My family stayed at the family room, I would definitely stay again if I visit. Good things about the hotel -Clean, quiet, comfortable and very spacious -Convenient amenities -Very Friendly and helpful staffs -Close to the city center and shopping center -Great continental breakfast -Beautiful view of the city and lake -Clean outdoor swimming pool with city view :) Need improvement -May need to check on maintenance on facilities: if the tub drainage lever works, toilet flushes, water hose spray is not strong. -Beach towels and lockers need to be available for use. -A sign on the door on how to open the swimming pool door may be needed (There is a button on the left side wall that needs to be pressed to open the door) and you need to tag the room key card to open the door for exiting. Overall, a fabulous experience and stay!

We arrived at the hotel with such nice greetings from the staff. As the hotel knew the fact that we were newly wedded, they gifted us free upgrade to Luxury room. Needless to say how surprised and stunned we are, we thanked the friendly receptionists and proceeded to our room under the guidance of a doorman. The room gives a cozy vibe with its wooden interior. The bathroom is small yet fully furnished. Bedroom is lovely and minimalized with a big comfy double bed, a working table, and a chilling relax sofa. Though sometimes we still can hear the upper neighbor walking and the aircon is a bit cold to our liking (25°C is the highest temperature), we had a great night sleep. The breakfast was indeed a great feast. It is not everyday happening that you eat sushi to start your day. Because it is for breakfast, no raw fish was involved and yet the rolls were delectable. They have so many options for breakfast that everyone will be satisfied here: phở, omlette, cereal of several choices, samosa, croissant, newly toasted bread (3 types), sushi rolls, kimchi, miso soup, porriage, fried rice, toasted corn and tomatoes, yogurt, and fruits. Coffee is nice and many choices of tea are also available. Serving time for breakfast is long too, up to 10AM which is good for day sleeper like me. The swimming pool is outside at the ground floor. It is a pity that we came on a rainy day, but we managed to do a few laps. Depth us only 1.2m, enough for some chilling. The swimming pool is not too big, yet lovely for some leisure moments. On 2nd floor there is a lounge area where residents can chill down with a book. The bookshelf there is filled with international selections, from Japanese to German ones. The silence of the hotel and welcomeness of staff made our stay uncomplanable. Would love to revisit and recommend to anyone who has a big budget and would love some precious silence in a Vietnamese city.

The hotel is located at the center of Hai Phong City. The room is clean. Staffs are very friendly. We have a great experience in Hai Phong. The best option for the price.

Great, little hotel by airport. Not too close to downtown district but there some shopping centers nearby. Great value.

I have gone to Hai Phong 4x now. This new hotel is by far the best I have been to thus far. Just opened in April, 2018, this hotel is very clean and all about service. I am delighted and extremely happy with my experience. I highly recommend this to all travelers. 1. Room is beautiful. 2. Brand new ammenities 3. View of the city is great 4. Gym is workable 5. Skybar and Spa was not open but definitely a try when I come back 6. Staff- FANTASTIC! great crew here.

All staffs here are very friendly and courteous. Rooms are clean and tidy. The location is quite good because it's peaceful and close to city center. However, the aircon is not very good, just because they install it in wrong place.

nice friendly hotel with complimentry steam and sauna with spa close to the boat wharves to catch ferry to cat ba island, walking distance to some attractions and an array of shops the hotel features some great collections of crystals and exotic stuffed animals in its grand entrance, a roof top restaurant with views of the city will stay again

rate is good though it is a little far from the city center. but haiphong is a very small city so it is ok. Room is perfet and suitable for business, everybody knows the new hotel.

We stayed in a 1 br apartment for half a week and it was great and clean, just the worst beds we've ever had by a mile. We literally paid more for an inflatable mattress at the super market (Big C Market nearby) than the room and it helped a lot.

huu nghi hotel is located in center of hai phong city. it is easy to go shopping, traveling,... it has got luxury funitures, great room service. particulaly, it has got perfect restaurant with seafood. its restaurant has got both european and asian food.

