"Conveniently located around 200 metres from the busy international bus & train station of Sloterdijk, this modern, new hotel is of the standard one would expect with this brand & is ideal for 1st timers & late arrivals in Amsterdam. Clean & whisper quiet with fantastic rooms & facilities -including excellent WiFi & late checkout (12noon) it was without question, a very comfortable & pleasant stay. My only regret was my short stay. Staff were professional, friendly & efficient. Check-in & out took no more than a couple of minutes & handled with great respect & efficiency. Prices vary considerably based on demand & time of booking and disappointingly, I thought my stay was quite expensive, although this is Amsterdam! - & it was a last minute booking. The train into Amsterdam was easy & I would consider it a realistic option for daily travel to the centrum (fare was around E.3.80 & 20 minutes). Enthusiastically recommended!"

"Our stay in Amsterdam was short but necessary! Luxer was a great choice for the price and location. Upon arriving we went through the same routine as any other hotel, it was really clean for its location considering that it was Amsterdam. The room was very clean and well presented for what it is, on hand shower gel etc. The staff provided us with an adapter for our English charger as we didn’t have one at the time which was really nice. Breakfast for €9 pre booked and €12.50 for no booked, we missed our pre booked day and asked if we could move it to the next day which they was more than willing to do. We was victim to the Gatwick Drone incident and the person at the desk was very comforting and reassuring and gave us a room with 15% discount which we was very grateful for. They also gave us a little goody bag after we checked out which was also nice! The only thing I could say which would be better is for check out to be 12 as walking in Amsterdam gets tiring!"

"Had a really comfortable stay at the hotel for 6nights, i liked the surrounding area which is peaceful and yet only about 5-10min walk to tram stop, metro (Amsteveenseveg), cafes, Febo and supermarket. Tram to centraal is approximately 30min, or you can take metro which is slightly faster if you change lines at Zuid station (1 stop from Amsteveenseveg). From Zuid, you can reach the airport in only 6min (1 stop). Surrounding the Hotel is a canal, cycling tracks, park and olympic stadium. There are also many boat houses nearby. My hotel room itself had a view of people cycling along the road below and part of the canal. The room is nicely designed where most amenities are neatly tucked away behind closet doors or in a nook next to the bed. I found the weather a little cold in Amsterdam and always looked forward to returning to the hotel room as I could get a nice hot and shower in the bathroom. If I return to Amsterdam, I will consider Olympic Hotel again! "

"absolutely we are coming back to this hotel when we are going to amsterdam. in fact we are planning to go to amsterdam with our kids soon and definitely this will be the hotel of our choice. near rai station and only need 5 minutes walking. taking tram will need about 20 minutes to reach central station in amsterdam or about 10 minutes by train/subway. there are taxis always stand by in front of the hotel and make much more convenience for transport. very convenience even the hotel is not in the center and we prefer to stay here as those hotels in the center will not have such facilities that this hotel can offered. the breakfast is absolutely the best you can get in amsterdam and it has been our most favourite part of the hotel. huge selections and even the best cup noodle that we ever taste. we love this selection after travelling for over a week in eu. definitely a great hotel with the best breakfast for any travellers to amsterdam. no doubt about that. i am very happy that i choose this hotel for our first time stay in amsterdam. "Considering the name of the hotel has 'airport' in it, it is no where near the airport. We booked this hotel due to an early early flight the next morning and to our displeasure, their complimentary shuttle didn't run that early and we had to pay for a cab. Also this hotel isn't near much of anything to eat or see in beautiful Amsterdam. Hotel was super nice tho with a sauna and separate rooms which you rarely find in Europe."
