Conveniently located if one wants to stay in the city center. I stayed for one night in late May,2018. The hotel is a short walking distance from the night bazar. It is up to date,clean,quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly,courteous and helpful. I parked my car on site. The swimming pool is nice.

I'm here for a business trip so I don't have much time to stay at the hotel. The room is noce and big. The location is convient to go to any place in city center. Service is good also the breakfast . I also got very good rate from agoda. Next time I have no doubt to stay here again. Tips : Chiang Rai is in Northern part of Thailand so the best time to be here is in winter (Nov - Jan) to get the cool weather here. You can drive from here to the land border of Myanmar wich is 60 km. Don't is to try some local tea here too

The hotel is brand new (so new the pool and many meeting rooms are still under construction) with exclusively modern facilities. It's located 10 minutes from central Chiang Rai, which is a ways in such a small city, and getting a tuk-tuk requires you to cross the freeway to the City Center. The hotel restaurant was clean and priced well, the rooms were a nice size and there was plenty of hot water (which has been an issue across our Thailand travels). Unfortunately the staff is still learning hotel hospitality. My wife and I were given a 2 bed room despite arriving several hours before check-in. We worked with the hotel staff to book a motorbike for the following day but never received a call from the front desk. When I went down to check they told me they had sold out and pointed me to a location in the middle of town. I had to take a tuk-tuk from the City Center mall into town, so I lost the standard convenience of renting through the hotel. During check-out, I asked for an airport transfer to stop at the motorbike rental to pick me up, but they refused and had me take a taxi. All in all, it's a modern hotel with great facilities, but the distance and our experience with the staff meant we wouldn't stay again.

Cons - There really isn't many, the rooms aren't as big as in the photos but still good size, a little overpriced. Pro's - REALLY GREAT STAFF everyone was amazing even the security guards were so friendly and helpful, very clean and modern and anything you asked for was delivered quickly to the room. The staff can all be very proud of themselves for there efforts. Great noodle place right next door if you miss breakfast and very cheap, easy walking distance to the city center and night bazaar market. Overall a fantastic hotel with even better staff just a little overpriced.

The hotel staff were some of the friendliest and warmest people we met during our vacation in NW Thailand. They made our honeymoon more memorable & took care of tour booking through their partner agency, as well as provided a VERY extensive and tasty breakfast buffet (hot & cold bar) every morning -- a great way to start the day. Our room was cozy, comfortable, & MOST importantly, clean. The hotel was quite accessible to the city center and also secluded enough for a private retreat, amid lush landscaped gardens & peaceful setting. We found a few great pubs with live music (Rock, Indie, & Alternative, both in Thai & English) a stone's throw away from the resort. Aside from the drinks the vegetarian dishes there were truly amazing & worth a try. The hotel restaurant was good too, but we'd recommend getting out in the town & exploring the local tastes of Chiang Rai. My wife and I will return here again for a future stay. Wiang Inn Hotel of Chiang Rai is located in the city center; about a 5 minute walk to the night bazaar and 7 minutes from the clock tower. This is an old hotel that has been renovated nicely! Breakfast has a nice fresh assortment of food for everyone's tastes.

The best thing of this hotel is Good location and Low Price The hotel is located at the city center .There's many parking slot with security guard the wall is very thin You can hear what your next door speaks Overall ,The room is okay ,Bed is comfortable but There 's still bad scent in the room You got what you pay but it's okay with this price

De Hug Hotel and Residence at 053-711-789 is a great little hotel away from the center of the city, but within easy walking to many nice restaurants at a good price. We drove and it is a short drive to the city center - tuk-tuks are available. This is our go-to hotel whenever the city hotels are full. This is a 3-star hotel with 4 star pride. The free buffet breakfast has ample food and a good assortment and is one of the few places that makes sure the food is hot and fresh! There are only Thai TV channels, but the WiFi is good.

Beautiful place, nice rooms, perfect (but slippery!) swimming pool. Great place to stay. You are a the outskirts of the city: it's quiet but you need to take the tuktuk/taxi/... to go into the city center.

Clean and functional Inn on a budget. Close enough to city center to walk. Show worked great. Bed was comfortable. TV only had Thai channels. Internet worked fast enough to watch YouTube in HD. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly and spoke English. Would stay here again.

the hotel is not the center of town. not a problem for us as we did not want to be in the center of town. we come to the big city to relax and restock. this place is perfect. the hotel is spacious with beautiful gardens and a large bathroom and bedroom. the hotel runs a free shuttle to the night bazaar each night which we love. great internet. being almost right next to the central plaza mall is such a plus. we park at the hotel and walk to the mall. also, big c is almost right across the boulevard. the hotel is going to be renovated so we squeezed in one more stay before they closed. can't wait to see it after renovations. they reopen the beginning of july.

Loved This Place. Set amongst spacious and beautifully maintained gardens , with lily ponds and huge old trees. My suite was large and comfortable with a lovely river view . The Legend feels like it is isolated and remote and yet is only 10 minutes from city center. The staff were super friendly and efficient . As a tourism professional the most impressive aspect was the superb maintenance and attention to detail. If you are looking for a 5 star option in Chang Rai look no further .

I am very happy with the stay. The location is not too far from the city center, airport and the main road. The staff was very nice. The breakfast is great. The room is clean and quiet. It like you stay in your friends house. If you are looking for the small , quiet and clean hotel, this maybe your answer.

Nice hotel with good service, located in the heart of ChiangRai, just 2 minute away from city center. Large room, nice bathroom, internet works perfectly in the room. A real good place to stay while visiting the ChiangRai region.

