Seda Centrio is the best hotel in Cagayan de Oro in terms of location, service, and amenities. It's like a home away from home as it has all the basic and luxurious amenities that you would expect to find back home in the Western world. Staff were friendly and the hotel is situated literally beside the Ayala mall.The food was a bit mediocre for such a place but that wasn't a big deal breaker. The hotel was very safe, as you need to swipe your card to get access to your floor and room. Definitely will stay here again in the future.

As usual, I always look for and stay in a Red Planet Hitel and whenever I am in Cagayan de Oro City., this isy defsult hotel. The facilities are always ckean, minimalist and streamlined. The staff us akways hekpful? Kind, but veru professional and firm. The ladt time I stayed there I slipped in the wet, slippery showeroom. The staff was very concerned and eventually adked fir suggestions on how they they can make the area safer. I suggested that they probably should put safety holding bars in the shower rooms as well as provide intercoms/emergency phones as there are none. This is very important for elderly guests who cannot gi diwn to the libby all the time whenever they need something. Other than that, RedPlanet CDO is excellent And uts lication is superb too!. I hope it stays that way!

I like the place but to be honest, I don't like my stay this time. I'm with my kids and it's their second time to visit the place and unfortunately they choose the place because they like and the wifi because it's s good among the hotels we've been to in Cagayan de Oro. But this time the wifi sucks and I wasn't able ti do my online works, email and other onlien transactions. One day without wifi is considerable but the whole week of staying with NO wifi, is not a good idea. I hope this will be the last time it will happen to the connections. Get everything fix as is comftable of staying the place. Thanks !

Great budget hotel in a good location in Cagayan De Oro. Typical Filipino breakfast on offer, all OK if you like fish for breakfast. That aside, we stayed in an executive suite which was a great size, very clean and comfortable. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone travelling to Cagayan De Oro

Location wise, it’s between two malls Ayala Centrio and Sm Cagayan. The room is really nice, clean and at par with hotel standards. The bed’s comfortable, the comfort room is clean and with good water pressure. Would love to stay here again whenever we go to Cagayan de Oro.

As above, but that i will be hopefully booking 2 rooms for 4 days in October 2012. This is the premier place for me to stay in cagayan de Oro.

The place is good cos they have the cheaper option for single travelers with a standard single bed for the bedroom. Location is excellent in city centre and it's near public transport, eateries, malls and the Universitiee. Breakfast is great pinoy food and they serve you in bed (that's why it's call ("Bed & Breakfast")! The staffs are generally helpful and friendly and initially I wanted to stay for 1 night only, but decided to extend my entire stay for another 4 nights in Cagayan De Oro city, before flying back to Cebu. Highly recommended!

New Dawn Hotel is my go-to hotel in Cagayan de Oro because of its location and the rooms are nice compared to other hotels in the same price range. I love the rooftop bar and they also have a spa. I definitely recommend this hotel. If you're looking through the comments to see if you would book this hotel, stop scrolling and book now :)

Rich Manor is always been my first choice when it comes to "where to stay in Cagayan de oro City". I've been to this Pension House twice and as always they never failed to satify me. Location wise beyond 5 stars. When you want go chill or malling its just a few steps away literally. My boyfriend and I loves to stay here because we can explore Cagayan de Oro in just merely walking(budget wise) hehe going to Centrio Ayala, SM Premier to Limketkai with the help of Google Map..hehe Staffs are friendly and accomodating. When in Cagayan de Oro N hotel is the hotel place to be😍. We booked multiple hotels here and no regrets. The hotel room are nice and cozy and there is enough space in the room. They have recreational pool. Breakfast included too. This is a perfect place from the city buzz and you can go outside the hotel there are fastfoods available outside. Everything is jist fine and just about right what you pay for we loved our stay.

We actually made our booking last minute. We spent the day at a resort in Initao and had to travel to Iligan the next day. The resort we visited was booked up. We weren't looking forward to making the drive back down from Cagayan de Oro again. We were lucky Lohas was nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked our room (we booked a Grand Superior). It was big, bright and tastefully decorated. It was also very clean, something I'm very particular with as I have allergies. It had its own balcony looking out onto the deck facing the highway. A few things to note: The room DOES come with its own bathroom (the listing says "shared bathroom"). However, I couldn't find the hairdryer that is supposedly there. Also, the shower only runs cold water. Only a hop, skip and a jump away from the airport, Lohas would appeal to travelers with early flights. It is a bit pricey by local standards, but as everything is new, you get what you pay for.

It is the second time I was in Cagayan de Oro. The first time I stayed at the Grand City hotel, I liked it, so I stayed there again. The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are adequate and the personnel is friendly.

