Traveling to Panama? Find Panama City hotels

what a refreshing change from some of the unprofessional, not equipped, unkempt places in panama! They really get the international traveler and don't charge an absolute fortune to get it. Friends from Spain recommended the BW Zen and they were not wrong! I have already rebooked for July 5 and will do so again and again. Saving a few dollars for a fraction of what you get at the Zen is just not worth it. The breakfast was amazing...and coffee REFILS!!! in Panama!!! I have lived in Panama City for 7 years and now travel most of the time circling back through frequently. I have found my go to!. Thanks

Excellent hotel, location and staff... I found no faults with this hotel. Excellent for families, groups and ect.. Hotel does NOT allow for guest unless your willing to pay an additional $30.00 USD per person. This applies mainly to hotel guest who might want to bring up local friends or acquaintances. The rooftop pool closes entirely too early (7:30pm) during summer months but I'm sure it's strictly for liability purposes. We found that traveling using UBER was much beneficial than any airport arrangements. There is NO FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE WITH THIS HOTEL. We were charged $50.00 USD upon arrival and paid $30.00 USD via UBER when we departed. They also have 24/7 room service of which I used quite frequently and I also found to be great. Overall an excellent place to visit and take the family or friends.

My family's stay at the Westin was very relaxing and comfortable. It's a great hotel that is away from the city and offers a lot of leisure activities for those with children or not. If you want to walk around the city I recommend not staying here because it is about a fifteen minute drive to the edge of the city, and not the heart of Panama City where most tourists would like to walk around. Also, it is about a forty-five minute drive to the airport without traffic.

Pros: friendly, bilingual staff; big, clean rooms; amazing views from room and rooftop pool; good food at the restaurant; well kept gym and sauna; great location. I don't really have anything bad to say about the hotel. Our stay was amazing and we'll be back next time we're in Panama City!

Nice place to stay in Panama City; Unless you can afford the same quality in the Casco Viejo area, this is a great choice. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. We paid $60+tax and loved it for the price (we stay in a wide range of hotels when traveling, from $20 per night hostels to 5 star hotels).

I had several nights at this hotel - just two minutes' walk to the Via Argentina Metro station. Spacious room (304) with big bed and small sofa, good bedding and bedside reading lights. Complimentary (I think) coffee making machine and small mini bar. Staff at reception very friendly and helpful - with good English language skills. Prices for laundry are a little steep, and housekeeping was a little erratic at times, but I was very pleased they did NOT change sheets and towels every day - so perhaps their "Towels planted trees", as the hotel claims. No swimming pool, but a gym on 1st floor.

Good to stay if you have business in Panama City. I was so impresses with the welcome cookie which is the unique of double tree by Hilton hotel and it is very delicious. The lobby is very well design but the room is not as modern as the lobby but clean anyway.

Waldorf Astoria Panama is a real jem! Very high level service, unbelievable rooms, classy restaurants and a fantastic swimming pool and spa! The hotel is situated in the financial centre and it is located 30 minutes ride from the airport. Don't waste time taste Panama and stay at Waldorf Astoria a really new experience is waiting for you!

The hotel is very convenient as it is located next to the exhibition hall and nearby all the basic facilities like food etc. Also a walking distance to a nearby shopping mall. The hotel it self is good with ample room size but may be costly on certain peak month or functions occurring on the day you need it. The only bad about this hotel is it beakfast, same thing everyday and just plain boring. Better to eat outside and not opt for the breakfast, next door Sheraton is so much luxury with pint of price more.

Really great hotel in the heart of Panama City. Great views of the metropolitan city, good restaurants, and pool scene. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the city. Right across the street from the mall and casino. The only issues we ran into was at the spa, front desk, and housekeeping as it was strictly language-related, to no one's fault.

Our stay was satisfactory for an overnight stay before an early flight. However, there is no sign on the front of the building to say it is the Hotel Panama Marbella... in fact it is actually in the same building as the casino resulting in a lost taxi driver and a higher charge for my ride. Very frustrating.

Amazing location in the Casco Viejo. Very clean, well equipped, with a sense of detail and attention to maintain a retro style (light switches, bathroom, wooden floor, bedside lights,...) Some issues with the staff follow-ups - we struggled with airport transfer, canal visit booking, restaurant and jazz club bookings - and for the price they charge, you would expect that service to be flawless. But with goodwill and flexibility, we got what we wanted... They have to work on service follow-up if they want to maintain a reputation other than ripping off tourists for their great location

Located close to the metro station, basic facilities around. No boarding possibilities at the time of staying.

had a terrific stay at the hotel. i do not speak a word of spanish and the staff at the hotel spoke perfect english which made organizing everything very easy. staff were terrific hotel is well located very clean and very comfortable.

The hotel is very reasonably priced for Panama City. There is a small pool on the roof with a good view over Panama City.

Really good hotel for the price. Clean, good condition, air con, private bathroom with great shower. Location is halfway between the city and old town- can walk to both in less than half an hour. Close to local places to eat and fast food places but not really quality restaurants. No english spoken at hotel. Staff are ok. Room gets cleaned daily. Only five mins walk from shopping area on avenida central.

Nicely decorated place with a small and clean pool, a communal kitchen and some nice chill out areas. Pancake mix and bananas are free every morning. Stayed in a private room which is very basic but absolutely fine for a night or two. Shared bathrooms were fine and staff was nice. You can walk to the Cinta Costera in like 20 Min, to Casco Viejo it takes 40 min by 2alking.

The location is nice,if you want to stay in the old city and the best thing is so clean and comfortable. I have stayed more than 600 hostels in the world. I have never seen this kind of luxrury hostel. I can recommend you to stay here.

on the Top floor, there is a nice pool where you can see the nice view around the Panama city.Though I did not have time to use Gym machine that are various enough to work out your body.

Horrible service, they were very unfriendly. Dirt and destroyed stuff everywhere. No light bulbs in some rooms - yes you have to ask for ligh bulbs!!! Hotel next to big street so the noise is all night long. Very old, loud and dirty AC

I stayed in the Hotel Tower House Suites after experiencing a nightmare situation at another hotel, and was glad I did so. The room was a good size with a small kitchenette, clean, and the AC was an amazing escape from the Panama weather. Would go back to Hotel Tower House Suites next time I'm in Panama City.

Great building on quiet residental with lots of space and good cooking area. We could walk to the bay and see the canal entry or jump on a bus to the end of the causeway for 25cent. You can take a bus from the end of the road to albrook then anywhere in the city. Great fun and small pool to cool down in. Thanks again for letting us stay.

I stayed 2 weeks with no regret. They can improve the internet connection in the rooms and the business center, other than that, all good there. Clean, close to subway station, close to the best area for a walk in Panama, Cinta Costera, you cannot miss this

We do have a great stay in Continental Hotel & Casino . Totally we stay 5 nights in this hotel .The room we have was big and nice .If we are again in Panama City and we would like to stay at this Hotel . Only one matter is this hotel have not free WIFI in the room . The rest was good .

Nice hotel, casino is best in Panama City, service was good, attentive staff, food was very good, I would stay here again.