The hotel is situated in the good location of Chiangrai city, not far from city center and access to the major highway. The room is spacious and clean with excellent service from hotel staff. They also provided ample space of car park only a few steps from the room. It is best suited for the guest with own transportation even the hotel can assist by calling taxi and also it is only 10 minutes walk to the major road. Good restaurants are in the neighborhood by the riverside (Chinese and local northern food). Wifi internet (in room) is of good quality.

Located in the heart position in city center, only 3 mins' walk to the night bazzar and food square. Only 2nd to Wiang Inn hotel in city center Chiang Rai.

The room was nice and quite comfortable, and had good wifi. There was a wonderful pool which was large enough to swim laps in, and the restaurant served good food, including the breakfast which came with the room. The location was good enough, being within walking distance of the city center and the night bazaar, and with a 7-11 and bank ATM just around the corner. But first and foremost was the service, which was commensurate with a much more expensive hotel. If you are not an important person, but want to be treated as though you were, I can heartily recommend the Rasa Boutique.

Very good, nice and located in the city center area. This hotel provides hi-speed internet for free and offers free buffet breakfast every morning. The staff are friendly.

Excellent location if you like to be in the city center but not too busy or noisy during night time so you can sleep well. There is a 7-11 store very close by the hotel. The room is very nice cozy and clean. There are plenty of common area in the hotel to relax (roof top terrace and fish pond with small garden by the lobby) The property also provides one car parking space per room which is great. The only one compliant is that the drive way (entrance) to the property is very narrow (single lane) so only one car can pass at a time.

Hotel is quite newly built, location is a bit far from city center by walking distance but the staff can assist by calling tuktuk (city transport). Bedroom is nice and very clean. Breakfast is very magnificent, they provide food which is newly cooked for each person and many varieties.

The hotel manager studied abroad and speaks fluent English. She's a very attentive person who would even go buy postcards on request or bring the ordered food from town when the delivery service refused to come under heavy rainfall! The hotel is located a bit outside the city center, perfect for those who search a quiet place. The rooms are quite spacious and clean with a nice balcony.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, room is luxurious and big. Staff are super helpful and friendly. There are classes including Tai Chi and Yoga which we enjoyed. It's next to the river with jogging track. The pool is also fun and has a poolside bar with great cocktail (worked out to be 120bahts for happy hour). The cafe served beautiful cakes and has music in the evening. It is not exactly in the city so you cannot really walk anywhere far however 100bahts get you to the city center by cab/ grab.

Nai Suan means Garden in Thai. It indeed has a gorgeous garden, besides beautiful building, rooms, and cafe. Good facilities, and nice staff. We can easily tell that the owner has good taste and pays great attention to details to details. The breakfast is nice, and the soup rice is highly recommended, though a lit bit too salty. The best and most impressive hotel we stayed during our 11 days in Thailand. We are so glad we came.

This was the best hotel we had during our 3 week trip to Thailand. It is a resort style hotel with 3 houses in a tastefully designed small garden with pool. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was very good and plenty. The staff well trained, extremely polite and utterly helpful. The pool is clean and had a nice temperature even in february. Everything seemed to be inspired by the spirit of the owner, an elderly lady with a very good command of English and a friendly personality. The hotel is in a calm and quite neighborhood which is a little far from the center, but they run shuttle buses, especially at night time but also during the day. It's in walking distance to the center though. It took us 20 minutes to walk to the Clock tower. They organised a private tour with a nice driver who drove very safely. Taxi to the airport was also organised, though a little expensive. Despite the calm setting it can get a little noisy du to the constructio

Clean, modern, and good aesthetics, this is not on the main hostel street, and it seems a little nicer than the other hostels in this area. We used their bikes for free and bikes 5 minutes to the night market and city center and the breakfast was great!

The hôtel is brand new. It could be a 5 stars hôtel. Room are big, Claen with all facilities. Staff is friendly. Not too far from city center (15 min Walking). Very quite Area. Small restaurant in front of the hôtel. For perfection, the hôtel could rent/provide bikes for the guests ( maybe in the future? ;-))

Pros:- -the most comfortable bed ever, the mattress is very comfortable not too soft not too hard. the pillow is also very comfortable. -very clean -large room -mini fridge -hot water kettle -kitchenette sink area -bathroom is nice, large bathroom sink, shower is separated from toilet by curtain -hot water pressure is good, they provide soap bar -sofa area with tv -long bench where you could sit and go on laptop for example -clothes wardrobe Cons:- -free wifi is very spotty, if you manage to connect it's fast but the connection disappears and reappears so i just rely on my own sim card to tether -no shower gel or liquid soap provided -car park gets full quick -location wise not too many restaurants around, there's a few if you walk but not much. 7-11 is down the road though. best to have a car or scooter if staying here.

Helpful and friendly staff, new, large (private double), clean rooms with fridge, water, kettle with coffee/tea, toiletries, English movie channel on TV (sometimes you just wanna stay in on a rainy day) & close enough to city center to walk around. Added bonuses: clean, shared kitchen with free hot/cold drinking water, washer/dryer (30b), shared seating area, inexpensive (really good) breakfast next door and they rent bikes/motorbikes for the same price as everywhere else! They also have dorm style rooms that looked pretty nice from afar. Highly recommend!

Very impressed with this hotel and would say it is the best we have stayed at for the price. Staff very friendly room very spacious and clean close to night bazaar and shopping centres