We were visiting a friend whose father has just died, so we know that we wouldn't have the luxury of time to enjoy the city. We chose Uptown because it is very near the airport, and because it's new. We were really impressed with the size of the room. It's really a condominium type room, with a loft, a kitchen area, and living room. We can still smell the "newness" of the room when we got inside. It's really clean. However, because it's still new, some parts of the hotel have not been completed yet. The elevator has not been constructed. But this was no problem with us, because our room is just on the 2nd floor. The 3rd floor is still under construction. The hotel also has no generator when we experienced a brown-out for a few hours. It also has no airport transfer service, but they took care of finding a cab for us, every time we need it. Except for a coffee shop (Figaro), the condotel has no restaurants yet. All in all, we liked the service we got at Uptown. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend Uptown, especially to those who would have to stay long in Cagayan de Oro.

I am travelling for business purposes in cagayan,I have tried many different hotel to stay every time I visit there but the Primavera is exceptional. Why I can say it is the best first I didn't expect that they will literal and respectfully grant all of my special request when I booked on their residence. Second the staff are very accommodating. Third they don't do over charge unlike other hotels in cagayan because our check out is 11AM then I decided to go out and ask them if I can still stay for another hour because I need to go and eat outside and they politely say not a problem without charging me additional fee. Fourth the place is really quite not much noise aside from the kids who enjoy their day but not really disturbing. Fifth There is a room service everyday they clean the apartment and you can cook they have all of the kitchen stuff inside the apartment. About the room it was very clean and you have your own wifi modem inside the room so no need to connect to their office wifi unlike other hotels. Also primavera is near SM so there is no problem at all. I will surely booked a room in primavera.

At last I had a soun sleep after the stress brought about by typhoon Sendong which greatly devasted Cagayan de Oro

This was by far the most pleasant stay I've had at any hotel in the Philippines. After staying at Apple Tree Resort for a week, I give this hotel the highest marks and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to northern Mindanao. We were always treated extremely well and the staff did everything possible to accommodate our needs, no matter what we asked for. The room we stayed in was absolutely fantastic and included a very large family/living room with a balcony in addition to a private bedroom and large bathroom with a tub and a separate shower. Super comfortable and relaxing and great to sit on the covered balcony even when it was raining. The hotel itself is immaculate (including our room) and also has a huge pool and very clean, well-kept grounds. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent and the complimentary breakfasts overlooking the ocean were a great way to start the day. The location of the hotel just a few meters from the ocean and a very nice sandy beach for walking and swimming is fantastic. The beach stretches for a very long distance in each direction so it's great for those who enjoy taking long walks on secluded beaches. This is also a great place to wade or swim in the ocean since the water remains shallow for a long distance. The hotel is a very short distance from the small town of Opol, which has restaurants, etc. and not far from Cagayan de Oro. The price was more than reasonable for our room and everything else this hotel has to offer. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a quiet hotel right on the ocean in a very convenient location with excellent accommodations and staff. I would to thank the management and staff for making our stay so pleasant - this will definitely be my hotel of choice for my future trips to the Philippines.

We have visited CDO many times, and on each occasion have stayed in a different hotel, and left each hotel disappointed vowing never to return to said hotel. This occasion was different, we will be returning to St. Nicholas Inn. It is centrally located, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly and the price is right. If you are looking for 5* hotel, then don't stay here - go elsewhere, the hotel lacks a restaurant, bar, spa, pool all of which are of no interest to myself or family as there are plenty of other places to eat and go to, this is a Travelers Inn and not a resort. All rooms are equipped with air-con, which the units have been serviced recently. How did we know, well we had to turn off the air-con at times as we felt too cold in our room - an unusual experience in the Philippines! I am certain that if you asked the staff for an evening meal they would go fetch it for you or try to make it themselves - that is how attentive they really are. If ever the hotel is for sale, then I would be a serious contender to purchase it!

I was in Cagayan De Oro for a business trip and unfortunately, my go-to hotel was fully booked. Arrived earlier that expected and asked if we could check-in earlier but they told me that we had to pay extra to check-in early. Upon checking-in, I noticed that the beds were smaller compared to the usual ones that the other hotels have. The hotel had a Bar in the top floor. We first stayed at the 6th floor but due to the noise that the bar was making, we asked the manager to move us to another room. Wifi was a little slow. The toilets were subpar. The only good thing about that hotel was the air-conditioning. Extra Pillows cost P50/day. Their breakfast is ala carte not buffet. Choices were silog meals. Poorly cooked, eggs were burnt, coffee was a little cold and they don't start serving until 7am (which is kinda inconsiderate for guests that have an early or long day ahead). Safe to say, I will not be booking at this hotel again and I do not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Ultrawinds Mountain Resort is a great place to unwind which is just a few minutes away from Cagayan de Oro City. The staff there are very nice and accommodating. If you love to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, you will certainly love the place. At night, head out to the pool area and enjoy Cagayan de Oro City lights. Yes, this place is already part of Bukidnon but this is closer to Cagayan de Oro City. If you are an oldie, you may request for a buggy to the pool area and back. (Roland of arveesblog dot com)

