Traveling to India? Find New Delhi and NCR hotels

The Lalit New Delhi is a very classy hotel and the staff have been well trained and are extremely responsive to its guests. I would not hesitate to book here again when I am next in New Delhi and would recommend this establishment without reservation to anyone desiring to stay in a hotel with more than a touch of class. It would be remiss of me not to give a special thanks to Mr. Prabh who was of particular assistance when my wife and I were desperate to get some last minute computer assistance before leaving for the airport. If I had one complaint about the hotel it would have to be that we only stayed one night. It is a pity that the hotel did not warn us that we would have enjoyed our stay so much!!!!!

This hotel is very very very nice and chic. Staff could not be more helpful and room was gorgeous., Made a mistake with my airline ticket and realized I came to the airport 12 hours too early. Nobody would want to stay at the New Delhi waiting for a plane for 12 hours if they could get a GREAT hotel room for the small sum of $55 a night not including breakfast. Pool was very beautiful and refreshing. If I needed an airport hotel this would be my go to hotel This is the nicest hotel I have stayed at in India. I give it a 5 star deluxe rating.,

everything you would expect of a shangri la. not cheap but in new delhi definitely worth the price to escape the chaos and hassles that this city has to offer. the staff are excellent and could not have been more helpful. the gym facilities at this hotel are first class. i cannot comment on the pool as it was closed for renovations at the time. i stayed here for 4 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. the bathroom was luxuriant, however the room size was fairly average. the location is good...about 10-15 minutes walk to connaught place (the centre of new delhi) and only about a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station which is very convenient as i would not recommend taxis or autorickshaws in this city. there is also free wi-fi and they were more than happy to supply free wi-fi for our four devices. definitely recommended for both business and tourists.

Delhi is more than intense so to ease yourself into the crowds of people, noise, pollution, animals, selling... this was a great shout. The hotel is clean, calm and peaceful. Staff are attentive when you want something but they do not push or pressure you to do or buy something you do not want. The restaurant food is a little bit pricey for India, (80 rupees for 1 roti for example, when they are available elsewhere for just 10, 20, or 30) especially as portion sizes are on the small side, but the food did taste incredible! The breakfast buffet is interesting... there is a lot of hot food made to order, but they seemed to have difficulty getting orders correct and often got confused. There seems to be an urgency in the service which can result in mistakes being made. The evening waiter was excellent though. A complimentary bottle of water every day (per person) was a nice surprise. In the mornings it was noisy from 7-8am. Banging, doors shutting etc. which was not ideal

I have stayed in several hotels in New Delhi and this was a nice quiet hotel with clean rooms and nice pleasant staff

Hotel is good and the staff also good nothing wrong with it but faraway from anything in New Delhi - costlier taxi rides to get anything... Breakfast could be improved no much choice... Definitely I won't go again not because hotel is bad but because of the distance Real Delhi and the hotel - definitely this might be a good place if you are in a transit

Pros: We were visiting Delhi for our visa appointment. This location was 5 minutes from the us consulate and they kept our luggage during our visa interview. This was great! Cons: The travel concierge proposed a very expensive cab ride(2600 inr) we just walked out and got a rickshaw for less than inr 1000 (from hotel to consulate and back and then to the airport) Overall a good stay and I’d recommend to everyone going for a visa appointment to stay with hote Ashoka

The Leela Palace maintains it's number one status in New Delhi for a reason. From the time that you enter into the hotel, until you leave you are treated exquisitely. While there is much that has already been said about the hotel, I would like to mention just a few of my favorite things that the hotel offers. First: do take advantage of the pool. You are greeted there with refreshments, magazines, towels, and a lovely pool. Second: The gym is lovely. There is a perfect amount of workout equipment up to the very highest standards. Third: Take advantage of the Leela's pillow selection, try a few out. Fourth: the bath is divine. Relax while listening to your favorite music or watching television on the flat screen tv in front of you. Finally, if you have any issues at all, do talk with the staff. They are all highly accommodating professionals who will work to help in any way. The only complaint is that it's location in Chankyapuri puts you a bit out from other restaurants in Delhi, but the Leela's selection is wonderful. I recommend checking in and not leaving throughout your stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodhi. Was there with two children (10 & 8) - it's mainly geared to business travellers and adults, but they loved the immense rooms, the huge 50m pool and the individual plunge pools on each terrace. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food excellent and in a good location on LodhinRoad close to central Delhi. Would certainly recommend and return.

This is the best hotel I stay in India during visiting New Delhi & Agra for for 6 day.The Manager in-charge Mr. Aditya is the most helpful staff in the hotel, not forget Mr Azeem too. Overall staff & the hotel facilities is the best..Thanks for the hospitality, I sure will stay at your hotel when visiting India in future..

the hotel can provide you a saft and clean enviroment in india. expecially for dinning, it offers different kind of food, supprised to found that there was a chinese restaurant there and the food is very decent. located not far away the airport, very convenient for transportation. i think i will choose to stay in this hotel again nex time in new delhi.

