    Robin and Tanya were so friendly and welcoming. The room was exceptionally clean with the comfiest bed ever! We stayed in the Glaisdale room at the back and it was the best 2 nights sleep we have had in ages. Breakfast was delicious and all local produce cooked fresh to order. The walk into Whitby was lovely from the hotel and as it was out of the centre it felt safe with parking.

    Comfortable accommodation and a warm welcome awaits, as well as a hearty breakfast.”

    We were welcomed by Robin who took time to ensure we knew what facilities were available and how they had organised dining access to be Covid-19 free. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Our room had comfy chairs which were very much appreciated on a rainy afternoon. Impeccably clean and comfortable.

    Clean, extremely friendly, breakfast exceptional in presentation and quality and hosts catered for every taste, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, porridge, cooked full English. Lovely homely room, comfy bed, spacious bathroom. Hosts doing a wonderful job with hygiene, social-distancing etc in these Covid times. Couldnt have been better.

    Most enjoyable stay with friendly hosts.”

    The Full English Breakfast was superb - beautifully cooked and splendidly presented - nothing was too much trouble for our friendly and helpful hosts. The quantities were such that lunch was never needed! We chose this guest house over others in Whitby as it had car parking space, even though it was out of town - there are Park and Ride buses nearby.

    The breakfast was fantastic. Nothing was any trouble and you can have what ever you wanted. There was more than enough on your plate. It set us up for the day. Lovely fresh home made cakes in our room, we thought that was a lovely touch. It was about a 20 minutes walk to Whitby town.