This is the first time I've stayed at this hotel .. following a return to Cagayan de Oro after 6 years .. only appx 15-20 min walk to Ayala Centrio and SM Malls .. and a 5 min walk to the square where you can find all the usually fast food places, McDonald's, Jolibee, Chowking , Burger King etc .. From arrival to departure the staff , receptions, waiters, security , housekeepers where all very pleasant.. and always very helpful .. excellent ( all you can eat ) buffet breakfast .. salamat kaayo and god bless

We traveled from Butuan through very busy Christmas traffic and a polluted city and Kingston Lodge was the haven awaiting our arrival. We had two pool view rooms booked, one for my wife and myself and one for our three teenage children. We had twenty of my wife's family over that Saturday night to eat in the restaurant and watch the band. There was a BBQ on and everything was perfect as far as I was concerned. Very friendly staff and the owner Danny is very helpful. Last time we stayed we did the white water rafting and this time we visited Kampo Juan adventure park. Great Anicycle ride (check it out on YouTube) and fantastic sustainable building designs. Next trip we'll do a trip over to Camiguin Island. Will stay at Kingston again next time we're in Cagayan De Oro.

I would stay that this inn is great that despite I enter the building late night they still have people that will accomodate you. I arrived from Davao city in Cagayan de oro around 11pm and I used my Agoda App to look for any cheap inn that would let me stay for a night but as I checked in their O felt like I still wanted to stay. location wise, it is awesome because you can locate it at the heart of the city and with that you will have an easy access to most of establishment in Cagayan de oro. I am recommending it to everyone.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The staffs are well trained, very professional and approachable. I like the location since it just near from two major malls. The room is clean, but I would recommend installing a curtain for the shower area to avoid the water to splash on the toilet seats. Their free breakfast is good, even they only have limited range. Their dining area is very cozy and you would really enjoy your meal. Overall, I really enjoy my stay.

I read many comments about all the hotels in Cagayan De Oro City and decided that The Pearlmont Inn sounded like the best bet. And I was not disappointed. Contrary to some opinions, I found the hotel to be very clean. The staff was nice to us. They even provided me with an adapter so I could use my lap top on their electric current. This was also one of the few hotels that provides a refrigerator, which I require for my purposes. Although the internet connect was slow- it's also slow at the internet cafe at the mall down the street. I was also happy that there were no surprise fees at checkout time because we experienced that in Manila. The few minor annoyances there would also be found anywhere there in Cagayan De Oro.

We had a nice experience here... The overlooking view to the Macajalar bay and the growing city of Cagayan de Oro is mesmerising day or night time. The environment is so relaxing and having a garden atmosphere was just good enough for a restful holiday. But we would just like to suggest that the management should start practicing composting rather than burning dry leaves. Smoke is just a terrible thing to handle all day. Second, we would like to see new signage and nameplates of different plants and animal species because as of this time, it is already faded and almost can't be read anymore. I think, if they will consider a makeover, this will lead to a better experience of each guests visiting the village.

We were looking for a hotel near food places. Mallberry offers such a convenient location. It's near 2 of the biggest malls in Cagayan de Oro, Limketkai Mall and Ayala Centrio. There's a nearby supermarket,Robinsons. The buffet breakfast was nice. the gym personnel, bellboys, all the staff were very polite. They always greet us when we pass them by. We were provided with clean towels and sheets every day. Also, it's near Magnum terminal for airport shuttle. They even provide pick-up and drop-off on the doorstep of the hotel. My boyfriend and I had a hassle-free stay. Over all, it's a good value for money. If you're looking for an average-priced hotel which has a convenient location and friendly staff, this is the hotel for you. My boyfriend is Singaporean and he swears he will choose this hotel again the next time we visit Cagayan de Oro City.

Stayed 3 nights in the hotel. Dec 29- Jan 1, 2018. Location is superb and room is so big can fit a whole family. The staffs were kind an respectful but endorsing was not well. One F.O told me they the need payment to extend my stay. But i have paid cash the night before. But overall 9/10 thank you for the good service. Definitely will come Back to stay in your hotel and recommend to my friends.