I booked Hoang Hai hotel for 2 Germans and it seems that they had quite a satisfactory stay, except for some below points: - In the first week of their stay, their rooms have no windows and lie on 2nd and 3rd floors, therefore they seem to be quite dull. This problem was solved in the following week when I asked them for rooms with windows. Surprisingly, these rooms are quite more roomy and seems to have better-looking and newer facilities. - Receptionists are sometimes cranky. Still helpful though. My friends also said that the hotel offered quite delicious breakfast. The location is quite good, near center, but you should be aware that it lies on one-way street so it may take a detour if you need to go to other parts of the city by cars or scooters.

The hotel is quite far from the city center, but not very far from the airport. Unfortunately also far from railway station. The hotel was clean. But breakfast was really very poor. The staff was not speking English well.

This nice little hotel fit the budget. I was a little leery with a 1.5 star rating, but that is likely because they don't have many amenities (pool, fitness center, restaurant, etc.). For the price this was a nice and clean place to stay the night before catching the morning hydrofoil to Cat Ba City (5 minute taxi ride). Across the street from the Bao Anh hotel is a nice size grocery store for bottled water and snacks. One block down the street is a newly opened Pizza Hut which is a bonus if you have kids.

I pulled in on a bicycle and found Cozy Hotel to be a good location. The staff was fairly fluent in English. Although no restaurant there were coffee places right across the street and bo mi places as well which were all open before 7:00 am.

Viet Trung Hotel is around 10 minutes outside the center by taxi. It is conveniently located at the new highway number 5 from Haiphong to Hanoi and is a short ride by taxi from the airport. My room was clean, everything worked well, including a wide choice of different TV channels.

Haiphong doesn't have a lot of tourist attractions but we were making our own way to Cat Ba and stopped off here. Hotel is very central and walkable from train station (avoid the taxi drivers there whenever possible!). Room was clean enough though had no window and was slightly damp.

I stayed here with my sister for 4 nights, the hotel was nice, staff is pleasant but only one man speaks English. The room was clean but only when you ask them to clean it. We gave our clothes on laundry, and they said 30.000VND for everything, but when we checked out we had to pay more; 30.000 for each thing! We gave 60.000 and took off. Hotel is situated only 6 minutes walking from the main train station, and 10 from the city centre. There is also cable TV, if anyone is interested.

In general, I felt good about my stay. Its a brand-new hotel which actually operating as a rental apartment. Everything in the room is fresh new and in very good condition. You can cook, wash and dry your clothes right in the room with handy machines. The furniture is nice looking. Minus points are the sofa is hard and the bed is not long enough for foreigners. The breakfast served was fantastic and I heard the menu is changed frequently. Hotel manager and staff are friendly and willing to help. Just remember this hotel is operating two systems at the same time: Rental apartment and hotel. Plus its total new so don't expect too much for the professionalism of its hospitality.

There was only 2 sockets in the room and the window was not able to close when I got there. However, the staff repaired it right after receiving the complain. The hotel location is good, in the center of Hai Phong, within walking distance of many restaurants

We stayed at this hotel in Oct 2019 for 3 nights (208 was our toom, I think). I rate this hotel 5 stars. Here are my rating reasons. Room: nice decor, simple but elegant Staff: From the front desk to the restaurant and the pool, all staff always greeted us politely with a smile on their face. They were eager to help us with anything we need. Kudos to his customer service. (My bad that I forgot to ask his name). I also wanted to acknowledge Miss Phuong (front desk), Charles Vu (bell person), Dang Ninh (restaurant), pool staff, and the housekeeping for their excellent customer service. Breakfast: Buffet breakfast had both Western and Vietnamese foods. It was not a huge buffet but enough to fill us up to start a day. Location: very convenient to walk to the restaurants and a super market around the hotel. From the hotel, you could walk to the train station for about 10-12 minutes. Haiphong was a good base for transferring to Halong bay and/or Catba island. Highly recommend this hotel.
