beautiful hotel right in the centre of cusco. staff service was excellent and facilities were great. very clean and comfortable stay, but prices were a bit higher here than elsewhere in peru

Best location in Cusco, close to everything. Nice staff, delicious breakfast and huge bed. Only concern is that outside noise breaks into the room. Bring your ear plug and have fun!

Our room is on fourth floor. be careful you might hit the roof (I'm 5'4). Breakfast has the best view. make sure you have time for relax breakfast. staff are friendly.

The hotel is well placed in the middle of historic area of Cusco and its settings reflect the Spanish influence and feel of the cities history. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive but not in your face. They will organize travel and tours for you or give you local knowledge which is invaluable with so much to see and do. Twin room was ample in size and beds comfortable. Breakfast offered a good selection to choose from. Can recommend to budget conscious travelers.

We stayed in la Posada for 3 nights and loved every minute! It is perfectly located, only 3 min walk from la plaza de armas. The staff was amongst the friendliest we've ever had in all out travels, incredibly friendly and helpful no matter what question. When they found out that we are on our honeymoon (which we didn't mention in the booking) they even got us a present the next day. Overall the best place we have stayed in Peru and we will definitely come back! Absolutely recommendable!

I ran into some difficulties with my travel arrangements due to an all-out work stoppage in Cusco and the hotel receptionist was most helpful in getting my travel plans back on track.

Awesome location. New manager took over while I was staying and they actually seem better than the old. Fresh cooked eggs to order for breakfast. Good value for sure

We had a perfect stay at the Sonesta Hotel Cusco and would highly recommend it to anyone. The hotel, room, service, staff couldn't be better. Special thanks should go to Indira and Antonio who helped us and accompanied my boyfriend to the pharmacy when I was taken ill with food poisoning, in order to get some medication. The hotel and staff exceeded all of our expectations and we will be back.

beautiful hotel in one of the best and most beautiful locations in Cusco. A few blocks down a beautiful cobblestone street from the main plaza. Warm and wonderful staff that went out of their way to make my stay very enjoyable. Very comfortable beds and fancy shower. Great breakfast. Highly recommended!

With one exception, I give Rumi Punku two thumbs up. The staff was super helpful on all accounts. The airport pickup went great; some of the other reviews mentioned issues with the pickup - none here, even with flight issues and time changes. I kept in touch with them, and they were there for me. The breakfast was lovely. The rooms are wonderful. I had two separate stays - one for four nights, and one for one night (post-Inca Trail hike). The four-day stretch I was in 301 - so largely on the top floor in the corner - no issues with noise. Which brings me to my one exception - for the one-night stay, they had my on the first floor near the office. It was SUPER loud with people coming in throughout the night; I was repeatedly woken up. So, if you can get a room more out-of-the-way, I would entirely recommend the place. Also, the location is a short walk to the Plaza de Armas (main area) in Cusco, but far enough way things were much calmer. As I said, two thumbs up!

A little off center square but central enough and close to most what the town has to offer. The hotel itself could just as well be given four stars as there are several 4-star hotels well under par this one. Breakfast selection was a little scant, but it was free and tasted well. The wi-fi was free aswell as a computer downstairs.

This small b&b is only a few minutes walk away from the main square in Cusco. It's clean and convenient, the staff Juan and Gabby were very accommodating and helpful. The only thing I would say is the blue room we stayed in was too small for 4 adults! With hindsight it would've been better to book 2 rooms.

Located right in the doentown square. Laundry facility 2min walk, grocery store right across the street. Staff speak great English and are extremely friendly! The rooms are on the smaller side but are clean, cute and comfortable. Breakfast is provided every morning. On days when we had 3am pick ups for the treks we did, the staff had a boxed breakfast packed and ready for us when we left. They arranged a car for transport to the airport for only 1 sols. I would definitely stay here again if i am ever back in Cusco and would highly recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you Cusco B & B for your hospitality!!!

