Traveling to Vietnam? Find Phu Quoc Island hotels

It is a very good place to stay if you want to spend a lot of time at Vinpearl park or play golf. There are a lot of things to do for children: amusement park, waterpark, aquarium, games center, etc. All of it is included in the room rate. Good point about these places was that there weren't many people, especially comparing to Vinpearl park in Nha Trang. So you just come to any roller coaster or water ride and without waiting use it as many times as you want. The rooms were ok, comparing to five-star hotels in other countries rather simple. But everything was clean and new. The prices at the bar are overpriced. The restaurant food was delicious and of a large variety. One of the best locations in Phu Quoc island: beautiful territory, very nice beach area and a great-great pool. Not far from hotel is Turtle island known for its coral reef. I recommend going there for snorkling.

There is something very special about Salinda Resort. The staffs are warm, friendly, sincere, attentive and helpful. My husband and I stayed there for 3 nights at the Garden Villa. The room is big, clean, comfortable bed and nice warm layout making it relaxing even though there is construction going on next to the resort. The noise didn't affect our stay there. The resort maintains the grounds very well. Beautiful gardens and not forgetting the relaxing pool. NIce cocktails at the poolside bar. The sunset at the beach of the resort is something spectacular and not to be missed. So relaxed with the sounds of the waves at the beach and see the lovely sky. Bring your camera and take pictures of the breathtaking sunset. The breakfast buffet is delicious and good variety. Staffs are super efficient and attentive. Courteous and speak English. We truly enjoyed our stay at Salinda Resort. We want to compliment staffs Ms Ngoc at the restaurants for her good recommendation in helping us to select delicious dishes from the menu. Ms Hong, the Guest Experience Manager for her kind concern and attention when I hurt my right leg (I'm ok now. Thanks for the ice packed in the towel) and the cheerful front desk Ms Lap for suggestions made to our day tour. Not forgetting the delicious Crab House, a place not to miss if you are in Phu Quoc. Crabs there are awesome and delicious. Overall, Salinda Resort has exceeded our 5 star expectation. The staffs play a great role in making our stay such a lovely and memorable one. Thank you and we will be back if we come to Phu Quoc again. Thumbs up Salinda Resort !

Nam Nghi is a brandnew five star resort located on a penisula in the north-west Phu Quoc. It features beach villas where you can enjoy both the sunrise and the sunset. The minibar is richly filled with soft drinks, chocolate, French wine, whiskey and Remy Martin, etc. It's also worth mentioning that the TV system not only includes HD cable TV channels, but also on-demand categorized HD Bluray movies which is something none of the other five-star hotels can offer in Phu Quoc. The pool area is ideally placed just in front of the private beach area and offers comfortable sunbeds and a pool bar. Opposite the penisula, only some 200 metres away, you will find an exclusive, beautiful small island with another private beach and a restaurant which is currently under construction. We would love to experience a dinner there once it's finished. The staff is service-minded and will make sure you'll get a pleasant stay and the uttermost of your vacation. This is the place to go whether you want a few days break from some work in Vietnam (like in my case) or you are going for some regular vacation. The resort has done an excellent job in preserving the original nature which gives an extra touch to the overall experience compared to other five star resorts on the island. The beaches in Phu Quoc are not like in Maldives or French Polynesia, but if you've already been at those resorts a number of times, Nam Nghi is the place to go for a divine excursion into the best of what Phu Quoc has to offer.

The location is great, we can walk to the night market. Morning buffet was also amazing, the pool and beach is also great. But we’re disappointed because the pool was closed at 7 pm. Swimming and drinking at night is one of the best part of holiday in Phu Quoc island, it should be opened till 9 or 10 pm.

It is indeed a very good resort with large space covered by lots of trees, spacious room with awesome furniture and good customer service. Room rate is quite reasonable given it is a 5-star resort. The location is also good to as it is located 5 km around Duong Dong town where visitors can find a variety of restaurants and access to Phu Quoc Night Market. The Shells Resort and Spa is worth a visit when you have chance to visit Phu Quoc Island.

