Hotel was nice and in a good location in Budapest They many restaurants around the hotel and also when you out of the airport just exchange 50euro for bus or taxi in the airport around the hotel area they is a good exchange rate for Hungary money just near around the hotel breakfast buffet was good not so boring I been stay at this hotel for 7days and 6night overall is one of the best hotel in Budapest 😁

In general,hotel should have at least 4 stars as the hotel room was stylish and clean, breakfast was amazing and the idea of champagne for breakfast is just so unique! The spa zone with jacuzzi and sauna is a great idea for the winter,to go to jacuzzi after a long walk around the city. The staff in this hotel,for us, has five stars!They were always friendly,willing to help and very professional. We had our flight at 8 so we had to check out at 5,so we even at that time, have got a small breakfast before flight and have got out flight tickets printed out. We really loved our stay and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Budapest!

This hotel was fabulous. The service was exceptional, the room spacious and clean, easy walk from train station, hop on hop off bus and best cafe in the world, The NY Cafe. They do not have dinner, but breakfast was one of the best we have experienced on our holiday so far, and a play area for children in the breakfast area was provided. Wished we had known about this hotel with our first visit to Budapest.

We stayed at the Prestige Hotel for 4 nights as our mini honeymoon before Christmas and I can only say what an amazing hotel it is with outstanding service. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Service – before even getting to Budapest I’d emailed the Prestige concierge a number of times to ask about and book some activities (theatre, riverboat dinner cruise and spa tickets). Every time I emailed them, they were quick to respond and always happy to help, nothing was too much trouble. Then throughout our time with them, whenever we needed anything, the reception staff were on hand to sort it – amazing service all round. Location – the hotel is perfectly located just 2 mins walk from the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, on the Pest side, to allow for easy access to the various sights of Budapest, on both sides of the Danube. It is also only 5 mins walk away from St. Stephens Basilica in the heart of the restaurant and bar area. Thank you Prestige Hotel for making our stay so special.

Could not asked for more. Staff was really helpful and booked both restaurants, spas, and taxis for us. Rooms were super modern and clean, bed was comfy and it was quiet. Location is the best, more central than this you cannot go. Best thing with Budapest is all the fantastic restaurants and easiness to get around to see all attractions. Love Budapest!!

We stayed at the Revay for 4 nights. The hotel must be one of the best locations in Budapest . Near to the centre of the city and close to many attractions and the river. Very quiet hotel . The breakfast was lovely an the staff always polite and willing to help and were very friendly.

The stay was pleasant despite the fact that the staff at the rooftop bar was relatively unfriendly and had no service-mind. The room was small but very practical and the bed was comfortable. We had a wonderful breakfast, lots of choices from tasty warm and cold selections, the staffs at the breakfast room were very thoughtful, attentive and friendly. There is a wellness club and swimming pool at the Basement of the hotel, but with our booking, we were't entitled to use them, or unless we pay around EUR 15,- per person per day, which we found it, ridiculous for the guest to pay such amount to enter to the swimming pool at the hotel. The receptionists were helpful, though some speak little English, they tried much and put lots of efforts for us, so that we had an enjoyable stay in Budapest, thanks to the young receptionist girl, who were very friendly and attentive. About the location, we love it, the hotel located at the prime-business location of Budapest, very safe area to walk at night and all day long, only less than 2 minutes to US Embassy and a few minutes walk to the Metro Station and less than 10 minutes to Parliament House. Overall we are fairly happy with our stay at The President Hotel. Personally, we rate this hotel 3.5 stars.

It is difficult to find a fault with the Palazzo Zichy. It is located in a peaceful area of Budapest, around 20 minutes walk to the city centre but close to numerous transport options. We walked around to most places as it was really quite enjoyable. The hotel itself is located on a cobble-stone street surrounded by lovely old buildings but is extremely modern and comfortable on the inside. The rooms and bed were quite comfortable, despite having 2 single mattresses instead of one large double as requested. Bathrooms extremely modern with large rain shower heads. The hotel staff were very quick to assist us with any of our requests which was appreciated. Checking in and out was very straightforward and breakfast in the mornings is excllent, with a full selection of hot and cold dishes to suit all tastes. Overall we had a fantastic stay in Budapest and were very happy with our hotel choice.

This brand new 5-star hotel say they are aiming even higher than 5 stars..They success! The interior gives a unique atmosphere that is connected to the famous restaurant and bar. The breakfast, roomservice and not at least the dinner in the restaurant is simply delicious. Servispeople are on spot to help out at all times. We did not try out the spa(The prices for the treatments are quite high compeared to what you can get elsewhere in Budapest). We were lucky and got to spend 3 nights at this fantastic hotel included breakfast for only about 440 Euro in total for 2 persons! A lot for the money! (Compared for what we get home in Norway..). 23. October is the National Day of Hungary, and people gathered right outside the hotel for speaches and television, marking the day. The hotel lefs a letter in our room the day before, informing about this. The crowds were calm, and we experience the Hungarian people as very friendly and calm. A moment to remember was when they played the National Anthem, and we where inside the hotel that afternoon, hearing the people sing. Beautiful! The only negative is that the have a constructionary proble that the water from the shower is floating out on the bathroomfloor. This is under work.

this has got to be the best hotel in budapest. an old building totally brought up to 21st century standards. great location in the centre, just minutes from the opera house and 20 minutes walk from nearly everywhere. go as an executive guest and you will have free use of the exec lounge including free food and drinks all day, plus breakfast is included, even if it says it isn't. without me even saying i had a free bottle of sparkling wine in my room on my birthday! lovely spa, which again is include in exec price.

