"Pros: excellent location, beside Jungceylon and walking distance to Bazaan. Good for family w young kids. We could get food and shopping during the day. Then night activities after dark. It’s not by the roadside so away from the noise. Massage and taxi just at the door step. You can easier arrange for transport around Phuket w/o prior booking. Breakfast is decent for the price. Very clean and new. Love their family room too! Came w a living room and sink for washing. Gave a 4 star for cleanliness bcos of the bed, find it a little dusty. I had to dust it myself. Con: no connecting room and my 2 rooms wasn’t arranged beside each other even though the next room was empty. "

"Staying in this hotel for a few days get away, it is such a private, peaceful hotel, really fits its name. Ocean view is so fantastic. Watching sunset one evening and it was so beautiful. Swimming pool has the best view of the ocean as well, even don't swim, I still took many times staring the great view. This hotel makes me feel so peace in mind. Room is so big and the price is cheap in this low season. Only 5 mins by hotel shuttle bus - free! to the most beautiful beach in Phuket - Karon Beach. Nice and convenience. The foods are also very good and the waiters are very polite. Hotel restaurant also has the best view of the Karon bay. Really the best hotel for quite peaceful vacation. Wish I could stay more time here."

"hotel has been taken over by swissotel on 1 april - so after our original booking. we were upgraded from a 2 bed appartment to a 3 bed appartment which was enormous. also had a huge wrap around balcony as it was on the top (3rd) floor of the hotel. kitchen is basically a fridge sink and microwave so no cooker. but it's so cheap to eat oiut we didn't or wasnt going to use that anyway. pool is great and the hotel was busy for easter weekend but quieter afterwards. lots of families and extended families on holiday so wouldnt recommend for young couple. beach is literally a 5 min walk away (if that). best part of kamala beach too as it's away from the main drag. beach was beautiful and wonderful for the children. there was a tsunami alert whilst we were there and we had to evacuate - but this was just a walk up the mountain/hill behind the hotel. we were very lucky and nothing happened. however just be mindful that this could happen and think what you'd need in a grab bag - mosquito repellant - wet and dry flannels - towels to sit on - torch and your valuables and passports (not suitcase just small bag. breakfasts were wonderful withy best poached eggs made to order i've ever tasted. children ate too many of the wonderful pastries though! happy hour (2 for 1) is between 4 and 7 and includes all drinks - even childrens milkshakes so worth having one (or 2) before leaving the pool to get ready for a night out. kamala - as most of phuket is serviced by what they call the taxi mafia - just over priced taxis. grab a taxi from the airport & it's baht. try to get their number to use again if possible. if not it's baht return journey from taxis near hotel. "Location is key for any new travelers visiting Phuket, was next to the beach, and a short walk to practically anywhere in Patong. Facilities were very clean, hotel is new. Minor things are off, like an impractical sink in the middle of the room, and light switches for every light bulb, but overall really enjoyed the hotel. Great rooftop pool and bar with scenic views of Patong and Patong beach, with good amenities at your doorstep, including a Muay Thai ring, and night market. Breakfast was good too, I would recommend to any group of traveler visiting for the first time!"

"It was my first time to Phuket and I was conscious about where to stay, so I did my homework for 2 months beforehand. Only in the end, I decided to choose to stay in Sleep With Me. I prided myself for doing that because it is really the best hotel to stay in for those who do not want to splurge unnecessarily for luxurious 5-star hotels. The location is right in the middle of all the happenings in Phuket, yet it is very quiet at night, so I had good-night-sleeps for my 5 nights stay. The service is well-done, the breakfast is more than satisfactory and everything you need is close-by...tuk-tuks, taxis, Jungceylon shopping mall, massage and spa centres, Bangla street, 7/11, great food, hundreds of local souvenirs stalls and etc. Stay here! You won't regret! "

"Baaan Lai Mai is a well situated hotel in Phuket. It is beachfront, and close to all the shopping amenities, bars and restaurants. It even has its own oudoor entertainment facilities downstairs. The eat all you can at night was value for money. This place is close to Bangla Rd. which is the centre of attraction when the night comes in Phuket. The Staff were very friendly, they make up your room daily and a beautiful atmosphere around the hotel at night time. I would stay there again if I go back to Phuket, highly recommended and value for money."

"We had both arrived in Phuket from different locations and while we were excited to be together, we were more exhausted from our journeys. Arriving at this hotel, we were impressed by how welcoming and open the front lobby was. The staff were efficient, and we quickly headed up to our beautifully-furnished room. It has everything you could need or want in a hotel and I really wish we were able to stay here for longer. I'm not sure what there is to do in the area, but this location became very convenient as it is a short taxi-ride to the ferry which was useful the next morning. I wish there were more affordable hotels like this one in the world! "

"it is a nice quiet resort situated away from the bustle/noise of patong. it takes about 15 mins by walk to the patong beach from the hotel. it is situated on a hill with a steep slope; the uphill walk might be difficult even for a normal person. however, the hotel provides a free shuttle service to patong beach, bangla road and jungceylon shopping center every 1-2 hours. the room was spacious with a comfy sofa, coffee table and 32" lcd tv. there was a balcony providing beautiful views of the mountain. the hotel has a very beautiful split swimming pool. the staff were very friendly. the breakfast buffet collection was good, particularly the egg station. overall, very much satisfied with the stay at baan yuree and would recommend this hotel if you want a nice quiet relaxing stay in phuket.