I was already three times on Phu Quoc Island and the Saigon Phu Quoc Resort and Spa is the best hotel I was there till now. The location is great because it's also very close for walking to the town center and night market. To other side you can walk a long way along the beach and visit fish restaurants, bars and other nice places. The bungalows was great and very comfortable. Clean and big. The beach is closeset your house. The breakfast buffet was also great with lot of varieties of vietnamese and western food. We can really recommand that hotel!!

We wanted some quiet peaceful time together and we got just that at the resort. It was at a beautiful location and Phu Quoc beach was by far the best I've experienced. Our fridge didn't work well, the water pressure was inconsistent so we had a call and someone was sent promptly to fix that. Great service overall.

Lahana resort is a hidden gem in Phu Quoc.. amazing surroundings, the pool is a dream and the rooms are beautiful and with all necessary amenities. Staff is really friendly although sometimes hard to communicate because they mainly don’t speak fluent english. The breakfast was great and with a lot of variety.. the hotel was great value for the money! We were very pleased with our choice.. we would definately come back! Location is also amazing if you rent a bike (which is much better to get to know the island) We truly recommend

Except for the water pressure from my room shower. Every are just too perfect to be true. Beach is so much cleaner and beautiful than Sao Beach (what everyone saying the best beach in Phu Quoc in the net). Friendly staff. Bars are fabulous. Foods and beverages are reasonable price. Breakfast variety are way above expectation. Worth every penny of mine staying in this hotel. If you choose staying in this hotel meaning you are expecting spending time (chill) within the hotel’s property as it is quite isolated from the busy town centre. The hotel provide free shuttle to and from airport, they also provide free shuttle service to town.

we stayed in this resort while some part of it was under completion. however, this is a promising one to be the best resort in phu quoc island. the room is spacious and lovely designed with a balcony heading to the sea, and also the bathroom has the ocean view. the location of this resort is far away from the duong dong town so tourists can enjoy the wild nature of this island. we'd love to come back this resort one day in the future.

Well what can I say, this is the best hotel I think in entire Phu Quoc Island. Our Room was absolutely amazing! The breathtaking view of the sea, glassed bathroom , We got a welcome gift of a bowl of fresh fruits a Vitenamese Hat and SOL Tote Bag, The food was INCREDIBLE. The staff were WONDERFUL most especially Lance the Filipino Manager heading the reception. The pool and how it was designed was something that you would really come back for more, facing towards the sweet and tranquil atmosphere of the beach, mini bar in the pool makes it more interesting and worthy. The cabanas set up for kids are absolutely a plus! My daughter enjoyed every minute of OUR STAY! I was having traveller’s diarrhea this time but my husband and daughter loved their food so much!

Stayed there for 2 nights. The hotels location is just 1km away from the night market. Hence, you can walk out and in easily. Ammenities is a bit dated, but acceptable, just as other hotels/ resorts in Phu Quoc, their grade all sub-par to normal standard on mainland. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have free airport pickup service. And in our last day, due to bad schedule of VietJer Air, our flight has to be delayed for 4 hours. The hotel prepare a private comfortable room with air con for us to rest and wait. And, it's free! Their restaurant quality also very good. No need to have dinner outside. My highly recommended!

We got a last-minute booking here over Christmas and the place was great! Fantastic staff, good food, fun Christmas decor and Santa arriving by boat to the beachfront holiday party. We had been upgraded into a larger bungalow upon arrival, then asked to move to our normal class bungalow when another (unplanned booking?) family arrived - it was a minor nuisance to move, but frankly they were so kind and it was an upgrade anyway, that it was okay. Both rooms were great. Each place has a fair amount of privacy, and all close to the pool or beach. We really enjoyed our stay and would return if ever back in Phu Quoc.

