"Staffs are nice snd helpful. The hostel is new in business for 2 months only. Love the female dorm especially when there’s a bathroom in the room shared by 4 people only. Besides, every bed has a curtain increasing own privacy. Also, there’s a balcony but may not be suitable to travellers who prefer a quiet atmosphere."

"A large hotel with very good service. Staff is excellent. 5 minutes from airport and close to metro stop for a 15-20 minute ride to center of Lisbon. Hotel itself is located on a busy intersection & the immediate neighborhood offers nothing for tourists. Comfortable rooms and restaurant on premises, although we didn’t eat there. "

"This guesthouse is near to Metro Station Marquês de Pombal (from the guesthouse door, turn left and walk towards the roundabout, approx 200m). Lisbon has very comprehensive metro system, so get a Viva Viagem card and then travel through all the different regions. Initially, we planned 4 days because I saw some of the places were quite far away. However, when we were there and used the metro, we could cover almost everything in a little more than 2 days (as far as Belem). The guesthouse's reception is on the 1st floor. We flagged down an Uber from the bus station and the Portuguese speaking driver was very helpful. He helped us to locate No 111 (it is just an entrance sandwiched between shops, so you can miss it if you do not know where to look for the lot number). The reception counter is opened 24-7 because whenever I called on the counter, there's someone there. The housekeeping is a little slow, but I'm not sure was it because we didn't hang the sign outside to get the room cleaned. The room is huge and comfy with proper (in fact, above average) bathroom (with bathtub :D). I think I will come back and stay here. "

"Hotel Avenida Park has a great location, close to the Parque and Sao Sabastiao Metro stops and the El Corte Ingles department store. It is not difficult to walk to the center of Lisbon. And it is closer to the airport than many other hotels. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean."

"From the moment I made the call for the shuttle bus, it was all made so easy for us. We arrived at the hotel and immediately we where offered an upgrade to the best room and best view in the house. The choice for breakfast was wonderful and great quality. We where able to leave our bags, as we looked around Lisbon for the afternoon. Besides getting the best room and view in the hotel, it was the staff, that made the hotel shine for me. From the gentleman who pick us up at the airport, the gentleman at the reception, who greeted us. To the receptionist who stored our luggage. She took extra care with some breakables I was carrying. The staff in the restaurant where welcoming, friendly and efficient, and I look forward to revisiting the Tryp Hotel in the future. "

"The hotel located at Rossio, which is very convenient from and to Airport, within Lisbon and visiting Sintra (by train departing from Rossio Station. There is a supermarket Pinco Doce downstair. I can only think of 2 downsides: the hotel does not provide in-room tea pot so there is no hot water for a drink; the other is the tiny check-in area. It just occupies a corner in 'lobby' and can accommodates one staff member, so in case multiple groups of travelers checking in the same time, do expect a relatively long waiting time."