I needed a hotel close to the airport for a trip to and from Varanasi, before flying home to Canada. The hotel is about 7or 8 km. From Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi - a prepaid taxi from the airport costs 250Rs, and in a regular taxi, they shouldn't charge more than 500Rs. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and modern. The beds were comfortable and the marble bathroom looked great and had every amenity I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful. They were able to store my large suitcase for the few days I was in Varanasi, so that I didn't have to lug it there and back, before going on my international flight back home. The food in the restaurant was good and the internet worked. Great choice for an airport hotel!

Pleasure to stay in this hotel. Modern,very clean, close to the shops, Food court, bars, restaurants, shopping malls and Kingdom of Dreams (a must see). Next door to lovely park with musical fountains. Very nice part of New Delhi, Gourgan. Pool was clean. Staff very helpful, breakfast had a very large choice to suit all. Internet access was good and internet room open 24/7.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel City Star for four nights after spending 12 days up in Leh. We were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this hotel was. The first night we were in a room facing the busy road and it was very noisy but we requested a change of rooms the next morning and they were happy to give us a room in the back away from the road. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful when ever we had a question or concern. The free breakfast was great with a lot of Indian choices plus you can have pancakes or omelette made on demand. The rooms have big comfortable beds and were very clean and spacious. The bathroom was plenty big and had great work after pressure in the shower. Although there were a few times it seemed the hot water wasn't working properly. The free wifi was fast and reliable and we were happy to spend our afternoons out of the heat and in our air con room. We ordered room service a few nights and the food was some of the best we had during our 2 1/2 weeks in India. Overall this was a great hotel but if you do book a room, ask for one in the back away from the road. We would definitely stay here again if we ever travel through New Delhi.

We were staying at a guesthouse in New Delhi and went to see a friend at Welcom Hotel. Its attractive lobby and spacious room allured us to enjoy a stay at the hotel. We had a good night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast. We were delighted by the products provided by the hotel such as the array of tea flavours and the very high quality bath products. The only drawback is the distance from the city centers in New Delhi. Overall, we had an excellent stay.

I have had my fair share of stays in India, country inn marriot in gurgaon, Radisson Blu new delhi paschim vihar, fairmont in Jaipur, trident in Udaipur, Ranbanka palace in Jodhpur, as well as attending a wedding in Trident Gurgaon, I would say that this one is up to "international" standards. Most of the hotels outside of Delhi, though ranked as a 5 star, do not have staff that are competent enough to be considered as 5 star hotel stafffs. I understand this might be a cultural thing, but besides from trident Gurgaon and this hotel, none of the staffs were able to immediately understand our questions / requests, and provide relevant solutions or help. The buffet lounge was operated very well. Staff were attentive and constantly cleaning up plates, as oppose to some hotels having staff just walking around not really doing anything and dishes are piling up at tables. The only downside would be that it is a bit distant from most of the sightseeing spots within delhi city, and from the vibe of the hotel you can tell they mostly host business travelers, but then again it explains the efficiency of service provided by the hotel. I would love to stay at this hotel again if ever returning back to Delhi.

This hotel is very good to stay in New Delhi. In the first stay, they offered Airport Pickup service, which is not actually free but only needs reasonable fee for parking (approx. 250 INR). If you need it, you should contact the hotel separately to tell the arrival time. After arrival, Check-in was very smooth with welcome drink service (mango juice). Room was clean, and they offered a variety of complimentary drink (bottled drinking waters) and foods (fruits & snacks). Breakfast was also served well with local foods, breads, fruits, and additional eggs, pancakes and tea/coffee. In the second stay when coming back to Delhi in the morning on train, they also kindly offered early Check-in beyond my expectation. Other services were also as well as the previous time. Hotel staffs were friendly and kind. Considering the price in Western countries and Japan, room rate is very reasonable with good service.

After lot of research, I booked this hotel online & I must say I made right choice. The location of hotel in terms of proximity to airport is fantastic. Just about 8-10 mins drive to T3,IGI. The staff here is very polite & friendly. The Hotel manager,is very friendly & will be happy to help you even for minor things. There is free wi-fi in hotel & connectivity is very good. The restaurant in the hotel serves good food (I am pure veggie) & this was a plus point for me as I didn't wanted to waste time going to some other hotel as my schedule was jam packed. I flew abroad from Delhi & returned back when in India to same hotel & then proceeded to my domestic flight. I had some meetings in Delhi for which hotel arranged me a cab for reasonable price. They also offered airport drop for Rs.300/- which is reasonable. We just need to inform them 10 mins in advance for a cab. Last month, my friend had booked a premium hotel is Delhi but he got stuck in traffic & missed his flight despite starting early, so I was searching for something good & this was it. Overall, I am pleased with this hotel, its staff & food. The rooms are also clean & come with stuff like toothbrush & all, which was actually a surprise for me as I didn't expected it. If you want to catch early morning flight or need a hotel close to airport, this one is for you.