We stayed in a deluxe villa with two rooms. The room is spacious and clean. The resort is on the beach with calm waters and fantastic sunset views. The resort staff provides good service (especially F&B Manager Chinh and his service staff) who makes sure the guests are happy. There are no restaurants around the resort but the food in the resort is reasonably priced. Unfortunately the spa is not ready and the gym is too small. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay. Generally English is still not widely understood in Phu Quoc.

I 've stayed at this hotel for 3 days with my mom and baby. When we arrived, staffs welcomed us with warmhearts. All the facilities and restaurants are so clean and nice and lots of staffs were managing gardens in the resort so hard. Swimming pool and connected beach were so clean and well-managed. Above all, we were so impressed by attitude and mind of the staffs. University Tour program was so exciting! And I would like thank staffs who saw us off and took a picture for us when we left. I wish to visit Marriot Phu Quoc again soon!

I love this hotel so much. The location is a little bit far but you can enjoy wonderful times for driving the motorbike from the hotel to the central of this island. All the services is really good. The room are nice and the staff also really nice and friendly... I love this hotel and of course I will come back here again... This is the only hotel that I feel relax and good in Phu Quoc Island.

The resort has a nice location, only 15 minutes from the airport (100,000 VND taxi). It's near the center of Phu Quoc island, make it easy to travel to the attractions in north and south. Has private beach, the water itself is clean, but there are plastic bags from other tourists (actually I found that is a common problem in Phu Quoc, some of the local restaurants and hotels are working on cleaning the island, so please keep it clean when you stay in Phu Quoc). Nice waves and the beach face west so you can enjoy sunset right on the beach. Polite and helpful staff, ready to help you on everything. Buffet breakfast, many dishes to select, with a lot of fruits, which is my favorite. Breakfast time is as early as 7am and end at 9:30am, that is suitable for Vietnamese people but I think that is a bit early for foreigner. Some said about their problem with air con or water in the bathroom, I say just call the staffs, they will fix it right away. There are mosquitoes and a bit of bugs, that is normal because of the garden, just buy a mosquito repellent gel or spray (on your skin) from the pharmacy's and no more problem, you can also use it when visiting other places on the island and the islets.

We planned to stay for 3 nights, but stayed for 11! The best vacation! Great bungalow with view over pool and sea. Fantastic! Comfort beds, Good cleaning, friendly staff who gives the best service 24/7! Helped us to the doctor, rented motorbikes, gave great suggestions what to do, eat and see, not only "tourist traps". Great beach, Good Breakfast, superfriendly staff, massage by the ocean. Outdoor gym. Our kids loved it and so did We. Best place in Phu Quoc!!! Should be a 4 star!

Clean rooms, courteous staff, good service, swimming pool overlooking the sea is very clean and beautiful, food is good, The next time if the opportunity to stay in Phu Quoc will choose here.

We really loved the Thanh Kieu Resort. We were in Phu Quoc for 4-nights in February. The weather was tolerable and the ocean at that time is clean and not rough at all. The location, the beach, the staff. We really didn't know what to expect but when we got there, we were blown away. The bungalows, although a tad rustic, were quaint and comfy. The semi-outdoor bathroom/showers were gorgeous. You can walk or rent a scooter and explore the strip where there's plenty of restaurants and bars. Check out the Night Market for good street food and souvenirs. The restaurant at the resort was somewhat pricey, but they had some good food and the staff there was also great. Phu Quoc is a tad more expensive than the rest of Vietnam but not bank-breaking. I would love to come back here.

Without doubt, this is one of the top favorite hotels to stay in Phu Quoc island ever. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by all the staffs. The staffs were extremely friendly and the restaurant is very flexible. We had two awesome nights here and felt very relaxed which obviously added up to our experience. The room were super clean and we surprisingly received good night greetings with the lovely cakes every evening here. The pool is great and the view is awesome. Would definitely come back here soon!