I have returned to this hotel several times, I love it. Great staff, good location, clean spacious rooms. Its on the Buda side but I think th`e location is pretty good with a metro and tram a few minutes walk and Budapest having a great public transport system you are 10-20 minutes form anywhere in the Pest area. I have stayed in a few hotels in Pest that are old and not as clean as this despite equal star ranking as this hotel, but this hotel is modern and clean.

The Queen's Court Hotel is a nice, quiet place with nice big suites (we had a Superior Suite rather than a Standard). The pool & sauna area were quite small but that's all you really need for a hotel of this size. The staff were welcoming and polite although we weren't offered any assistance with our bags, which surprised me. Not that I would have taken them up on the offer if they had as we had very light luggage but most places would at least ask if you needed some help. The room itself was a very nice standard but wasn't luxurious, as you would expect for a 5 star property. Perhaps the more expensive suites would feel a bit more upmarket. All in all, I'd say it's a 4 - 4.5 star hotel. We were travelling to Budapest for my birthday and when we returned to our room in the afternoon, the front desk staff had left a bottle of wine & a note, which was a really nice touch. If you're looking for somewhere nice & quiet to rest in the evening but isn't very far from the entertainment district, then this is the place to go. Compared to other hotels of a similar standard I think we got a very good deal. We got a very good room for our money and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the hotel to others.

mercure city center hotel is ideally located in very center of budapest, in famous vatci utca (main pedestrian street) where lot of h palaces, places of interest, restaurants and shops can be found. well known bridges connecting banks of danube river are in close proximity as well. it’s walking distance to all attractions and museums. hotel is very well managed, great service, rooms are very spacious, clean with refrigerator, safe, good aircon system, modern bathroom, but bed could be more comfortable (too soft mattress is not what i prefer). hotel provides free wireless and can arrange taxi to pick you up/take you to the airport - one way 23 euros). next to hotel is excellent italian restaurant which i would warmly recommend (avoid those restaurants with "traditional cuisine" on huge square situated right from hotel and next to new shopping mall, its lousy food there, not worth the money!) budapest is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the world, but 2 -3 days will be quite enough to see the most important city can offer. i would definitely stay again in hotel mercure city center if i go again to capital of hungary ! please note, if you want to stay in very center, make sure you booked “mercure city center hotel” since there are several “mercure” hotels in the town.

located in the center of budapest, sofitel is perhaps one of the best choice for our stay in budapest also during our trip to europe this time. hotel is provided with all necessary facilities you would required, great fitness center with indoor swimming pool. large room and very comfortable bathroom. hotel accept 3 persons in a room with free of charge additional sofa-bed. staff are very friendly and helpful. great choice.

Definitely one of the highly recommended luxury hotel in Budapest, ideal for its location, service and the well maintained condition of the hotel. The hotel looks especially beautiful during nightfall when the exterior was lit up. Room is spacious too. Pity we did not have a chance to try their spa treatments as they were quite popular and our schedule do not meet their available timeslots.

Having occupied top spot rating among Budapest hotels created expectations and we were not disappointed. Eventhough the rooms are small they are cozy and well designed. The breakfast selection is worth getting up for on a weekend.

Hotel was close too everything , value for money. Excellent shower pressure, nice bed, and very easy to locate if you are first timer in Budapest. But it is without a fridge, no mineral water when check in, and some of looks too tire to answer any enquirers. And many of lamps in the room did not work, cleaning staff will knock a the door at 9 am asking you when you are checking out. Overall , it was nice stay but they can improve on it.

intercontinental of budapest hotel is very nice in terms of employees service, location and facility. swimming pool and sauna and fiitness center are wonderful. hotel rooms are very clean and vidw from the room for buda area was not forgettable. especially empoyees were very kind to hotel guest.

OK now first thing first. We came in Prague after Budapest. Prague is 3 star and Budapest 5star. I never met the owner but communication was amazing. Got reply every email within couple of hours. Location is amazing. Walk five mins you are in parliament. Den three mins you are in that shoe place by river.. Another three mins you are on bridge.. Den ten mins you are in buda Castle.. From there to fisherman place is another ten to fifteen mins walk.. Don't forget to go at night.. I m in Prague now but miss that apartment and Budapest. Prague you will find some rude people. Too many scams and pickpockets. I never had any issue in Budapest. Don't forget to go to the garden near there in island. It's ten mins walk and so amazing Last thing thanks to the apartment staff to make our trip amazing

I've stayed in 3 hotels in budapest and no doubt this is the best hotel, really friendly staff and nice room, they even provide bath robes in the room in case you want to go for a swim, it's quite convenient and of course perfect location, 2 minutes walk and you ll see the tram service. Strongly recommended.

