Traveling to Saudi Arabia? Find Medina hotels

I had booked my hotel for 4 nights but due to loosing my passport in Makkah I was only able to stay one night at this hotel. I arrived at the hotel at 10pm which would have been my last night there as I was due to fly out the next day. The check in was prompt there was a slight delay as the guy who was to check me in was having his evening meal. I was told to go upstairs to the M floor and show him my booking print out. I did not get his name but he was extremely welcoming and said that he was eating and he would be with me in 5 mins and also asked me to help myself to the buffet food that was laid out. I declined but have to say was really touched by his kind gesture. We got checked in and had no issues whatsoever despite checking 3 days later. The room was excellent and had clean through out. It was very good sized room and was given a king size bed and was asked if this was ok as we had a 15 month old child. We agreed to this even though they said they can offer us room with an additional single bed. The breakfast was good and was varied to suit different tastes. As my wife was upstairs in the room with my child the guy agreed for me to take some breakfast upstairs as we didn't want to disturb our sleeping child. It's a shame I was only there for one night but would have no qualms in recommending this to anyone as rates for the room was very competitive. The checkout time was 2pm but the guys at the hotel were really understanding when I told them if it was ok to check out at 4pm as my baby was asleep for his afternoon nap. They did not have an issue with this at all. The only downside thing would be the wifi access as it is only restricted to the lobby. For a size and standard of this hotel I would have expected wifi to be across all floors. The small cafe/shop area in the reception floor was pricey to say the least. Overall I enjoyed my stay and the staff at the hotel could communicate in English.

This is one of the many times i have stayed in this hotel during my visit to HOLY CITY MEDINA. I just love the hotel facilities as well as the location is too good. Its Just walk from the mosque gate. When you stay try to stay in lower floors its gonna help you catch the lift faster as there is a rush during prayer time. Though they have like 8+ lifts running 24 hours at your service. The room service food is also good if you are hungry at night. The breakfast menu is wide range but for Asian its a bit like limited choices. For European standard its awesome. The Hotel itself is situated above market place. Its just my favorite place to stay always during my trip to HOLY CITY MEDINA for last couple of years time.

Excellent Location Great Breakfast Helpful staff ( Poorly paid employees Hence tip them -Sadqah also and they are very cooperative. ) Five star service by Reception Supervisor MUHAMMAD Yaseen - The one who can communicate in English. This is the one you ask for). You can literally get to Salah inside Masjid with start of Azan. Free wifi no issues at all. Install a VPN ( recommend HotSpot VPN) and use all of FaceTime and whatsapp features. The staff is helpful and any problem can be solved by using the phone . Understand and learn right away which extension to dial to resolve a particular issue. Response time in resolving few minutes. Lastly remember as to treat them with kindness and with Sadqa. 10 STARS ALL THE WAY EVERYONE IS VERY VERY INVITABLE, I ALWAYS PREFER THIS HOTEL IN MEDINA. THE MANAGER MR. NASEER IN BUFFET IS EXCEPTIONAL ALSO THERE IS A YOUNG LADY NAMED MISS DALIA WHO ALWAYS SMILES & helpful, from the lowest to highest are very humble & makes me feel like home. Thanks to everybody

- Check in and Check out process was very simple and swift. - Location is excellent very close to Masjid Al Nabawi 3-4 minutes walking distance (Gate 7). - Best place to stay with family. - Staff was very courteous specially Sagar Hussain (1st floor). - Had parking problem No parking available at hotel, you can park inside Underground Haram Car park parking 3A, 4A & 5A @ SAR 1 / hour and then walk for 5 mins to reach the hotel. Otherwise it is hardly 3-4 mins from Haram. which is very close to hotel - No restaurant available at hotel. - WIFI is very poor. - There is a supermarket, pharmacy, fast food available in and around the hotel.

Good: Location (5 minutes to Masjid-el-Nabwi) Women pray area door 25-26. room service (must be asked each day), ease of booking, baggage collection Bad: Internet, Saudi staff don't understand english and very little Urdu so they would act frustrated all times, I extended the checkout time and paid 100 Riyal for same but they didn't entered it correctly in the system resulting several visits and phone calls by multiple staffs to check the status of our stay. room service guys are average and had to be asked and ensured that service was completed each day its important for people travelling with babies/young children.

I stayed in Quardruple Room (4 single beds) during Ramadan /6th June to 10th June 2017. Agoda offered me a good deal and I picked for 4 nights. Hotel is at excellent location in row No. 2 having access from Gates 16+17. Hotel is behind Al Majeedi and Royal Dar ul I'man. One minute walk from haram. It is in mid of Hilton and Movenpick Anwaar Medina. High End shopping at Anwaar Medina Mall and medium /low priced shops are in nearby. Bin Dawood Super Market is in front of hotel. My kids loved the way Zam zam water is offered in a unique way on our return after magrib prayer /iftar. Good 5 star hotel with best services and location. My aged mom has an access to Mosque easily in one minute after calling of payer (azan). I recommend it strongly.

