the building of the hotel looks terrible and old but when i got in the lobby was alright and also the room was big enough for 2 persons. toilet clean enough. i extended my stay for 2 weaks while in melaka for medical treatment. altough its a bit quite but overall its good hotel. the staff was very friendly and good customer services.the breakfast was ok, occasionally you have a chance to eat american breakfast but most of the time will be local delicacy. wifi very slow. convenient to walk around, 10 mins walk to shopping mall and 30 mins walk to jonker street. i will recommend ppl to stay here and will come back again. cheers.

Great location with friendly staff”
location is within close proximity to the mahkota parade and nearby shopping centres. walking distance of about 15 minutes to the shopping centres, although trying to find the hotel at first was quite confusing. friendly service rendered by the staff. rooms are ok for a short stay in melaka. parking space available just outside the hotel. recommend the hotel highly if you're looking for budget and conveniently near the popular areas in town.

Decent and clean hotel”
The hotel is located just before the bridge to Pulau Melaka. Not very far from the heart of town. Rooms have ample space and it's rather new. There's no dressing table though in our room. And there's no electric kettle, just a flask. But it a decent place with breakfast included. - Friendly staff - Easy check-in - Ample parking space along the street. Limited parking for hotel guests (ensure you place parking coupons if you're not parked at the designated hotel guest parking or you will find a summon on you windscreen, those guys are quick) - Many pubs and bars around the area - Close to hospital - Chilling at the bridge (to Pulau Melaka) with cool breeze was awesome

Strategic location, nearby Melaka City”
Easy to find. Check-in room is quite fast and efficient.Room and toilet is clean. There is no disfunction facilities found. For muslim, they provide praying mattress. At the restaurant, only breakfast is provided. But easily find food at the area since nearby to Melaka city. No parking issue because the area is ample and they also provide ticket coupon parking to buy. Bottom line is will recommended to visitors who would like to come to Melaka.

i went to malacca with my friends, one of them wanted to go to mahkota medical center. city park hotel is close to this hospital, near to mahkota mall as well, and within walking distance to the historical sites. anyone visiting malacca and looking for a cheap accommodation can try this hotel.

Value for money”
I was fairly satistied with my stay.. The hotel has some kind of smell (you will notice it once you enter the lobby). Staff was very kind enough to assist me with my check in. Toilet in my room was not functioning well and the wifi connection was not stable (at times, I can't use it at all). As a visitor without any transportion, the hotel location is within walking distance to Mahkota Parade/Dataran Pahlawan and even the Melaka city itself if you doesn't mind walking for about 2km. Overall, it is recommended to visitor without their own transportation.

Good location and reasonably priced”
staff was friendly and helpful. rooms were large and clean. all facilities were quite well maintained. the toilets were renovated recently. however, there were only a few parking lots free for hotel guests. other lots require payment coupons. the hotel is located conveniently near jonker street, melaka river, a famosa and hatten square shopping malls with great views of straits of melaka.

Good Location Basic Hotel”
Good hotel with many nearby amenities. few hundred meters to the main mall of this city. Ample parking but only 6 reserved for guest.If you come back to hotel late, had to resort to public parking which is charged by the hour during day time even on weekends. Accomodation is really basic. Hotel room doors could use a better security lock rather than just a simple key.

Fine for a two star hotel”
Though the hotel is near to the tourist areas, it is situated in a rather quiet area and it is quite dark at night with the lack of street lights. However, our stay was reasonably comfortable with our room equipped with all the basic necessities though there are some stains on the bedsheet. The hotel does not have maps available for their occupants but the melaka maps can be easily obtained from the tourist information centre. Breakfast is provided but choices are rather limited. The hotel staffs were friendly and helped us in booking a taxi to the melaka sentral where all the coaches are.

