Traveling to Thailand? Find Nakhon Pathom hotels

Nice enough hostel but the night shift girl was unbelievably rude. After she made a mistake with the bill on the first night, she ended up shouting at me until I had to leave. I never got the money that I was overcharged back. Unfortunate...

A grain of salt is what everyone should take with anything Agoda tells you. "The Earth Mansion Hotel" was so hard to find even with GPS tracking. A problem that persisted every time I went out, which was everyday to find somewhere to eat. There is NO RESTAURANT at the hotel as Agoda stated. There is NO RECEPTION DESK and NO RECEPTION STAFF as Agoda stated. One of the cleaning women spoke a little English and helped me as best she could, for which I am truely grateful. There is one local market about an hours walk to buy raw produce but nowhere to cook. I was spending $25AUD per day on meter taxis just to eat. When I tried using buses it was 2 or 3 changes and 4 to 5 hours for the return trip. So I took the lose and left ater 6 days (Paid for 14 up front) . All the other people at the hotel are working Thai and are sharing rooms or maybe paying a lot less than myseif. So that;s my story of how trusting what Agoda says ruined my holiday. Be warned. This hotel felt brand new. The rooms were big and reasonably furnished for a budget hotel. The staff spoke no English. This is a Thai hotel in a city with few foreigners. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and the city.

Good location, just by the main street. You have everything surrounded. Worth for the price paid. Room is small by ok for the price.

We were visiting Nakhon Pathom for two days, to get tattoos at Wat Bang Phra. This is not an area of Thailand that is accustomed to the tourism industry. However, the staff were very helpful in booking us a cab to get to the temple. We managed to communicate with them in spite of the language barrier. Taxis and tuktuks are extremely limited in this city. The location is very close to the train station. Several local restaurants are within walking distance. The bed was firm, which I actually prefer, but many people will disagree with me. The room was clean, the A/C and the fridge both worked well. Overall a great value for the price.

Pros: - Very large room (premium suite), exactly same with the pict. - Very clean - Helpful staff - Facilities: 3 TV, 2 bathroom,, really great and clean too Cons: - The couch in the TV room was look old and there were several rips - No cable TV, just local TV channel

The Staff is super friendly and even though there is a language barrier they will try to help. There is a young gentlemen that I can't remember the name but he is very helpful even got us a taxi to the famous Wat Bang Pra temple to get monk tattoos at a very reasonable price. He can also guide and tell you what to do in the area.. Breakfast is the best. OMG the have from brownies to instant noodle soup. Its a bang for the buck and I will recommend it. The only down side is the location. It seems where the hotel is is an area that is still in development meaning that houses are being constructed by the area so it can feel a little bit desolated but its still worth it.

My stay at The Proud Executive Hotel in Nakhon Pathom is a great one. The building is almost new and I did not find any problem with the facility. They serve a buffet breakfast for 100 Baht only. The food was good. Their Chef, Nat, is also friendly and can speak English so she understood some of my requests. Also, the hotel receptionists are helpful. I learned some Thai words from them, especially from Bow. I would recommend this hotel for those who plan to stay at Nakhom Pathom. Enjoy!

It is my second time accommodating here. Never disappointed. I therefore strongly recommend anyone who comes visiting Nakorn Pathom.

Room space & its facilities are good for traveler. The room charge is included 2 special dishes of breakfast for 2 guests. And also its location in center of the city when the evening-night time have night market and convenience store nearby. It's the good hotel for me.

Excellent stay, fairly easy to find parking, great location to the town center. We did not use the restaurant, but its location is so close to downtown Nakhon Pathom, we dined using th street vendors.

sukontha mansion offers single rooms to mostly students and others who attend mahidol university. but, on the ground floor, there are hotel rooms available for a very low price. the rooms are clean and the staff is wonderful. i highly recommend the excellent coffee in the coffee shop!

i just travel for business, and there are not many alternatives about hotel at nakhon pathom, river hotel is good enough for business trip

I booked the rafthouse at HHH via Agoda after being impressed the view and web reviews. Unlike most "homestays" in Thailand, this really IS a home where the family convert it to accommodate guests like family guests rather than paying guests. For a la carte breakfast you get fresh brew coffee, real squeezed orange juice and Smuckers jam that even resorts twice the price in this area don't give you. Since the owners are really local they know every nook and cranny for any sort of scenic bike ride/ drive/ kayaking you wanna do from there. And within a half day's bike ride from HHH, there's so much country side to explore which impressed even a Thai native like me. You can bike ride to a floating market at a temple, then ride on a big boat halfway back to another riverside temple. The back roads here have little traffic but not so deserted that you feel insecure. Checking out the non-commercialised communities along Klong Mahasawat canal is must-see. Eating out is excellent at the floating market or at another riverside market only 8km away. But course, do try any road side stalls selling grilled sticky rice wrapped in banana leave or barbeque chicken/ fish etc. Will definitely visit HHH again soon!

