A great stay.”

A lovely property with everything you need and a few thoughtful extras too - such as milk for a cup of tea on arrival, fresh flowers, buckets and spades, a fishing net and a crabbing net for children. The house was lovely and clean and in a great location. The beach, the town, the Abbey and lots of restaurants and independent shops were an easy walk - even with a 3 year old. There's a courtyard garden with a table and chairs to sit outside in the evening. In addition to the 2 bathrooms (on of them en-suite), there's also a cloakroom on the ground floor and a large internal hallway which was perfect for keeping extra shoes, beach gear, toys etc. out of the way but in one easy accessible place - a bonus when travelling with (grand) children. The owners were great. I messaged twice and both times they got back to me within minutes. They also messaged with a list of recommended restaurants too. I would highly recommend Cintra House - and I hope to go again.
Not a dislike just a note. It's a popular seaside town, so finding parking was a problem on one day. However the other four days we easily found spaces less than 50 yards from the house at the top of the road. You can also stop outside the property to unload/load - and everything else was great so it definitely wouldn't stop me going back.

Our holiday was made most enjoyable because our accommodation was so excellent.”

Very well presented property on 3 floors. We loved the design and space of the accommodation. Everything was provided for from the kitchen/lounge diner, to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The information given by the owner prior to our stay was excellent, and we appreciated the text half way through our holiday to ensure all was OK.
There is very little that could be improved upon. On-site car parking is not available because of the situation of the property. However the owner had gone to great lengths to purchase on our behalf parking vouchers to allow roadside parking nearby for the length of our stay.

Fantastic Holiday Cottage”

Pretty much everything you need is in this lovely holiday cottage. We had 4 adults and 2 kids stay and nobody was on top of one another. The location is brilliant being just a 5 min walk from the beach and sea front. It has lovely restraunts, bars and shops right around the corner making the stay even more pleasant. We will be back!

Very clean and comfortable and in a great position on West Cliff side.
Difficult to park in Whitby but we knew that before we arrived and has nothing to do with the property or host. We were provided with a parking permit by the host for an extra £10 for 7 days.

Perfect. We spent five happy evenings together as a family - youngest only 3.”

The private terrace was a lovely bonus. The entire property seemed newly decorated and in a very good decorative order. There was everything we needed and more. (Could do with an oven glove though). The house is in the best possible location for a stay in Whitby. Near shops, beach, park, waterfront, etc.

Very central to town but in a quiet area. House was clean and everything we needed, including travel cot, stairgate and highchair. Host was on hand if needed , and friendly.
Parking...height of summer, so Whitby was very busy, particularly at weekend. Benita, the host , explained and helped us with permits. No critiscm whatsoever but maybe a unit of drawers in the bottom bedroom would be be helpful....i admit i dont travel light!!!