Although our stay got off to a rough start, since we didn't get the room we were promised, there was no extra bed in the room as promised etc. the hotel staff on duty fixed everything right away even though we arrived 2:00AM. The room we stayed in was nice, spacious and well equipped, and I can't say enough good things about the staff who accommodated all or requests and wishes. Great location in the heart of the city although you don't notice that in the rooms as the hotel itself was very quiet. Great facilities (pool, gym, sauna jacuzzi ) and overall exceptionally clean. We go to Hungary every year this was our second time in this location, and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Our staying at the easyHotel Budapest Oktogon was great. The room was clean and quiet big (we had the standard room with window). The staff was very friendly and helped us with all the information that we needed. The hotel is close to some important touristic objectives (e.g. you are at a 5-7 minutes walk far from the St. Stephan Church and 10-12 minutes from the Hero's Square). The only inconvinient at this hotel is that if you want the TV to be functional or to have wi-fi you have to pay. All in all our staying at this hotel was wonderful and I recommand it.

With the tram dropping us right in front of the hotel, the location was ideal for viewing one of the best buildings in Budapest, the Parliament! We luckily had a room which faced the building and it was simply beautiful, seeing it all lit up at night. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, especially the gentleman who helped recommend places to eat and booked is into the incredible Aszu restaurant. It was great and we really appreciated it. The hotel location to other sites, was great. Fisherman's Bastion is about a 10 minute walk uphill (be prepared for a lot of hills and steps on this side of Budapest) The Chain Bridge is also about a 5 minute walk, along with the funicular station which takes you to Buda Castle. This hotel was just ideal and so glad we picked a gem in itself. I highly recommend to everyone.

willing to recommend. kind staffs helped me to look around budapest city. clean room with space and reasonable price. near the hotel you can easily enjoy a variety of restaurants and stores. From the hotel 5 minute's walk, Metro and Tram are available. good merit.

When I was about to check in I was told there was an error in my reservation - the days was offset by one day and they had expected my arrival the day before! However, without any argument the receptionist kindly offered to correct the booking free of charge, even though the fault was not at the hotel. I was amazed they didn't use the situation to cash in a few extra $$ but I guess it shows their dedication in making the stay as pleasant and free of troubles for the traveler as possible. A big star in their book for that! As for the rest of the stay, it was worth every cent. The location is about perfect for Budapest, close to the river, the main shopping street, and right next to the metro and trams. The rooms was very well cleaned and even though small (they warn about this on their page) the space is well used so they don't feel that small. And the breakfast was very well for being free of charge. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! (Business travelers beware, there is a computer at the lobby and a free wi-fi hotspot, but the wi-fi does not work from the rooms.)

We have been very happy to find this Hotel in Budapest. The front desk people been very helpful all the time. The breakfast was very good. I will definitely come back once i'm in Budapest again

We initially booked here because it was central and had a washing machine. This Apart hotel turned out to be a gem of a find. Rooms are large and clean, security at doors, downstairs are has entertainment and food options galore. We were a little concerned about noise at night, however you don't hear a thing in your room. Beds are comfy. The young lady and Gentleman in reception are two of the most friendly and helpful people you will meet, nothing was a bother and they did everything they could for you. Not to far from markets, shopping, trains (Direct line to Baths)and tourist areas. There is a market down stairs on Saturdays. This accommodation is well worth it and well recommended. If I ever get back to Budapest I will have no hesitation in staying here again.

Thank you so much for such a warm welcome! Although my short stay, I really enjoyed my time at the Maverick City Lodge Hostel. The only thing I was sad about, was to staying only one night. Everything was perfect, the environment, the location and the room. The staff at the reception is amazing, always very friendly and helpful. A particular thank you to Lejla and Cinti for an amazing surprise, it really made my stay in Budapest unforgettable. I will have to come back to Budapest for a longer stay :)

The hotel itself was quiet and clean and in a good location. What set it apart, though, was the quality of customer service I received. The desk receptionist,, spoke excellent English and assisted me in finding the price, directions, and time of a local Budapest soccer game. He went out of his way to answer all of my questions, pinned the most important places on my map so that I wouldn't get lost, gave me step-by-step instructions on how to get there, looked up the game time to find out when I should arrive, and even made recommendations for local cuisine in the area of the soccer stadium. Checking in and out was painless and easy. The front desk receptionists gave me concise directions on how to get to the airport by train and even sold me the proper bus ticket to get between the train station and airport. I didn't spend too much time in the hotel since I was out in the city most of the time. However, I was happy with the quality of the rooms, beds, cleanliness, and the patio which gave a nice view of the city in the morning.

I had a fab week in this hotel. To be honest I read some reviews before I booked this hotel and wasn't really sure what to expect but I highly recommend this hotel for everyone since it is well worth it comparing the money I spent.
