Quy Nhon is a Beautiful coastal town with many motorbike trips to do. If you are looking for a tourist place with everything all set up for you, this is not the place. Quy nhon is still very much Vietnamese and that is why its on my hot list for places to visit. Day One: hire motorbike, explore the city and some of the temples and pagodas. Day Two: Bike to Phu Phoung on the Hwy19 through the countryside to HomHo River. Beautiful swimming spot. lovely rivers and mountain scenery. turn off for Hom ho is 5km west of phu phoung. There is also a museum to visit close t phuphoung. Day 3: Bike trip south of Quy Nhon to Song Cau. Take the coast road there and the Hwy back. Both provide spectacular scenery. coast road beaches and then countryside mountains and fields. Day 4: Bike to the top of Quy Nhon Mountain. road entrance across from the Leprosy Hospital road. beuatiful drive up a steep climb t the top of the mountain with outstanding breathtaking views of Quy Nhon. (just make sure you put your bike in 1st gear on the way down and that the brakes are good, very steep). Finish off any day on the roof top of Quy Nhon Hotel. stunning views of the sun setting over the mountains. late evening, across from the hotel is a Vietnamese cafe, if you get chatting to the owner of the cafe he will get his guitar out for a wee singsong. I hope you enjoy Quy Nhon.

Staff were efficient & helpful, including changing the in-room kettle for a newer one; the doorman was particularly friendly. We also appreciated the welcome plate of "bahn it", a local snack. The huge range at the breakfast buffet covered both Vietnamese & Western dishes, with the omelettes and the strong coffee being standouts. The hotel is located on the southern half (& cleaner half) of the main city beach. It was great having direct access to beach, along with foot-washing facilities handy when you re-enter the hotel. The nearest supermarket and other food options are about 1.2km away. We were allocated a clean and spacious room on the 8th floor in the new wing; rooms here have sea-facing balconies. They gave us a room that was shaded throughout the afternoon; this made the room cool but bright. The balcony also allowed us to enjoy the invigorating breeze as well. In the mornings, you can access the 3rd floor deck for a great view of the sunrise, beach & boardwalk.

Hotel is located by city beach that is perfect to explore interesting places and local foods anytime. Besides, staffs are super friendly and helpful. However, hotel looks old with unsuitable wall colors. The lighting does not work very well but wifi works super fast. The facilities should be upgraded soon.

We stayed at the Saigon Quy Nhon hotel and it was a really pleasant stay. The staff is so helpful and will make their possible for you to enjoy your stay. Nice top cafe with a view over the city, very pleasant at night. This is more a hotel for business people as no families were there. Most of the expats tend to stay at another resort south of the city and this is a shame as the hotel is great and the location perfect to visit the town that has more than just beaches.

Its backyard beach is perfect for those who love taking sunbathe and swim. The room is clean yet the door seems not so sound-proof. Overall it's a nice place to stay when you visit Quy Nhon.

We booked this hotel because the motorcycle tour we were on wanted to out us up in such dives. We were really pleased. The room was small but I had mistakenly booked for 1 person instead of 2. The bed & linens were great, the room was clean and nicely furnished, the laundry accommodated us at no extra charge. We arrived at 4 and left the next day at 7. The breakfast was also good. You can walk the beach and the locals are lovely. We are at an outdoor place 1/2 k down the beach and in spite of a language barrier it was really good. Super hospitable town!

Nice no frills hotel on a main street at the south end of town. If you'd like to visit the beaches that dot the coast going south you are 5 mins away from Q1 that will take you. this is a rural town so get your google translate out because the area and staff speak little English. The room I had was two Queen sized beds that were super soft, bone chilling A/C and fast WiFi. I had card issues and the front desk girl, Trang, was super helpful with solving them. She was over the top in customer service, every hotel should have one of her. scooters by the day and a 8 min walk to the beach. Bahn Mi stand a block up had the best bahn mi i had in my time in Vietnam. Highly recommended.

I spent my summer holiday at Ly Ky hotel. The room price is cheap and very near the beach. I chose a sea view room. The hotel is very near seafood restaurant and weekend night market (food area)... If I have a chance to come back here, I will stay in this hotel.

We only stayed for one night so didn't spend a huge amount of time there. Staff were very friendly, room was big and very clean. It was a little noisy, we were woken up by a Vietnamese man singing in the corridor during the night but that's not the fault of the hotel. Definitely somewhere to get away from tourists, we didn't see any other Westerners in the hotel or in Quy Nhon. Location was great, easy for walking to bars, restaurants and beach.

We checked into to the hotel immediately after booking on agoda.com and the staff was not prepared to accept us due to a lack of experience with the system. However, after some effort to explain, we were able to get our keys and settle into our rooms. We found the guestrooms to be clean and pleasant, with good light and ventilation in the room and also in the corridor. As a result, we had no issues with second-hand cigarette smoke. Upon check-out, we really appreciated the management's kind gesture to refund us money due to a slight overcharge via online payment. Overall a very good value!