Rooms were splendid and had huge comfy beds after more than 24 bus ride from Lima. However do note hotel is atop the hill, and with high altitude, it takes more time and effort to do a slow climb of stairs. Front desk service was awful, but I'm ok as long it doesn't affect my stay

We only stayed one night, but it was one of the better places we stayed during our entire 30 day trip through South America. Excellent value for money. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable rooms with hot showers. And one of the absolute best staff we've seen. We stayed for one night before flying to Bolivia the following morning. As an American, I needed to print several documents to apply for my Bolivian visa on arrival. The front desk was unbelievably gracious about printing off the documents for me and booking us a taxi the following morning. We tried to pay by credit card the following morning, but as the internet was down, the machine wouldn't work. As we were running late to catch our flight, we didn't have time to walk down to the plaza to an ATM. The front desk arranged for one of the workers from the hotel to go with us to the airport in the taxi so we could use the airport ATM and not lose any time. Unbelievably accommodating and kind. Would absolutely stay again.

We stayed here for only one night but we experience great warmth and hospitality from the host. It is only a boutique hotel but you get 5-star service. Added to this is the good location and the clean cozy environment. Visitors to Cusco should stay here.

This hostel is in a perfect location, only 5 minute walk from plaza de armas. Staff were very helpful and rooms were kept clean. Would also recommend eating dinner while staying here

We had a great two night stay at el verrey. It was nice to meet javier. Very accomodating. We left our luggage before heading for machu picchu. Javier was so happy to assist us. Thank u el verrey. I would recommend this hotel to friends. And if we could come back to cusco, we would definitely stay in this hotel again

We stayed here before and after our Inka trail trek. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. We were able to store our bags here free of charge whilst trekking. All rooms are nice with large TVs, the common room has computers for use, all areas have good free wifi. Situated very close to the main square and all cusco attractions. If you want a nice spaciouse stand alone room ask for room 104. Bed was a little small but not a complaint, standard for cusco.

The hotel has great location about 2 blocks away from the Main Square but in the quiet area away from traffic. It has rustic looking building which I like and free breakfast is included. Also the hotel has free coca tea in the lobby which is great for altitude sickness. Hot water went out that night and one of our friend was upset but they fixed it in the morning.

Best view in town. Gotta walk a bit uphill to reach the place. Taxi cant drive all the way. Breakfast was average but ok. Room in 2 levels.

Excellent location on the Main Street. Short walk only 5-10 minutes to the main square. Highly recommended for the value, price. This was my first visit ever to Cusco and had no idea about the area to select a hotel. It turns out great.

Quaint lodging. We had a family apartment with loft, very roomy for a family of 4. Lots of natural light during the day in the living area. Bathroom could use better lighting and maybe a larger mirror. Only portable heaters in the bedrooms but with that and enough bedding, the rooms were warm. Breakfast items were delivered every afternoon and were plentiful. We enjoyed having a mini kitchen to prepare breakfast and heat up leftover lunches. We got an early check-in which was much appreciated. We booked 3 nights before our Inca trail and 2 nights after. During our trek, we were able to store luggages at the hotel and we got the same room when we got back. Location is in the San Blas area, but not too far to walk to the historical center of Cusco. Best part about the hotel is the staffs. Everyone was so helpful and went out of their way to please you. Most staffs don't speak English though, but our daughters were able to communicate sufficiently with their basic Spanish skills.

I stayed in 3 different hotels in Cusco during my trip. Esplendor was our last hotel and our best by far. We had just got off the Inca Trail and came back to super hot high powered showers, a clean room (literally saw the staff sweating on their hands and knees scrubbing the floor), and a hot tub. The property is super pretty and well taken care of. The staff were very helpful. Location was awesome. One block from theSan Pedro Market and a short walk to the Plaza De Armas. Thank you Esplendor for a wonderful stay!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We stayed in a private room and it was better than a hotel. The atmosphere was fantastic! The hostel is one of the main tour booking sites in town and they are very knowledgable about the adventure opportunities in Cusco. The hostel can be a little noisy at night as there is a bar on site, but nothing ear plugs can't fix for a good night's sleep. Overall, I would definitely recommend Kokopelli hostel, for the experience, comfort, hot showers and staff.
