Perfect place to stay”

Easy entry, excellent location, especially for a family with a baby and a pushchair. We had everything we could possibly need. I loved that a baby gate and travel cot as well as additional camp beds were already in the room if you needed to use them. It was nice to have these extras for free and we did use them as well. The family suite was comfy, warm, enough room for two adults and two children.
There is nothing negative to say really and when we return to whitby will be booking again. Thank you.

Great Location”

The apartment was great! Good location in the centre of Whitby with car parking close by. The apartment is on the top floor, with irregular, quirky low-beamed rooms and there are lovely side views from the windows towards the sea. It was clean and beautifully presented. We visited during a heatwave and the fans provided were very effective. Communication with the host was excellent. We would book this apartment again if staying in Whitby.

Great location for the 40th birthday we attended at the local bistro. Perfect for our needs with local shops and a bakery that was open on a Sunday morning for pastries and coffee. Very clean accommodation and comfy beds for the family.
Just needs a little planning for dropping off with luggage and little ones as it is in the centre and parking was at Whitby Abbey for a 24hour stay.

Lovely little place”

Central location in town Overlooking cobbled street Smart clean room with all facilities I was contacted by hotel with helpful information on the morning. It took a bit of finding even though we were stood right outside it! My own fault really, I phoned the hotel and he said step into the ally, open the door on right, your there!
I would have to really dig to find any negatives. A good few stairs up to room, but Whitby is full of steps and hill anyway My partner was a bit worried on the way about the fact we wouldn't see staff just collect key from key safe but it was very easy and nothing to worry about.

This was perfect for us. We were 4 elderly men who like the comfort of our own bed. Position was pefect for us for all facilities.
Nothing really. We are thinking of booking again for next year. Thank for making everything very easy Tim. I am also thinking of a weekend in summer with family.

It was in the perfect position in Whitby. The bed was really comfortable. We asked if we could have the heating put on and the landlord acted immediately by attending to the boiler. One member of staff also checked if we had enough coffee and tea. Access to the property was easy by using a keysafe. The code was sent by text before we arrived.

Great location in the heart of Whitby, close to the beach, restaurants, kids attractions and local walks. The room was spacious even though there was 2 adults and 3 children. Very clean, the staff were very friendly and caring. Sadly missed dining in the Blitz bistro but we understand the restrains the industry has been having to cope with recently and the owner has made a good decision and is looking out for his staff members. The town was busy however, the east side is much more authentic and brings back the memories and charm I remember of this beautiful town when I was a child. Everyone must visit

The location of Chartwell Retreat is fabulous. The room was very spacious with proper full size beds. It was very clean and clearly well maintained. It was lovely and quiet with a view onto the cobbles. Check in was simple with clear instructions of where to go. We would definitely stay here again.

The most comfortable bed I have had in all my accomodations over the years and the convienience for all meals and drinks in the surrounding area plus a few yards to the Abbey steps. The apartments are situated above THE BLITZ tapas/bar restaurant.

property was warm clean and very comfortable and right in the middle of everything,couldn’t have picked a better spot.We even bagged a reserved car park spot from the owner for the night.
if I was to put something in this box I’d say the fancy toilet flush was a tad loud and we was a bit conscious about bothering other guests if it was used late at night.

Chartwell Retreat”

Our room was up two flights of stairs which was ok for our family, but might not be for some. Bathroom is located on first floor. Rooms clean and well presented beds very comfy. Also had tea and coffee facilities.
Only downside was you are up in the eves therefore we kept banging our heads but when you got used to the layout was ok.