1. This hotel has great views where you could basically see the whole city lies next to the beach. I could not get over the gorgeous decorations and wood furnitures. It gives you a very cozy yet fancy feels. The staffs were lovely as well, they were informative and lend me a portable charger 🤣 Not to mention the Karaoke rooms here! However, the hotel hasn’t provided any transportation to pick up from the airport yet. But overall, great experience for such a price

Very nice family running this place. Close to the beach ... if you get one of the rooms facing the beach you'll wake up to the sound of waves! The rooms at the back don't have windows however. Good value for money.

I booked this hotel mainly for great deal on agoda.com and its location on the beach. Unfortunately marker on agoda.com map is misleading and hotel is over 1 km farther toward port area. You have to walk 300 m to the beach. My street side room offered gorgeous views of the bay. Hotel is getting a little old and need some face lifting. There are many seafood restaurants next to the hotel. Also 10 minutes walk away is large local market for those who prefer street foods or wants to buy some fruits. Reception staff speaks some English, and that was nice surprise in this off beaten tourist path city. In the room was refrigerator, A/C, fan and TV with cable channels but no English news. I rented motorbike from hotel and went to see amazing dunes area about 10 km north of Quy Nhon city. For $13 per night this is a great value for the money. I recommend this hotel and would stay there again in the future.

the friendly staff spoke very poor english and had little knowledge about how to help tourists (no maps, no good restaurants to recommend). our room was ok, but cleanliness was spotty. it was a 15minute walk to the beautiful beach, though the street lighting on the way was a bit dark.

ask the receptionist to rent a motorbike, it's okay and cheap. (100,000 vnd for 24 hour, abt 4.5 usd)

Really nice budget hotel. Directly opposite the beach, clean rooms with excellent views of the beach and surrounding mountains. It's good to go to sleep listening to the waves. Booked one night but have decided to spend the week which says something about this place. Stay here if you like quiet tropical beaches, excellent seafood down the road and no hassles.

I arrived at 11.30am, and had to wait until 12pm for my room to be ready. This was no problem as I went out and had a coffee and explored the beach a bit. I had come to Quy Nhon by motorbike, and the hotel has safe 24h parking below the hotel (entrance on the side of the hotel). The room was spacious, and had TV, desk, wardrobe, coasthangers, fridge, aircon. The bed was a good size and comfortable to sleep on. The room was partial seaview, with balcony. I didn't use the downstairs restaurant. There is a nice smoothie / fresh juice cafe right next to the hotel, where you can get smoothies for about 30,000 or 35,000 VND. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the beach. When you are at the hotel, then go up to the 5th floor, (where the hotel hangs sheets out to dry etc). From up there you get great views photo of the city / beach.

Hosts wait for us even that we came a bit late. He gave us some tips when travelling in Qui Nhon and they are very helpful. The apartment is space , tidy and clean. Beach is just a few steps away from this place, so it's just great.

Our stay at the hotel was good, when we got to the hotel they had no more double room even though we had booked through agoda, after making a phone call we were checked into a triple room for no extra cost. The room was comfortable not to big but a good standard. The staff were very friendly and invited us out for lunch the on our second day. (The best chicken and rice). The hotel is located 5 minute walk from the beach and the shopping entre. There is not much to do in quy nhon we spent 2 nights here the beach is a little bit dirty there are much nicer beaches in Vietnam.

This is one of the best hotels across Vietnam! The customer service is excellent. We got a discount at the time, so Au$14 is such a bargain. They offered us a very good deal (2bucks) to stay 5 hours longer because the room was available. I guess they have NBN connections that supported our work a lot. Compared to the other hotels in the same price range ($10-30), it's very quiet, clean and comfort. We stayed at five different hotels here, and the services as well as facilities are not that good, especially the beach hotel was terrible. I highly recommend this hotel.

Some of the hotels near the beach in Qui Nhon are open to the street at the reception area without any measures taken for security control. It is bad. The restaurant is also not in the quality. Shower space must be changed and improved for international standard separating actual shower space from toilet and washing counter.

Property new but having travelled Vietnam for 3 months this year and last, I think there is better value somewhere else. be aware that in hot weather the aircon doesnt cope with temperatures on the sunny side. most disappointing was that I didnt really feel part of the place. Your experience maybe different. Lack of fitted sheets to beds makes it uncomfortable and in the long term not hygienic. Shop around as there are plenty of hotels in the area.

I had an excellent experience staying in Duy Tan Home. The landlady and landlord are so friendly and caring. They made us feel like home. They gave us a list of good places to eat and visit in Quy Nhon and good recommendations. The room was new, and tidy, aircon worked well. Just one thing to note is that DT House is not exactly in the center of the city but it takes about 15m by motorbike to go there.

Hotel is closed to the lake but far from the beach. New hotel. Hotel has airport transfer service with affordable price. Vietnamese breakfast buffet is delicious. Staffs are always friendly with warm smiles. Around hotel has many local restaurants.
