”
This is our second stay, first time was for Loy Kratong 2012. This time we stayed at the 3rd floor and I'm glad to say the rooms are kept well maintained and very clean, rooms are basic with TV, refrigerator and a hot water pot. What makes the stay at Chaolao Cabana so fantastic is the combination of garden, beach front pool area and the beach. The beach it self is a gem without sales people or deck chairs, some day one can be alone. The Breezes Bar is the beach front restaurant at the Cabana, serves very good food.

Lovely hotel on the beach!”
We enjoyed our two day stay at the Chaolao Cabana Resort swimming at the beach and enjoying the sand between our toes. The restaurant, Breezes Bar, was good and served both Thai and international cuisine. The location of the restaurant overlooking the beach was fabulous. The breakfast buffet was adequate. The staff was very friendly and kind. Ask for a room on the third floor so you get the best view of the beach. Cabanas are also available for families.

the hotel is well maintained and the stuff very friendly. if you look for fun and party, then you are at the wrong place, this hotel suits people who appreciate the nature and want to relax. the room was big and clean with a nice balcony. the hotel has a small pool and is located directly at a very very long beach. even at high tide you still have the possibility to walk. the water is nice and clean. the beach itself is clean. there are only a few other resorts along chaolao beach which is nice because it is not crowded at all, but at the other hand there is no entertainment at night. a nice beach bar would be great. the bar in the hotel itself closes very early at around 9 pm even if there are still guests. this is a shame. all together i liked the resort and would come back any time. along the beach you find very good authentic thai food which is very cheap

Our third stay and we been very happy with Chaolao Cabana every time. Rooms and bathrooms is always clean. A big breakfast buffet is served and a la carte is very good, service is always good.

quiet location, easy to access to the beach”
we were book two rooms in the garden location; it was not so far from the beach. first, i thought it very quite but it fact it does not because that night the hotel have a reservation for the big group, i would say they were took most the rest of the hotel, a little bit noisy but we can deal with it. wi-fi was a great feature for the small hotel because i can connect to the usa easily and did not have a problem with the signal. breakfast was plenty and staff was friendly. next time i will stay by the beach, pay more and get a nice feature, i think it worth it. even though i have not used swimming pool but i can tell they are keep it clean.

The beach itself is not great but the hotel is great. New, clean, safe, convenient, quiet with helpful and nice staff make the price reasonable. Breakfast is not bad!!! I walked along the beach and can say that this hotel is the best in that area....

Beutiful beach and clean amenities”
It seemed a log drive off the main road to find the hotel but it was worth it to arrive at such an unspoilt beach location with very gently sloping sand; ideal for children. Everything worked too which is quite unusual in Thailand and many other Asian locations Breakfast was good. A slight downside was the absence of any English language TV channels except Russia Today... This is because they only appear to have one satellite dish that only carries this one English language service but does have all the main Thai ones. They could very easily and cheaply add several free-to-air good quality European language programmes as well as Channel News Asia from Singapore if they installed one or two more dishes somewhere. Luckily, with an iPad and good wi-fi, I was able to catch up on the news with Sky News HD. However, the flat-screen TV in the room had no available HDMI socket so I was not able to connect it to my iPad and watch a larger picture. A final word. Although there is a mini-mart at the hotel, the nearest 7-Eleven is more than 10 kilometres away!

Nice relaxing getaway”
We had a great relaxing time. From our balcony we had an ocean view although lower floors did not. The hotel is right on the beach. The beach only had very small waves but the water was some of the clearest I have seen in Thailand. There are many Thai style seafood restaurants within a short work from the hotel and there is actually a proper footpath to get to them safely and easily! The hotel was in very good condition with a great (and deep) pool overlooking the beach. The beds are typical hard Thai beds though. The internet was also a disappointment. It was fast enough but it kept dropping out all the time which was really annoying when we were trying to stream English TV as the hotel only has 1 English channel and that is an advertising channel for Thailand showing you what a great place Thailand is. We will definitely be back though.

Nice hotel, good location, nice garden/swimmingpoo”
We only stayed two days because of short holiday schedule. Everything in the hotel is what were expecting for the price. Good rooms, clean. Outside it also looked beautiful, but unfortunately we had two full day of rain and wind. Swimmingpool, garden and beach looked beautiful. For children they have enough to play with. We visited the maritime museum and the aquarium during the rain. Not used the swimming pool. Breakfast choose was okay. Thai and western food.

Pretty new hotel directly at the beach side”
Best choice for Chaolao beach. If we would go there again, we also would book there again. Pool is fine, the villas are good value for the money. Don't expect any nightlife there, it is more a place to relax in a quiet atmosphere. Restaurant could be better choices.
