Awesome hotel in Kenting, (only?) one which has direct access to a private beach. Walking distance to the main street, which offers stores and night market. Good selection of pools with heated water spas. Buffet in a very comfortable and airy dinning room, with a fantastic selection. Food very fresh. Highly recommanded.

We loved this place! Maybe it's best kept a secret, as we want to come back here, but we're very grateful to the staff. The rooms are good, normal level, but the facilities are outstanding!! It's right on the beach, with hammocks to lounge in, water-slides in the pool, shuttle-buses to and from wherever you want to go (Kenting night market, other beaches etc.). On top of that, the staff are so nice. Very, very helpful and kind! We were given a free chocolate birthday cake when they noticed from my passport that it was my birthday! I've never had that kind of service from a hotel before. My girlfriend and I don't have kids yet, but this looks like a great place for families as well as couples. We sat on the beach at night by the palm trees listening to the waves and looking up at the stars. Great place!!

if you are looking for a resort hotel with international service level in Kenting, Caesar Park Kenting Hotel shall be one of your good choice. There's a beach just in front of the beach and just 5 min walk to the main street, or you can just stay in the hotel to enjoy the resort facilities.

My friends and I stayed at Howard for two nights on a trip to Kenting. We stayed in the deluxe double (mountain view), which was a large room with who king size beds and a balcony. I was 100% satisfied with the room. The bathroom included a separate shower and tub, and the shower areas was enclosed - this is not the case of many bathrooms in Asia, but is certainly my preference. The booking included a buffet breakfast, which is quite good - it includes traditional Chinese foods, but also had some western options. I am a Canadian vegetarian, and since arriving in Taiwan, I have struggled with the food, but I was very happy with the selection at Howard. The location of this hotel is fabulous - it is about a 5 minute walk from the night market, and has a tunnel that leads to a small beach, where guests can swim, or rent an umbrella and just relax on the beach. There is also a large swimming pool and two hotels at the Howard - I didn't spend much time there, as I'm more into the beach, but it looked nice. The only thing kind of strange about the Howard is that downstairs, on your way to the beach tunnel, there is a very large games arcade.play area for children, and it smells a bit weird down there. The staff at the Howard were very helpful - I remember a gentleman named Woody checked us in, and explained the amenities the hotel offers, gave us two free drink tickets, and a coupon to save on bicycle rentals. He also knew a little English which was nice. The Howard lobby entrance is actually about a five minute walk from the main street, but they have an employee in a go-cart who drives up and down the way picking up guests walking along. If you want to leave the lobby and go to the street, just wait a minute and the go cart will take you. You can also rent bicycles, electric bikes, and scooters on the howard premises. Note that the Kenting Express (major bus that goes between the bus/high speed rail station and Kenting), stops directly at Howard.

brand new seaside resort near the kenting area. excellent view from my corner deluxe family suite, which contains one huge bathroom with separate shower and bath tub. the suite has 2 connected bedrooms with an ensuite in one of the bedrooms. this caused a bit of an issue. i wish the entire suite has one more full bath as we need to juggle our shower/bath schedule. the suite can accommodate 6-8 people. the suite has a decent size living room. this is great for family get together. the entertainment system is a bit of let down. unlike other better 5 star resorts in the se asia, the suite comes with a tiny stereo. it does come with a nespresso machine and the drink(beer, soda, tea...etc) in the minibar is free. staff is very friendly. they'll try to accommodate your request. hotel pool is quite good for kenting standard. it's smaller than the others in the area. however, the view from the infinity pool is much better than the others in the area. food is ok. the hotel offers a dinner buffet and set menu for breakfast. you can drive to the busy kenting area for dinner and then come back to the hotel for some peace and quiet. if i can receive the same discounted price in the future, i'll go back to enjoy a relaxing weekend with my family. their current list price is simply way too expensive for what they offered. for that price, i'd rather go to phuket, koh samui, bali or other locations in the se asia.

I booked Gloria Manor in Kenting because all the good B&Bs were fully booked, but I'm so glad I chose this hotel! The location is perfect - I stayed there with my husband and 21 months old baby boy, but it'll be a great getaway for couples as well - it's inside the Kenting National Park so you can imagine how great the view is, and the hotel offers shuttle bus to the Kenting main street and other major attractions, which is about 10 mins away. BTW, it also offers shuttle service to Zuoying HSR station, which is great to save time and money. The staffs there are all very welcoming and polite. And they have in my opinior great set menus for breakfast and afternoon teas. The room itself is nicely decorated and very clean, and the hotel does make great effort to save energy and go green which I was particularly impressed. I always enjoy a place with some history, and this place is no exception as it used to be the summer house of Chiang Kai-shek, so you can spend a lazy afternoon to read some history books (provided by the hotel) in his study. :) Overall, I'd say this hotel is 5 out of 5 judging from location, service and family entertainment. Even though we were hit by Typhoon Dujuan when we were there the first day, my boys still very much enjoyed the entire stay!