I stayed in two hotels during my New Delhi trip. The first had been arranged by my travel agency, and was much more expensive and much less elegant than this hotel. This I booked through Agoda, and was positively surprised. The service was good, it was centrally located and the breakfast buffet was very good. To be in New Delhi, this hotel was excellent value for money and can be recommend. I for sure will stay in this hotel again.

We ended up at this hotel due to a cancelled flight . rather than drive back into Delhi we stayed at this location in the Aero city . There is an Aerocity shuttle bus for a reasonable price that will drop you straight out the front. The hotel was modern and clean and the staff very friendly and attentive .With their help we were able to contact our next hotel and advise of cancelled flight so we did not appear as a no show . Breakfast choices were plentiful and tasty . The room was clean and big with a view over the swimming pool . The stay took our mind off the cancelled flight and we enjoyed the hotel facilities without the Delhi traffic again

The best overal enjoyment with family in years played outdoor & indoor games,enjoyed swimming,Rajasthani folk dance by poolside & danced to great numbers played by D.J.,Food was a treat..Well maintained rooms(cluster concept)...Friendly & cooperating staff...All in 1 best boutique hotel in Delhi Ncr...keep it up Guys

First time in India, wanted to stay closer to central New Delhi and paid more. Not sure if we made any use of it since walking in the streets are ?????. Could have visited India gate, Lotus temple etc from any where. Hotel it self is excellent, good food options, pool, gym etc etc. Good staff too.

Although it was a short business trip, I am really impressed with The Leela. The staff is top notch, the food is good and the location suits my purpose there. A great stay in New Delhi.

The hotel is very well located in the center of New Delhi and close to (walking distance) metro and trainstation. The atmosphere outside the hotel compared to the inside is completly different. The rooms could be a little bit cleaner, but acceptable. Staff is super friendly and very helpfull.

This hotel is great! Clean, well maintained, lovely staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, and very conveniently located near the airport. This is my second time staying at this hotel and both times have been stellar. First time I came with 2 other friends for a quick stay between connections in India. I wanted to check out the hotel for my solo stay on my return journey home bound. This time I arrived as a solo female traveler and am staying 2 nights, departing at 4am of the second morning for my international flight. I arranged for a car pick up from the airport upon arrival, and was greeted immediately out the gate by a Red Fox sign with my name on it. Last time when I came with 2 friends we took a prepaid taxi from the airport together. The prepaid taxi from airport is about 1/2 the cost (+/-300 rupees), but being solo and arriving at night, I chose to pre-arrange for a hotel car pick up instead (+/-600 rupees). ALL the hotel staff are gracious , friendly, hospitable and very helpful. There is a nice cafe in the hotel which seems to have an ongoing buffet at all hours. The dining staff are also very sweet and happy to chat up a solo traveler dining alone. Mona Lisa and Yashpul were my kind servers today. Last night I had another young man server who was also very kind, but I did not catch his name. I highly recommend this hotel if you need a place to stay in New Delhi.

I stayed in 3 hotels in New Delhi and this was the best one (it was also cheaper than the others). The food is very good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a metro station in a fairly safe area. The pool area is quite nice and relaxing. I did have an intermittent problem with power in my room and I was moved to another room when one became available. Sometimes I got slow service in the restaurant.

This must be one of the best hotel in New Delhi. If you plan to use trains from New Delhi station, this is the very best hotel!! Very very nice comforatble room, friendly staff, nice design, nice terrace and reasonable price. This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Just 3minutes from New Delhi station and it is located the very first corner of Arakashan street. You can walk in from the station less than 5minutes (maybe 3min). Staff members are very friendly and give a nice adivice to questions we have, but not pushy at all. I absolutely will use this hotel again if I visit New Delhi again.

I had a an excellent stay in Country Inn and Suites in Delhi. It has all the things I need and nearby to all necessities. The hotel has an excellent vegetarian cuisine and the spread is so varied. There are non-vegetarian choices to those who choose it. The ambiance is excellent. The location is great. It is one of the best five star hotels in New Delhi. The hotel is a bit far from the airport, so plan accordingly when it comes to times. I recommend this hotel to all.

Older property that is well kept and run. I last stayed here in 2009 when it was the Hotel Intercontinental. Attentive staff. Good breakfast buffet. Solid rooms. Free WiFi Getting from airport was a challenge. Hotel does not have free airport transfers but can make arrangements at a nominal fee. Use Uber or do some research and get a prepaid cab. It’s ~45 minutes to the airport. Did not have a local Indian SIM card- govt stopped issuing free SIM cards at Delhi airport ~Nov 2017. I used the airport lounge WiFi to book my Uber but not clear where to meet-far 3rd row upon exit. Driver tried to call but he could not hear me. He cancelled after 2x. EST ~ 440RS. Cab quotes- 2900, 900, 700 & finally Govt Prepaid cab 480RS. Do your research. Watch for people who want to ‘help’. They will try to force you for a tip. If you are only staying overnight for transit, there is a new Aerocity nearby the Delhi airport that is much closer and brand new, high end hotels and shops