Our biggest concern was that it was very difficult to catch a taxi even from the main road. No Grab Cars were available and the hotel reception did not want to help us to call a taxi. Plan ahead for how you would get about if you decide to stay here. Upon our late arrival around 11.30pm there was no one at reception to greet us. We walked all the way to the back of the office to see if anyone was around and thankfully we had bought a SIM card so we were able to call the number at reception to ask the guy to come down to check us in. The rooms are like individual apartment units that have been converted to basic hotel rooms. Big in size, nice hard bed, free packets of snacks and water provided, no hairdryer, slightly below average water pressure- but for the price, the expectations meet. In terms of location, once you can get public transport, everything is close by. 7-11 opposite the road. Would recommend this place for travelers on a tight budget.

The room was great and of a good size, with complementary snacks and water. Air con worked well and cooled the room quickly. My only slight downside was that there were no TV channels in English, as I was only there for one night it didn’t really matter. Location is good with shops and a 7-11 not far away. Front desk staff very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Nakhon Pathom.

There was only one female staff manning the reception counter. She's not capable of even checking if they have our booking, and she ignored it when I showed confirmation email on my phone. Instead, she asked to use my mobile to call the owner to check for her with the reason that she cannot use her own mobile. Seriously...

A bit far from any public transport other than motorcycle taxis, and communication with reception staff was difficult. But the hotel is comfortable and clean. Odd design of the small bathrooms as the shower door and bathroom door swing into the same space so can't be opened at the same time (not sure if this is the same in all rooms). Seems to be in a reasonably lively nightlife area of restaurants, etc., at least for Nakhon Pathom.

The price rate is very good but lack of facilities, bad odour from the sink due to poor pipe connection, far from main road, nothing to eat around the hotel.

For the price this hotel can't be beat in Nakhon Pathom. Everything is brand new, WiFi, AC and hot water all work great. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

We found 2 cockroaches in the room. The bed sheet isn't well prepared (but not so bad). The in-room toilet smell cockroach. It take ~400 m. to reach the university and there're a lot of food selling there.

It's far from the town area, so you need a car to go there. Backside is a railway, so you can heare the train passing, but otherwise it was quiet. There is washing mashine and you can help for yourself. Worth of money.

New hotel (7 months at 02/18) with clean and spacious room. Self-served breakfast of bread, juices and coffee. A nice gym and pool available. As good as it gets from 3 stars hotel. Do not expect the service for the staff as they has a limited number. They are polite and well-trained but won’t offer services.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. About us - typically we seek a low cost, clean, and safe hotel to sleep, and shower. This hotel met our needs completely. The price was very low but there was great value for the money. The hotel was quiet. We were surprised by the quality of the food available at the hotel's cafe and restaurant. The owner's son graduated with honors from culinary school in New York City. Upon arrival, the air was filled with the aroma of freshly baked chocolate cake which he made into Black Forest Cake which I enjoyed twice. We ate two dinners at the restaurant and were very pleased with the food. Breakfast is not avaialble until later in the morning but it is not a problem. A very short walk around the corner brought us to many food booths, food stalls, restaurants as well as 7-11. Our bed was a platform bed that you could only access from the foot of the bed - for us it added to the charm, for others it could be an issue. The TV had one English channel - Fox HD movies, and about 4 Thai stations - it did not matter to us because we return to the hotel exhausted from our day long sightseeing excursions.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were great and helped me in every way they could. Its a little bit out of the way from the main town of Nakhon Pathom and the motor cycle taxi guys dont really know it so you just have to show them how to get there if you can remember yourself. hahaha. I will stay there again on my next visit.

Chawalan Resort is probably the most beautiful resort in Nakhon Pathom. It was a 30-minute drive from the city center. I stayed in one of their Lake View rooms, and would recommend everyone to choose that room type. Lake View gives you peace and serenity, with your balcony intruding out and over the manmade lake.

There for our honeymoon and to meet relatives. The hotel was ideally located and very quiet. It is mainly a student residence, for students from a more affluent side of Thailand. We were there for the Sonkhran Festival .... amazing and must do. Highly recommended.

Love everything there! super clean bathroom and toilet. The room is huge. The surrounding is beautiful.