Shaza is very cosy hotel. I've stayed in the hotel 6 times and I'm lovin it. Checked in was very smooth n fast. Front desk reception staff were very friendly and polite. Mr Saud attended to me upon arrival and upgraded me to suite room. Tanx to Mr Hatim for his warm hospitality. The house keeping staff Mr Rosihan & Rabiul were very polite and cleaned my room efficiently. Shaza is my no 1 choice hotel to stay in medina due to the hospitality,great location (very near to masjid and excellent services. I strongly advise you guys to Stay in Shaza if u plan to visit Madinah Munawwarah

This is my favorite hotel I keep booking every time I go to Madina. The professionalism of employees usually reflects back to the hotel reputation which makes me com here again and again. I congrats this hotel for having Miss. Hodun as one of the front desk team. I can conclude my experience with Pulman hotel in just one sentence which is “Wonderful rooms, services, and hotel facilities”. I love staying in Pullman Hotel and really appreciate Hodun’s help and Kindness. I hope you have a wonderful stay if you decided to book a room with Pullman ZamZam.

The hotel staff first is the worst I have experienced. Don't answer phone, and overall not good. Wi-Fi didn't work although it's a feature that is bundled. Rooms are not clean, but hotel is going to be taken down in July I heard and you can easily tell management is not investing to repair issues. TV even didn't work that well. We found a bed bug, but we really don't know if it was from the hotel or from one of the people from one of the mosques. Not too many good hotels in Medina though. Even the city is not clean and it's sad to see the prophet's Mohammed (pbuh) favorite city not clean.

I have been to the hotel for check in at 2:00 pm but no one helped for early check in. After 2 hours the Agoda Agent from Hong Kong called me and informed that the hotel has sent an email to upgrade me to another 5 star hotel. Once i check with hotel staff and they confirmed that want to send me to another location for checking in. Again it took another hour for explanation and checking in procedures. The Hotel i have stayed in Royal in Nokhba! It was nice hotel, on Eid day i asked Room Service for complementary sweets and they provided me fruit basket along with sweets @ free of cost.. I will recommend and stay in this hotel again!

This hotel was very pleasant surprise. I’d say the standard of the hotel by European standards is 4 stars or maybe even 4+. Marble bathroom floor to ceiling, very comfortable beds, flatscreen TV, tea making facilities, fridge, broadband for free, excellent free bathroom products, seating area and coffee table, Safe, ironing board and iron, and even a weighing scale, air-conditioning, high standard of decor and furnishings et cetera, all made for a very pleasant and easy stay. I would add that for those who are staying for religious pilgrimage, which will be inevitably most people, the location of the hotel is absolutely amazing, literally one minute from the courtyard of the Haram Gate number six. I had a room only basis and didn’t really miss the lack of breakfast because there are plenty of cheap restaurants, take aways and supermarkets locally where you can buy whatever you need. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is like gem specially for proximity to women area of mosque. One can visit your room frequently to rest or freshen up after ibadah. There are few down site as below: * Check-in process was a bit lengthy * Parking Entrance is a bit small for SUV cars. * Parking space is limited and less for peak season like ramzon. If you checking in on thursday evening or Friday there are chances Hotel will not able to give u free parking. * Wifi was slow * they made twin room to quad adding 2 small beds which were not comfortable. (Rates for Double and Quad room was same when I booked) Will recommend others to stay if they are getting $ 120 (Approx.) during ramzan season.

Near to Gate 17 / 18 of Prophet Mosque makes it easy access. Many restaurants and super market nearby. Mr. Taha at reception speaks very well English and cooperative. Nice hotel, descent breakfast, even I find full bathroom amenities including dental and shaving kit mostly not even available in five star hotels in Madina. Very cheap room price from Agoda.

It's decently close taking 5 minutes ideally and 10 minutes max joy walking. The staff is very responsive and helpful. The view from the front rooms is breathtaking. All in all a very good option if you traveling to medina

Thank you for early check-in and breakfast on arrival at Fajr time. Value for money. Good breakfast. Comfortable beds and clean rooms. 5 minutes walk to haram. Jzks for a hassle free and comfortable stay in Medina. Insha Allah Ameen will stay again.

Aside from the odd rude / un-cooperative staff member, this place is great for the money. As per North American Standard the facility, cleanliness, management is 3 to 4 star. Have been coming here for the last 3 years. Within 5/6 min walk from the Nabawi.

RECEPTION GUYS MUST BE AWARE OF THE TYPE OF BOOKING ONE BOOKS . THEY SHOULD NOT USE THEIR OWN MIND TO ALLOT THE ROOM AS THEY FEEL. IT HAS BECOME HABIT OF THE RECEPTION STAFF TO PROVIDE THE ROOM WITH 2 BEDS ONLY WHILE MY BOOKING MOST OF THE TIMES GOES FOR 4 BEDS AND TO ARRANGE THE BEDS THEY TAKE ONE HOUR KEEPING US STRANDED WHICH IS TOO BAD. WHY THE RECEPTION GUYS LACK PROFESSIONALISM.