I've been coming to Kenting for over 10 years now. This is the place I've been searching for. It's different because the owners are on site and unlike the other hotels, they actually care. We were greeted on our arrival by Irene the 2nd sister with a warm smile, she even knew who we were. In the lobby there was an array of top quality boutique sweets and snacks greeting us. Service was exceptional. Breakfast is different, again boutique and you can tell its been made with care and detail unlike the generic breakfast you find at other hotels. The rooms are specifically designed by an Austrian designer. It's the little things that make a big difference like international adapters, locks on shower doors, special curtains, the full complement of 125 TV channels, help yourself to the entire mini bar for free, a free shuttle bus to and from the main street for those who don't have transport, but the best part, they treat you like family, you are not just another number, you are a friend.

I could just say that, out of the 1 week that my friends and i visited taiwan, this is so far the best of the best kind of hotel that we had stayed in, good services, friendly staff. It's the choice if you guys visit Kenting!

This is the first leg of our Taiwan-HK honeymoon trip and Just Hi Seaview B&B is by far the best place we've stayed. The minsu (B&B in Taiwan) is a little difficult to locate at night as our driver almost missed the entrance as the stretch of road up from Kaohsiung is pretty dimly lighted. As the room we've stayed is facing the sea, we got to hear the waves of the sea at night and wake up to the view of the water. The minsu is approx. 10 minutes drive to Kenting Main Street (nothing much there) and 20 minutes drive to the various attractions near southern Kenting. Overall a great place to stay with friendly and helpful owners. I'd highly recommend this place for my next visit.

Prices in Kenting/Hengchun resort area are what they are and this one is cheap by comparison. However, still good value for the money. Most important advice: if you arrive in Hengchun by bus, you will be about a ten minute walk to the hotel. Don't get ripped off $150 for the taxi ride. Print out a map, bring it, and ask someone for directions. The bus station (across from the police station) is not far from the hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I had plans to travel to kenting which is not too far. You have to take the express kenting bus from the main Hengchung station. It's about a 5-10 minute walk straight down the main road of the hotel. You can also take this bus to the aquarium and hubitu, a small fishery with cheap sushi a plate of twenty small peices for 100 nt. the hotel offers some old but usable bicycles which I used to travel to both places. It was a mission indeed but fun and worthwhile! You'll pass a lot of places for go karts and even four wheeler dirt bikes plus some places to go paint balling. The breakfast included is pretty standard. Chinese veggies fried rice sausages scrambled eggs toast tea juices and porridge. The bathrooms have full entities and the tv has good channels in Chinese and English. Close by are a lot of street vendors for BBQ and next door is a tofu desert place. In all the best feature is the excellent staff who were very helpful in giving me insight to what's around the area and how I could get there. Visit the aquarium for sure! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Room was spacious, clean and overlooked the sea. However, breakfast menu was limited and only served western food. Hotel is located 10mins drive away from kenting main street and getting a taxi may get a little tricky. It was one of our best stays in Taiwan nevertheless!

Hotel is situated in the middle between houbihu and eluanbi. Staffs are friendly and helpful. We managed to get a car to and fro the hotel with the help from the staffs and even managed to book an electric bike via the hotel. Am able to ride to the attractions with the bikes. There is no water kettle but there is a general water dispenser for use. There is tea provided but no coffee. Other facilities such as towels, shower gels and toothbrush are included. Hotel is a 2 min walk from the convenient stores and the kenting night market.

Very nice place and cozy rooms, very clean. Can enjoybhigh quality hot spring 24/7. 2. Good quality foods. 3. Can enjoy nice Taiwanese fruits at all time. However, considering it’s price, details of services can be improved. Dissatisfactory: 1. The level and cleanliness of table wares are not satisfying. We stayed for 2 nights and had received dirty table wares for more than 2 times. 2. Using too much disposable plastic table wares like straws, wraps. They make everything look cheap. 3. Service quality provided differently by different staffs. 4. We had a piece of broken plate chip while having rice cake. (We got a bottle of red wine in return for this issue.) Overall, it was a pleasant stay but we’ve expected more than what we got.

Though Jing Guan price is higher than most hotels in Kenting nut it is indeed worth every cents paid. Large bathroom with high pressure showers and big bathtub. Good size balcony facing the sea and delicious breakfast sent to room daily. They provide transport to nearby places like Kenting main street, Eluanbi and most southern part. Seriously we have saved quite a lot on transport by staying with them. 2 7-11 stores nearby with less than 1 min walk. They have given us a very relaxing trip.

Smokey Joe's is a famous catering and hotel group in Kenting. The one we picked is situated on Kenting Road, the most famous and busiest street in Kenting. From lobby to hotel room and some in house guests, the hotel gives you an aura of America. Most hotel rooms have balconies facing the public swimming pool. The room is well equipped with free water and soda drinks. What's impressive is the hotel brand "Smokey Joe's" bathroom things like lavender body cleanser, shampoo, conditioner and guess what? Sun Block cream, so considerate, aren't they? If you want more for your family and friends, you may buy them from the lobby. Since the distance between each attraction is quite far, the best transport is motorbike and bicycle. But as most tourists do not hold an international motorbike license, they have no choice but renting electric bikes at about NTD800 per day (no deposit is required). Food is not as tasteful and special as in Taipei, Tainan and Kaohsiung but you will still enjoy the traditional night market from 6:00pm.

