"This hotel was recommended to me by an acquaintance. Even though there are Bangkok hotels which looked more impressive through my research, thought I'd just trust the first hand experience for myself and book Asia Hotel. I would say Asia Hotel is the finest hotel and value for money I have ever stayed. 5 star service. Staff are patient and willing to go the extra mile. They are very efficient in providing what they can to help you. You will not regret it! I am already wanting to visit Bangkok again and Asia Hotel you deserve my business!! Highly recommend. The breakfast buffet is very decent too, I love the fried rice!! Not to mention it is extremely convenient to the main shopping central of Bangkok. Good work and thank you Asia Hotel!"

"Hotel was easy to find. Check in fast and friendly reception staff. Expect to be asked for a 2000 baht deposit which is pretty standard for Thailand. Bellboy took bags to our room ( these guys and housekeeping work really hard ... be kind and tip) Room was clean and much bigger than i was expecting. Housekeeping staff very thorough and even gave us a few extra coffee and tea sachets when they realised how much we used. Beds comfy. HUGE tvs with lots of english channels. Big comfy beds and amazing comfy pillows.Great supermarket / eatery 2 shops down ( foodlands) good grocery selection and the little restaurant served good food at a good price 24hrs. Was staying with friends who said their room facing the main road was noisy but we didnt notice traffic noise from our room which was on the other side of the hall facing the other way. In all we really enjoyed our stay at Grand5 Hotel and Plaza and would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the heart or Bangkok."

"A regular visitor to Thailand I stayed in the excellent Ambassador Hotel on Soi 11off Sukhumvit this time. I say excellent because the standard is exactly how a €40+ per night 4 star in Bangkok should be.The Ambassador is a big property with many amenities. The reception area is huge and the staff are friendly and efficient. My luggage was taken from the Taxi and appeared in my room within minutes of me entering my room. The initial impression you get when you walk in to the reception area is 5 star but the rooms put it firmly back in the second division. They are not bad but quite basic. Everything works and at this price you can't ask for more. The WiFi is free and strong but does require constant re-entering of passwords which is annoying at first but you get used to it. Room cleaning is efficient and flexible. Long low timber ceiling corridors give it a kind of old cruise liner feel. Restaurants, Bars, Massage studio, Gym, Tailoring shops, health spa and several coffee shops are among it's many features. And of course that great location close to everything. Some of the best restaurants in Bangkok are here. The very expensive but superb El Gaucho Steakhouse, one of 2 in the area, is right next door. For Mexican try the Coyote across the road. And round the corner the Firehouse serves the best burgers in Bangkok. An Aussie Bar also across the road serves up the traditional full breakfast. I would recommend the Ambassador as a budget hotel without hesitation. "

"Considering other five star hotels in Bangkok and their price tags, Moevenpick15 was spot on! We loved the breakfast and the afternoon happy hour for the executive suite. Will definitely come back when we get to Bangkok again! The staff were the best part, super polite, super helpful, always willing to give us their advice when asked. "

"Very nice hotel. Super accommodating staff. Loved everything but it wasn’t super cheap. Super cheap hotels in Bangkok tend be of lower quality. (I’ve lived in Thailand for 15+ years). This hotel was very solid."

"the staff in the hotel is really helpful and friendly and most of them speak pretty good english. you can get taxi from the hotel at any time, the staff will assist. the rooms are very comfortable, new furniture, very clean. the food is quite nice too and there is a 24 hour in room dining service. the pool has very nice lighting at night. and i loved the gym, the equipment is brand new and most of all you can access it at anytime using your key card! that applies to steam and dry sauna too. i've never seen a hotel with a 24-hour access to such facilities before. i found this to be absolutely impressive! there aren't many cons really. i stayed in this hotel total of 3 times and only problems i experienced was with channeling the tv, it shows "channel unavailable" message quite often, but i've managed to figure out how to deal with this eventually. that and the housekeeper turned off the fridge one time (i guess she thought i wasn't using it) but i had fruits there that went bad. i addressed the issue to the staff and they apologized deeply (and even offered to replace the fruits), this problem never happened again. overall this is probably the best hotel in bangkok!"

"On my last visit in June, I stayed at NANA Hotel for 5 nights and I'll say straight up..., I don/t mind this hotel at all..., it represents excellent value for money and for a very long time it has been "the best and most centrally located hotel to take advantage of the Nana Entertainment area". I've talked to many other guests when I have stayed here and they pretty much all come back to stay, year after year..., making the NANA Hotel's clients probably the most loyal guests of any Bangkok hotel. The NANA has a large and very clean pool with plenty of day beds and shade...., theres also an attached large bubbly spa pool surrounded by thick greenery. The breakfast is also quite nice and the staff very efficient. I usually stay in one of the cheaper rooms and it is always well cleaned. I intend returning again in 3 months."

"First of all, this hotel is very luxury at a budget price. Most budget hotels in Thailand have outdated furnishings and wall hangings, but every inch of this hotel is clean, well-maintained, very luxury looking. The staff is outstanding and there is a doorman or other staff about every 20 meters of the hotel. Check-in and check-out was fast, and we even got fast service when we needed an extra room card. I mention this because I read many horror story reviews on here before we booked the place. I only saw crowds in the reception area when a bus came in (which there were many - its one of the biggest hotels in Bangkok). The breakfast was outstanding. You can eat in the cafe, which has outdoor dining, or the upstairs restaurant. Both have the same food, so it depends if want a city view with your breakfast, or some fresh morning air. The Thai restaurant at the top of the hotel wasn't very impressive. The food was bland and overpriced. We live in Northeast Thailand, so maybe we are spoiled. The best part of the hotel was the room. We stayed in a 3-bedroom suite, which was a mini-apartment. It actually looks like the hotel bought a condo building next door and turned the condos into rooms. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean and new, and there was lots of space. We actually only needed 2-bedrooms, but the upgrade price was so cheap we went with 3-bedrooms. The suites have their own lobby, elevators, and secured parking. If you want to go shopping, which was the primary reason we stayed at this hotel (the kids needed clothes for school), there is a 6-floor fashion mall below the hotel. Its the place to get good, low priced clothes (6th floor has a food court). If you want to save even more money, get up at 3am and walk outside. From 3-6am, the streets around the hotel hold the largest clothes wholesale market in SE Asia. Hundreds of sellers line the streets selling every kind of clothes you can think of. We saved 70% on school clothes this year."
