Traveling to Malaysia? Find Kuala Terengganu hotels

Here is one of the good hotel in Kuala terengganu/East coast according to my view. The location is near to bus station, seaview, local foods and cinema including some shops for camera/electronics. The mosque is so close to this hotel. It has a pool /separate man/women pool. Parking is good. Recommended for family and couple.

saya pergi bercuti bersama suami dan anak anak pada sesi percutian sekolah yang lepas. saya sangat teruja kerna sudah lama kami sekeluarga tidak bercuti bersama dan menghabiskan masa bersantai dan berehat. jadi kami pilih untuk menginap di hotel primula beach kuala terengganu. bilik superior kami terletak ditingkat bawah dan menghadap laut. sungguh indah pemandangan di sini. bilik kami sangat selesa dan dapat memuatkan satu lagi katil tambahan untuk anak lelaki saya. penginapan termasuk sarapan pagi yang lazat di anjung cafe membuat kami berpuas hati tinggal disini.

Stayed during off peak season, so the hotel was quiet. Located really close to the airport but there's no noise disturbance from planes. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are recently refurbished and the deluxe rooms are considerably spacious. Breakfast spread is alright, mostly local food when i was there. Huge pool area for children. Would definitely stay at TH Hotel if i'm back in Kuala Terengganu.

Excellent hotel in Kuala Terengganu with 5 star facilities. Rooms are clean and big enough for small family or newly married couples. Awesome AV systems 'BOSE' and nice set up in the bathroom - big size bathroom consist of Shower, Bathtub, and dressing area. Thinking of coming again next year.

The plus..Very spacious room, must be the biggest hotel room in its category in Kuala Terengganu. The minuses...Service, maintenance and cleanliness need to improve. The hotel has a run down decor, very old carpeting in most of the areas and the room itself. One of the lift was not working (maintenance). I noticed the comments about it for months now. In my room the hot water was NOT even warm and the kettle had rust inside...quite surprising. Didn’t notice it until I tried to make some coffee before we checked out, what a disappointment. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photo. Would definitely think more than twice before considering to stay here in the future. In all honesty it is quite sad to see this nice hotel in the current state, used to stay here a few years ago and it was superb. It was a last minute booking and the price was cheap!

We find the location was strategically located in Kuala Terengganu. They do have a cafe that's very popular with the locals and loggers. The quality of foods is good. Nice place to chill. However, they don't do breakfast as they open from noon onward.Bathroom, bed, TV, aircond and kettle are all good. Nothing dodgy. Highly recommended.

GHI Kuala Terengganu is considered as a veteran hotel in Kuala Terengganu but worry not the condition of the hotel is just like new. very good maintenance and staff are friendly to response to your requests. though there are some things need to be improved like the condition of the toilet which could have been better and the breakfast provided. while the food selection is good, the taste is a bit on the bland side. hope they can improve on the recipes. at most, the sunrise view is really worth the stay.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. In terms of the facilities in the room, I believe the management could do better in maintaining the air conditioner,refrigerator and as well as the bathroom functions. After all, it was a great experience for us in Kuala Terengganu :)

The stay at Sumai Suite deluxe apartment,I and my family member enjoy comfortable stay like at home. We enjoy chating with family members in the nice and clean living room, our whole family member could having variety buffet breakfast together in the comfortable restaurant. We all like the nice seaview from the apartment and also enjoy the local seafood along the beach restaurant 500 meter from hotel and nice shopping in the "Pasar Besar Payang" night market nearby this hotel. I strongly recomanded the stay in Sumai Suite to whom wish to go for vacation or bussiness trip travel in Kuala Terengganu.

I really enjoyed my three days and two nights stay in Felda Residence Hotel. The staff that my husband and l met were very friendly. They were always ready whenever we were in need especially when we asked for the direction to famous places in Kuala Terengganu. We were given a map, even though it was a simple one but it helped us a lot! Other things that l really like about this hotel is its " situation ". It is very convenient since it is very near to the city and not failing to mention about the famous Pasar Payang. It's really an advantage for us since we managed to spend most of our time there which I really liked most! Last but not least l really liked the view...fantastic especially at dusk. I could spend hours looking at the sky. I guess the next time l go to Kuala Terengganu l'll definately stay at Felda Residence Hotel.

Enjoyed our 2 night stay at J Suites . It had every thing we needed for a quick stop over in Kuala Terengganu . A special BIG thanks goes to the manager for helping us out when we returned after a stay on Redang Island . You went above and beyond your duties . Thank you once again .

Room is spacious, Staff is friendly and Location is great. It's an old hotel but easy to get grabcar and nearby (walking distance) with major attractions (chinatown and dataran shahbandar) in Kuala Terengganu. Breakfast is a part of the deal of the hotel too.

Family saya sangat enjoy dengan percutian kali ini. Kami menyewa bilik 'Family' dan ianya sangat selesa. serta lokasi hotel yang berdekatan dengan banyak tempat menarik di Kuala Terengganu.