Must to say that we decided to extend one more night because hotel’s service is very excellent. We really enjoyed the hospitality from the staff here. The way they served food, drinks and the way they guided us to explore Phu Quoc. Everything is AMAZING.The Operation manager and staffs were really helpful and considerate to us as we are staying one of the most valued hotel in Phu Quoc. The beautiful scene of Phu Quoc and the lovely and comfortable hotel really gave us a great trip. We will consider going back again for another day because 2 nights are not enough

Don't think you can stay anywhere better in phu Quoc right now. This resort is truly amazing and the staff is super service minded. Love it and would recommend it to both couples and families. Only downside is that it is a bit off location but all resorts here are and since the beach is the best on the island there is little need to go anywhere else other than some excursions.

We really like the swimming pool and the beach of this resort. The beach is very clean, compared to the others in Phu Quoc. The pool is very well suited to the young children because it is not too deep and just next to the beach. We really appreciate the staff as well, especially those in the two restaurants. They are very helpful and lovely. Overall, we definitely come back to Anja for our next trips in Phu Quoc.

I visited Phu Quoc Island with 3 of my girlfriends and we had the most magical time at Sea Sense resort. we rented two of the beach front villas and their location was breathtaking. you can see the sea from your four poster bed and watch the sunset from your balcony. The Hotel is quite far from the main town so we spent most of our time in the resort and ate lunch there everyday. The food we had was fantastic! We stuck to the vietnamese options and they were all sensational, i especially recommend the bun thit nuong. we also made the most of the 3 hour happy hour from 2-5 everyday and the cocktails were all great, definitely some of the best i've had in vietnam! you can get a taxi to the nightmarket for around 120,000 vnd (about £3.50), it's definitely worth the trip, loads of amazingly fresh sea food for super cheap prices. the staff at sea sense were attentive and friendly throughout our stay, organising taxis and making us feel like part of the sea sense family!

I had my business trip there and it was really surprised me. It deserved over 4 stars actually. A very quiet place but right in the center of the town. Very convenience. They give me free use of bicycle at any time I want to go out. The staffs are so friendly, helpful and they did everything possible to make me comfortable. The manager is very professional, efficient and helpful make me feel like I was staying in a 5 stars hotel. The food is great, big breakfast buffet and various selections on the lunch and dinner so you don’t have to go far. The rooms are very lovely, comfortable and especially very clean. The pool is fantastic with amazing views on Phu Quoc Island and great sunsets. I will recommend my friends.

I have almost nothing negative to say about La Mer Resort, cozy rooms with a bungalow-feeling, amazing environment with a lot of trees and greenery. Free bottles of water in the room, varied breakfast with a lot of choices. Great helpful staff, clean and a Big pool with sunbeds and towels supplied by the hotel. The location is perfekt with a lot of restaurants and smal mini-markets along the streets, also motorbikes for hiering. I can really recommend the coco bar that’s not far from the hotel. The only negative I have to say it’s that the WiFi is pretty slow and unstable. But I will absolutely recommend La Mer Resort to everyone who will visit Phu Quoc Island. I really enjoyed our stay! We almost felt the value for what the pics showed was too good to be true but when we arrived we were even more happy! We had the two bedroom villa and it was gorgeous! Immediately you felt at home in this beautiful villa. Everything felt like great quality and the beds, sofas, chairs were all very comfortable. The private pool was amazing and the landscaping made it all feel so tranquil and peaceful. Absolutely no complaints. Our only issue was the limited English but that is par with the course in Phu Quoc so its not really anything to complain about. Vinpearlland was awesome, and our boys loved it. The beach was empty and stunning so privacy and space was never an issue. The food wasn't very good in that it was boring after the second night. Being about a 45 minute ride to the main city meant that outside food options were not that close. We did take the evening shuttle to the market to eat dinner a couple of times in order to get away from the buffets. Will be back though!