I have been to Kenting four times during the past year. Canan B&B is the best one I have ever stayed in. The location, the price, the service, the room, the parking conveniences, the staff, and the breakfast are all excellent. I like taking landscape photography in Kenting National Park, that was why I visited Kenting frequently during the past year. I surely will re-stay in Canan B&B again next time!!

We booked a 4 persons seaview room. Unexpectedly they upgraded us to a 2 level family flat. we were so happy. The scenery is excellent facing South bay. Within 5 min walk u can jump into the beach.n South Bay is full of people playing water activities. Not much restaurants around. u better go to the main Kenting street to eat. breakfast is in simple buffet type. good room, food and location. The is a bus terminal near 7-11 where u can go to White sand beach by blue line bus, go to the most beautiful beach in Kenting or go to have a seafood lunch and submarine boat in 後壁湖.

This hotel is just amazing. Wonderful decors, friendly staff, shuttle to and from parking (which is actually not that far) all day long. Free nightly live music entertainment. This place is just great! It's not close to Kenting main street but that's also an advantage as it's not too busy around this hotel. There are only two drawbacks: it's facing the main road so lots of road noise. You wouldn't hear the noise in the room but if you soak in the bath in the balcony, you would if your room facing the road. Also breakfast is average. Not really the taste I like but at least the latte was good.

its so great to stay such lovely hotel in kenting. mediterranean designs are everywhere. the surrounding is also fantastic here because we just had couple walks to the beach. and the staff are very friendly. you can ask them everything about travel guide.

We stayed two nights in the Deluxe Sea View Room, which I highly recommend. There is excellent sea view from the balcony, over the busy/touristy South Bay/Nanwan beach (I suspect that the other rooms don't offer much sea view, since there are trees and another hotel in front). The beach is nice, but Kenting offers less crowded beaches that I would prefer over South Bay. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and clean. The staff is very friendy and helpfull and speaks excellent english. There are several good restaurants close to the hotel. We had dinner at Polpo Italian which was a very nice experience with their delicious Italian/Asian fusion. Most restaurants close at 8-9 pm (which is early for a european like me) so go out for dinner in time. The hotel is not within walking distance from the Kenting Street/Nightmarket, but with a scooter or car, you could easily visit this as well. The hotel has its own parking right outside. I highly recommend this place!

Hotels are about the service. On a Sunday night at 7 pm and after dinner - my family should never be told that the pool is closed. Ever. And at night the whole hotel shuts it's lights off. Like - who does that?

The hotel is located at Kenting Main Street where the night market is. If you take the Kenting express bus from Kaoshiung, the bus will stop directly at the hotel next to it so it is less than 1 min walk away. The hotel is new and clean. Breakfast is quite good too. Will definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

We spent a great time in this resort, kids love the pool and the location is very close to Eluanbi park. The amenities are wonderful. There is room to improve on the food. and it is not comvenient to get to Kenting street, it would be great if the hotel provide shuttle. We definately will recommend our friends to stay here.

An architectural joy our stay here was a rejuvenating and nourishing experience. Good hotels like this one appeal to all senses and are a rare find. As are the staff who were warm, accomodating, quick to laugh and genuine. They loved their building, as did we, and appreciated how it captured light, sky, symbolism, and it was infectious. A wonderful experience.

The staff there are super friendly, one of them even offer to bring me around the kenting night street. The hotel is just beside the beach with lots of pubs and local bars. The bus stop is just 50m away from the hotel where u can take the kenting express line back to zuo ying station. you can also rent a bike/e-bike around that area. The view from the room is also fantastic.

After days of rain in the north of Taiwan, Kenting and Howard Beach Resort really made our trip worth it. Great pool and good gym facility for keeping fit while traveling, a big breakfast and spacious rooms made our stay really great. Staff was always friendly, the location also quite ok, as Kenting street is not that long anyways, all walkable.

This was a quite hotel behind the main road in Kenting. Great hotel, very funky and would stay again. However the closest beach swimming was not allowed. It's only allowed at the two far ends of the beach, so not just for this hotel, but something I didn't realize upon booking. Great hotel though!

Room and toilet were good. Complex replicates old Southern Chinese style buildings, which is interesting in itself. Though it is generally worn, important areas like the room and toilet are well maintained. Vending machines, coin-operated laundry machines and dryers (working but a bit dirty, just do a bit of cleaning with tissues). Note that there is no direct route from the complex to either Dawan(immediate West) or Xiaowan(immediate East) beaches. You have to walk out to Kenting Street and then to the beaches.

This hotel is in the alley of the Kenting Main Street. Room is spacious, It has elevator and the breakfast is serve to you doorsteps, You are hardly find these kind of service from Kenting hotel.