Reasonably cheap among other 3 Stas Hotel in Kuala Terengganu. Breakfast spread is good and tasty. Nasi Dagang is MUST TRY, really delicious and texture is very soft. More than enough varieties to fuel up. The GM En. Kamal is very polite and attentive. Spacious room & and comfy bed with 4 pillows. Better than some 5 stars hotel mattress. No unwanted odor. Ala carte menu food is relatively cheap among hotels and big portion. If dine in at the cafe will get 20% discount. Good location. 24 hours mart & self laundry service within walking distance. Halal Muslim restaurant just in front of the Hotel entrance. Less than 3km to attractive place (Pasar Payang, Dataran Shahbandar, River Cruise, Drawbridge). # Management should improve the cleanliness of the toilet, especially bath curtain. Indoor pool abit murky, maybe due to kids not wearing swimsuit. Please check room 1010, toilet bowl has to flush few times before it fully cleaned. Other than this,all are perfect. Highly recommended.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels when I stayed in Kuala Terengganu. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff. The staff was extremely friendly. The location of the hotel surrounded by a lot of exciting places such as Mydin, Muaz and fast food restaurants. Thumb up to the staff that rectified my complaint about air conditioning problem in my room.

I've paid RM 90 for decent room but without window. I get what I paid, but for just one night stay, it's reasonable price and accommodation for me already. Book without breakfast, I've to pay RM 7.50 for glass of hot nescafe and Mee Goreng, quite expensive for Kuala Terengganu area (normally it is just RM 5 to have both). Location are strategically located by walking distance to Giant, and Pejabat Tanah Kuala Nerus, and many other new outlets nearby. I believe, this will be new developing area for Kuala Nerus district.

We were in Kuala Terengganu due to my brther in law Passing Out Parade at Akademi Bomba Wakaf Tapai. We reached Kuala Terengganu on 3/5/13 around 4.00 am from Johor Bahu and luckily we had booked this hotel earlier. This is the 2nd time we stay here and Ming Paragin Hotel & Spa gives the best service. An easy access location to the City, clean hotel, friendly staff and the best thing is comfortable bed. As guest, we can enjoy Spa and Jacuzzi at the top level and this can make us feel relax after the long journey. My mum and sisters enjoyed their spa activity. I felt satisfied because it near to Pasar Payang and I have spent much time for Shopping. So, Ming Paragon Hotel & Spa is the best place to stay in Kuala Terengganu.

Everytime when I was in Kuala Terengganu, this hotel will be my transit hotel before I embark into my trip to one of the island. The hotel is very affordable. They have rooms ranges from single traveler upnl to family suite. And this time I got the chance to experience the new wings of the hotel which consists several new room. The botel located at the heart of KT. Walking distance to Pasar Payang around 6-7 minutes walk. Located within the same row with banks, watson, KFC and few like supermarket at sorrounding area. I’ve stayed here more than 4 times and never experience any difficulties from check in process, the room until check out.

Suitable to stay if you having weekdays job in Kuala Terengganu area and stay weekend going back home

Pros- The location is strategic, there are a lot of nearby food stalls and it takes only 5 minutes driving to Pasar Payang. The staffs are also friendly and helpful. The room is clean and a bit spacious as well as its toilet. Furnished by water heater and kettle. The iron is provided too upon request by the customers. Cons-the furniture such as the cupboard and table in the room are a bit outdated and dilapidated. The management should provide the prayer mat in the room for muslim guest. Overall we are satisfied and will put up at this hotel again if we come to Kuala Terengganu. Nurul-Ipoh

nice budget hotel with a great view. its located just a step to pantai batu buruk. the hotel is clean, comfortable and value for money (affordable). restaurants and other tourist attractions are located within walking distance from the hotel. Kuala Terengganu town centre is lcoated within 5 minutes drive from the hotel.

my room just infront of beach. relaxing place and really nice seaview. Resort near with Kuala Terengganu town and famous place in terengganu.

We stayed here for 1 night travelling from Kota Bharu to Malacca. China Town in Kuala Terengganu is lovely, worth visiting.

Booking by agoda at this hotel can not get offer from hotel. I booking by agoda this hotel at price rm65. Hotel offer walk in rm60.

My family enjoy staying in this resort. The room is clean. We requested for a connecting room during our check in and was granted. For improvement, suggest Resort introduce a welcome drink. We drove from Colmar Bukit Tinggi and its a long journey..a welcome drink would definitely be good to attract tourist. We drove to the town Kuala Terengganu just a short distance. Took around 15 min. visited Pasar Payang, Crystal Mosque & Tamaddun islam. Very nice place to visit!:)

The room was well laid out with a slim sitting area and a flat screen tv. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner kept the room at a comfortable temperature. There is a water dispenser with both cold and hot water. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower and water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful; helped us find a car rental and always had useful suggestions for the city. It was one of the best priced accomodations we have had in Malaysia. We ended up staying three nights when we only intended to stay 1! We will come back and stay when we are in town again!

This place is cheap and very close to bus station. The hotel itself is small, dirty, people smoke inside and it gets in rooms. AC was cold and shower was hot, but Wi-Fi was spotty at best. If you want something nice look elsewhere, but if you want cheap AC room next to bus station this is the place for you. Also twin room was cheaper booking through Agoda.

The room is spacious enough for 4 of us, with 4 single beds put together(2 and 2). The bathroom is stylish and clean, water pressure very good (got hot water). The lounge is a good place for my kids to run around but there is some smell that I do not know where it come from. I think it is better to put a wall to set apart the lounge from the next door restaurant (kitchen part). Overall, will stay here again if visit Kuala Terengganu. Thanks DJ City...