One of the best stay in Madinah. The hotel is not far from Gate 15 of Masjid Nabawi. I travelled with 2 elderly who need to use wheelchair and the hotel has ample wheelchair to cater for their guests. The room is spacious, clean comfortable bed and good working air-conditioning. The staffs are polite, can speak decent English, and quick to respond. The cafe provides one of the best meal, it's delicious with good portion and price. I was quite surprised with the price. It's actually cheaper to buy at the cafe than surrounding restaurants. The best part is, they will deliver the ordered meal to your room. I will definitely stay at Saja Al Madinah again.

Professional and friendly staff. Clean and cozy rooms. Close to the grand Mosque, shops and public transport. Excellent, tasty and nutritious breakfast. Absolutely loved it. The ambience of Medina is like the calmness of a placid lake. Simply the best place to stay if your want to appreciate the delightful calm and serenity of Medina. I highly recommend this 5 star hotel.

This was our second trip to madinah after staying at shaza the year before which is adjacent to the hilton. We went not expecting much in terms of service as this is virtually impossible to find in saudia arabia. However immediately we were plaesantly surprised by the hospitality and friendly nature of the staff. we were allowed to check-in early at no extra charge at 8am and we were also upgraded to a haram view too. We stayed a couple of nights and we requested teabags etc and we were surprised to recieve these within 5 minutes after having to make numerous phone calls at the shaza and waiting for things for over an hour an a half! Probably the best hotel in SA in terms of serice! The rooms were also clean and presentable. will definately stay there again. NB We were also told that we could check out late at no additional cost if required.

Although we had booked for a standard double room for us and three kids, the hotel gave us a spacious five-bed room as rooms were available for our comfort. They provided clean towels and toileteries and I couldn't expect anything better. As there are no restaurants, eatings have to be away and this is sometimes troublesome. I would recommend that the hotel arrange more frequent shuttles to the masjid nabawi (as three shuttle buses are available and remain idle most of the time), and also arrange shuttle transports to nice dining places for hotel guests.

Smooth and fast check in and out.Ideal location for the Nabawi Masjid. Room was large and clean.Staff were friendly. Food was excellent. This was our fifth stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

Hotel was all the way towards the left of other hotel on the 3rd row of hotel. 2-3 mins to haram so quite close by. Rooms were of decent size and beds were comfortable. Breakfast/suhoor was decent but not great for a 5 star rated hotel. Breakfast area is too small and overcrowded. Not enough place to walk. Only 1 egg station with 2 pans with sooo many people queuing up is ridiculous, they need to do something about this. Staff were good especially room service cleaner on 2nd floor was fantastic. He was helpful, had good timing and done his job well. Check in was really fast and we had connecting rooms which was really helpful. Overall, a very good stay and would recommend.

I spent 2 days @Nozol Al Shakren Medina Hotel it's about 50 meters away from Al-Masid elnabwi little far from Female prayers entrance , but so close to Bab Al-Salam Breakfast buffet is nice, many choices check in and check out was quick

Check-in - initially, counter staff claimed there was no booking. But after re-checking for 2nd time, then he confirmed it. Room - Superb & spacious. Staff Amir did excellent job during each day room make up. Breakfast - same menu everyday but there were variety of choices. Laundry - 50% discount. Wonderful. Lift/Elevator - there were only 3 or 4 lifts operating at this hotel. High traffic especially before and after each prayer time. Check-out - Very easy.

The location of this hotel is very close just minutes from the Prophet's Mosque. However, if you wish to be close to the Rawza Shareef, it is a longer walk. The Catering Manager is very friendly and the food is good with several varieties available. The rooms were a bit small and the bathroom truly small for a five star. Furthermore, the basin was clogged up and had to be cleaned which was done soon after reporting.

This is such a nice hotel in fact a great hotel. The best of all it’s litteraly 1 min walk to Masjid e Nabawi. The reception staff was great and also the room service. Breakfast was good too and staff was knowledgeable and respectful. My mom loved this hotel it’s like u open the front door and in a min ur in the mosque. I would definately recommed this hotel. If u need some super luxury and swimming pool , spa and stuff guess what ur at the wrong place In fact you are in the wrong city and head to Dubai. But if you need more than a decent nice , clean , very very near place to the mosque and with good breakfast/ service you should definately book this hotel. It’s value for your money.

Hotel location was excellent. On Agoda reservation, room size was shown 35m2. In actual, hotel room was half of this - less than 20m2. Mattress condition was pretty bad. Power sockets were not of saudi standard and staff was not very cooperative. Parking entrance is not good for full-size SUVs.