Good Location”
The hotel is located 5 mins from Mahkota Parade, its one of the better hotels that offers good rates. For the price we are paying we have a lovely and clean room. Toilets looks recently refurbished. Breakfast is provided, although choices are limited, then again at similar rates hotel there will not be any breakfast provided at all. Wi Fi in the hotel room is good. We are pleased with the service provided by the hotel.

Good bargain for a last minute booking”
Book at agoda with a deal of 30sgd per room. Wifi is only avaiable on the lobby and certain rooms on the first floor. Room wise, there are 3 channels on the tv, and poor noise proof wall. i can hear the kids talking in the next room. In the morning, we had choices of fried rice, fried noodles, fried vermicelli, bread and cereals, just your average meal, nothing fanciful. But plenty of eatery within 30mins walking distance. The bed is directly under the air con, so i had a perfect view of the back of the air con, which is a dust ball haven. Location wise, there are almost no shops around, except for a veg restarant opposite the hotel. so at night, its pretty isolated. However, its near a theme park, its like 5mins walk away from the hotel, and directly opposite the theme park. There are coffee places with free wifi and live band/singers just opposite the theme park. For coffee lovers, the haitian coffee shop is a must try, they open till 2am. Last but not least, most taxi do not want to pick up at the hotel. The receptionist tried like 3 companies, but we got rejected, might be dued to Hari Raya too.

its a great place to stay, price is inexpensive and all in all is a good deal for budget traveler. near to Mahkota Parade and few other shopping center. easy to look for food around the hotel too. and i am traveling by ferry the next day, its just few steps away from the ferry terminal. very ceonvenient

Near Mahkota Parade Shopping Centre”
All previous reviews I read about the hotel are true. Although the hotel is situated near the city centre, it takes quite a while to locate. The hotel is amongst shophouses that are mostly not in used. I booked 2 rooms, there is no lift, the rooms have a musty smell, no dressing table/mirror so we have to depend on the one in the toilet. The rooms are clean though with slippers and basic toiletries and towels provided. Breakfast is very basic, buffet spread consists of nasi lemak, rice porridge, fried noodles and toast. But then again, we get what we pay for, a 2-star hotel.

Simple hotel”
this is a very basic hotel. the room is just fine if you are not too choosy and demanding. room is clean and just nice for 2 adults, aircon & hot shower is well in place. however, the tv channel is not working well, but its ok for me coz we dont enjoy the tv program at night but surfing and enjoy the our photos shooting results. the location is not very far from tourist spot and still within walking distance for physically fit adult. what you have to do is study the location of this hotel carrefully and find out the short cut roads to the famosa and dutch square. there is no lift in the hotel and is not recommended for senior citizen and family with young chidrens or bulky luggages. forget about the breakfast, of course its not really as bad as writen by the others. i would like to say it just a simple meal depends on your taste after all. overall, it is mid range budget hotel and acceptable.

i always choose this hotel to stay whenever i go malacca as it is located nearby the town. hotel is clean, with free wifi for a few rooms but not all. overall, it's a pleasant and satisfying stay always with friendly staff whenever you asked them for directions.

Unpleasant Room”
me and my fiance were doing our pre-wed photo shoot in melaka. we booked a room in this hotel as we only needed the room to sleep at night. 1st impression - reception clean and decent looking for a nights stay.but when i stepped into the room, it had a damp smell which put me off. the room ceiling was leaking & looks rotten, which was an awful sight to look at when you lie down on the bed. aprt from that, the carpet was dirty.the rooms were also not sound proof, and we could hear voices from the room next to us. there were also children running on the coridor of the room very early in the morning - and we could hear them clearly - disturbed our sleep. overall, not a god hotel to even put up a night, unless you're desperate and there's no hotel room in melaka!

it a nice hotel and quite isolated area during night time... room is good...no lift landing as it only 2 storys... got a few pub, live music and disco within few min walk... foods and the rest just across the street... near shopping area.... jonker street within 15min - 20min walk... highly recommed... don expect a nice breakfast what you paid is the room and the breakfast is a bouns. got a wholesales toys shop just behide the hotel...cheap and good
